Ruby hack: (NEW) Pokemon: Moon/Sun

As I promised, Moon/Sun will be completed. Most of the features are still in the hack, and more. For those that don't know, yes I'm making two hacks. Why two hacks in one thread you say? Well, as you know, Pokemon games comes in pairs. Red/Blue, Gold/Silver, and so on. These will mostly be the same, but they will have they're differences. For example, different Pokemon. But enough chit-chat. I present to you:

Great sceens dude. Love the D/P pokemon sprites. But in the last pic i see the mans head under the fence. Maybe you should fix that, Anyway good work.

Ruby is much easier, plus there are more tools for it. Also, I'm kinda addicted to the Pokemon Contests and ribbons. And, I like the way it begins. The Poochyena chasing Birch makes me smerk everytime I see it.

I am working extremely hard with this palette editing, so this will have FR/LG graphics! The screenshots will have to be put off until tomorrow then. I'm working hard on scripting and mainly...everything. This will have a few scripts from Ruby, but most of them will be changed. I don't want to have the same story as R/S.

Well Black@ndy, I thought about that. But that's way too much work. My plan is to hack on one Ruby ROM, let's say doing Moon first. Then a little before releasing the beta, make a copy of it and edit it so it'll be different. Change a couple of trainer sprites, what Pokemon are in it, and so on.

Speaking of trainers, it's time to reveal some news. I need to edit the first post as well. Anyway, Giovanni is no longer the leader of Team Rocket. Butch and Cassidy are. Since this happens, Jesse and James are going their seperate ways. Since Jesse has a reddish kind of hair, she is going to become the leader of Team Magma. James, blue hair, Team Aqua. You get it right?

Well tomorrow will be alot to show, so be prepared!

Alright Treecko you are back! Those are some nice looking tiles you got there. The events seems to be getting better too. I agree with you on hacking Ruby. It does have contests and other nice events. But if you can get FireRed graphics, then go RUBY!!!

i was wondering what happened to this hack. good to see it's back up. the team rocket/magma/aqua idea is real neat as well. i'd suggest you stick with the original frontier brains and allow others to be normal trainers that you battle. it would ruin the reality of having anime characters (jesse james...), but using fictional characters for the frontier brains. good luck.

Well I can't use the original Frontier Brains because they're going to be in a new region. The Frontier Brains in this hack will still be people around Pokecommunity whoever wants to be one. I'm creating alot for this hack. There will be no more Elite Four. I'm replacing them with something special. I'm adding one heck of an idea in the Safari Zone too. This is going to be one original hack. Hope you like it.

Hey, its great to see you are continuing with the hack and made a new thread. The pictures look good, i like the tiles. I'll try to work on the NEW banners when i get home. Wait, are the D/P pokemon trio starters? If so, i'll make banners for them.:)
