Nintendo DS Problem. Has anyone else had this problem?

There is also something weird that happens ~1% of the time, and that's if I close it, it goes in and out of sleep mode extremely fast.

That happened to me one day. On that day, my own Diamond had that "glitch". But when I was playing something else on my old DS (friend's Diamond for example), Sleep was okay. It went away and has never happened again.

The same friend has that L button problem on his Lite. It only works about 5 or 10% of the time.

Nintendo program them to self-destruct so you buy the trillion new models.

My original DS is still fine but its had limited use.

I've actually never dropped my DS. However, I removed the plastic on the back when I first got it which made the barcode wipe off after a while so GameStop won't take it and my warranty is probably up.

The barcodes always fall off for me. On all my Nintendo portables

Shoulder button malfunctions are seemingly common problems in the DS family, but none of mine have experienced it. Guess I'm lucky. :P
