(Now, as a formality, I will also include my own signup. I will continue to play as Arlene Sanders in a direct continuation of a roleplay good ol' Lauren and I played together in a while back, called Pokemon III, by Stantler.)

    =====================================================================================

    Name: Arlene Marie Sanders
    Age: 17
    Gender: Female
Appearance: Stout and tough, Arlene is a hardcore woman to the core. She wears a black tanktop (which barely is enough to hide certain parts which are larger than most women's), black camouflage pants gathered at the mid-shin, and black combat boots. An angry scowl usually betrays her pretty face, which is partially hidden beneath a cascade of blonde hair that reaches past the seat of her pants (which in itself, yet again, would make most men drool).

Shocking green eyes, vibrant and deeply saturated in vivid color, poke out from her toasty orange-auburn fur as does the delicately-smoothed curvature of her muzzle, ending in the common cold black canine nose. Strange black marks are slashed into either side of her muzzle, the same jet black as the metaphorical gloves and socks of black fur she has; and the claws that jut from each finger and toe have been carefully filed down into near-molecule-perfect points.

Personality: While seemingly cold and hateful on the outside, getting on her good side is not that difficult. She cares deeply for life and cherishes close friends and believes in the unspoken value of emotional bonds with others; she is one of the rare cases of people who put the lives of those she cares for far above her own and will do anything to protect those people, without a second thought, and without a heartbeat's hesitation. She carries this emotion - love - into battle whether it is herself versus another, or her Pokemon versus another Pokemon.

History: Arlene is known most readily for her adamant, pessimistic attitude towards life (or so it seems), and the fact that she has never had any formal schooling; due mostly to the fact that her parents were murdered when she was four years old, and was taken to the region of Kanto by her mentor. She lived a quiet life in Pallet Town, separated from the rest of the world, with this mentor in question, learning what the school system could have taught her and things that she would never learn from anywhere but with him... It is said even that Snake, her first Pokemon, was given to her by this enigma. But little else is known about what motivates her every morning to continue life.

Her very greatest fears were put to the test not long after journeying to the region of Sinnoh, as she and a close friend battled the unspeakable. Together they stopped the end of the world, but the experience left Arlene haunted. She saw things in her dreams that no mortal was ever meant to see, and to this day, she wakes up screaming in the night about "the ring" like a crazed cultist. Fearing her own past, she has returned to Kanto to sever the tie that most resiliently clings to her and drags her back to the past, a guild of assassins bent on exterminating her family.

    Pokemon:
+SNAKE: Experienced female Lucario, 5' 6", very calm and laid back. Typically does not enjoy battle and loves all life. Can clutch a firearm in both hands, but is rather clumsy with them.

+JAYDIN: Expert male Linoone, average size. Very thin, and very goofy. He loses track of what he's doing quite often, and can hardly remember to breathe at times. Has a knack for herding other Pokemon around and is a well-equipped leader at times. Enjoys fighting.

+FATE: Male Ninetales. Not as experienced as Jaydin, but more experienced than Snake. Very quiet and helpful, and prefers not to fight Pokemon smaller than he is due to a great sense of pride. Average size, plus a few pounds of extra fat.

Location in Kanto at the start of the RP: Indigo Plateau, Sisterhood Of The Flame Fortress

Other: Arlene has been known to carry a combat knife for a matter of personal safety and does not normally camp out. Since she has come of age, she has left her home with Orion for good, living as (basically) a nomad.

    Name: Maximillion(Max for short) Tegeku

    Age: 15

    Gender: Male

    Appearence:
Regularly: Max usually wears a red polo shirt, a red and blue cap, black pants, a necklace with a Kyogre scale encase in it for good luck, black and green fingerless gloves, his black hair spiky/messy with his crystal blue eyes, and his brown running shoes.

Formal: Max wears a black tuxedo with a blue undershirt, a blue tie, no hat, his hair gelled down even though it bothers the crud out of him, white fingerless gloves, dance shoes, and his necklace.

When it's cold: When it's cold Max wears black pants, a black polo shirt to attract more sun if its out, his hat, sometimes earmuffs depending on how cold it is, his necklace, running shoes, black and green fingerless gloves, brown running shoes, and his brown jacket that isn't to thick or to thin.

Personality: Max is a go with flow kind of guy. He figures that whatever happens has happened and you should get on with your life. He doesn't talk much and doesn't have many friends due to this factor. He loves to climb trees, swim, do taikwondo(which he hasd a black belt in), write novels, draw, and sculpt a little.

History: Max grew up in Vermillion City. He worked as Lt. Surge's referee for a few years. He was trusted with Surge's pokemon and he was very good at refereeing. Although, many trainers hated the fact that he had a kid as a referee, but Surge didn't see anything wrong with it. Max developed a friendship with Surge's pokemon becoming their best friends and them becoming his best friends.

His parents announced them moving when he was 8 and didn't want to leave. Surge told him that it was Max's destiny to leave that gym. Max cried and didn't stop for a few hours until he felt like he couldn't cry anymore. They moved to Cinnabar Island were Max was picked on by many other kids and Max never developed a friendship. he soon realized that his only true friends were pokemon and Surge. He decided to become a pokemon trainer due to the fact of being fed up going without friends and wanting to beat Lt. Surge. His family consists of one older brother, his mom, and dad.

    Pokemon:

Sparky- A male Pikachu with a bond for Max. Being Max's first pokemon pikachu is experienced and will never give up for Max. He loves to play with other pokemon and develops friendships fast.

Eevee- A female Eevee with a clumsy personality. Not experienced due to just hatching out of an egg. Eevee as clumsy as she is usually falls and tramples over her own feet and usually falls into others.

Riolu- A male Riolu with the will to never give in and will do anything for his friends. He is not as experienced as Sparky but more experienced then Eevee. He loves most pokemon and dream about becoming a Lucario.

Magmar- A female Magmar found in the streets of Cinnabar Island as a Magby by Max and Sparky. Very thankful for being found Magmar was Max's second pokemon. Magmar is very loyal to Max and Max alone. Doesn't get along with pokemon except the ones with Max very well.

Location in Kanto at the start of the RolePlay: Vermillion City.

Other: Max has a scar that runs down from his right shoulder down to the palm of his right hand. His father says that it is a sign of Max being very social and friendly and having many human friends, but Max knows this isn't true because the only human friend Max has is Lt. Surge.

    Name: Charlotte (Charlie) Maddox
    Age: 17
    Gender: Female
Appearance: Charlotte or as she likes to be called Charlie, is considered to be appealing to males. She is tall for her age at 5'7 and has what can be described as an athletic build, toned from years of soccer and ballet. Her hair is a dark blonde, golden in the sunlight and light brown in the shade, it's rather long, falling well past her shoulders and much to her fathers dislike is rarely cut thus giving it a shaggy look. Her skin is fair with slight olive hues and slightly freckled, but flawless and often glowing. Her eyes are an olive green with golden flecks, and her self-confessed favourite feature.

She is what you would describe as a conventional beauty with high cheekbones and a perfect jaw line. Her lips are thin, but nice and pink and her teeth are straight from years of braces as a child. Her feet are mangled from years of ballet, covered in scars, blisters, bruises and several of her toes are broken beyond repair. She still wears a Volkner jacket, but this time it's authentic and taken straight from his wardrobe every morning, paired with a white polo shirt and denim shorts, or a black singlet and grey shorts and a scuffed pair of white canvas shoes. On her left wrist is a PokeGear which was a gift from her father and she keeps her shiny red Pokedex in her jacket pocket. She still carries her old sporting backpack from her favourite soccer team, and always carries a fire stone, a photo album, her cell phone and the Hyper rank ribbon she received on her last journey.

Personality: Charlie is a good-natured person on the whole. She's very bright and creative, but can be very moody. Most of the time she's happy and easy going but sometimes she can become very depressed and angry for no reason. She's a self-professed cynic and believes legendary Pokemon are non-existent and a stupid concept, despite her encounter with them on Mount Coronet. Although she is a dreamer, she believes in facts and what can be seen. Charlie is helpful and friendly and always up for a long talk. She prefers socialising in small groups rather than larger ones. She speaks fluent French as well as English.
She's a team player and loves working in groups, always pulling her own weight. Charlie often dances around, mostly out of habit from her years of classical ballet training.

She loves the beach, and swimming, most sports especially soccer. Charlie hates being alone or left behind as she has abandonment issues and also dislikes big cities.

History: Charlie was born in Fuchsia City to her parents Rhys and Heather. She grew up happily alongside her brother Russel, three years her senior. Her father worked as a ranger at the safari zone and her mother devoted her life to raising and caring for her family.
From an early age it was clear that Charlie was gifted. Her parents enrolled her in a number of special programs as well as her regular education. At age five she started classical ballet, which she excelled at. On the academic front Charlie was ahead, but she lacked social skills. She was friendly, but not very popular. She had very few friends and spent most of her time playing in the Safari Zone with Russel.
At age eight Charlie followed in her brothers' footsteps and joined a soccer team. Her parents thought that she would not be as athletically inclined as she was academically, they were wrong. She was a star player on every team she graced, but also a team player, believing in equality and good sportsmanship.

When Charlie was nine her mother passed away to an unknown disease. To Charlie, it was sudden, but Rhys and Russel had seen it coming for a while. They kept the knowledge of Heather's deteriorating health from the young Charlie.
For a few years Charlie meandered aimlessly through life. When she was ten her brother left on a Pokemon journey as a way of dealing with their mothers death. Rhys decided to move Charlie and himself to Snowpoint City in the Sinnoh Region, where they would be away from memories of Heather.

Over the years Charlie blossomed into an attractive young woman, she made many friends and had a few boyfriends. When she was fourteen she watched a Pokemon tournament on television with her father, and that was when she saw Volkner battle for the first time. She was obsessed. Charlie had been barely interested in Pokemon until then and turned her thoughts to becoming a Pokemon trainer. Her father insisted she graduate high school first, which was two years away.

Over the next two years Charlie extensively studied Pokemon as well as her regular studies. Her knowledge had been fairly limited until then due to sheer disinterest but she quickly caught up. Her father bought her many books and she watched many Pokemon tournaments over the years. For her sixteenth birthday her father gave her a newly hatched Vulpix, whom Charlie raised to the best of her ability.
Charlie graduated from high school at the top of her class and then set off on her very own Pokemon journey with Vulpix.

Her journey led her to Eterna City where she met great friends, such as Jay and Arlene and began to unravel the mysteries of the dreams they'd all been having. Charlie and Jay found themselves teleported to Lake Valor where Charlie met Volkner, her hero and they fell for each other. Well he fell for her; she'd fallen a long time ago. After the events at Mount Coronet, which Charlie has very little memory of, she moved to Sunnyshore City to live with Volkner where she resides at current day

    Pokemon:
Vulpix ♀= Charlie's first Pokemon and best friend (aside from Arlene) loyal and affectionate, she has become an experienced battler in Volkner's gym. Wears a midnight blue ribbon with a bell attached. Mother of Fortune, Destiny and Kismet, three young Vulpixes.
Drifloon ♂= Drifloon was the first Pokemon Charlie caught, and the one who amuses her the most. He enjoys playing with children and has a nasty habit of trying to drift away from them. Drifloon enjoys battling, but prefers contests
Lapras ♀= Lapras was a gift to Charlie from Volkner, caught as a baby off the shore in Sunnyshore. She is incredibly gentle and kind, and her calming nature soothes Charlie when she is distressed
Ampharos (Sage) ♂= Another gift from Volkner, celebrating their one year anniversary, Charlie received him as a Mareep and raised him to the shocking Pokemon he is today. Ampharos is also very calm and wise, thus earning the nickname Sage
Vulpix ♂ (Fortune)= Fortune is the son of Charlie's Vulpix and Arlene's Ninetales Fate, a little surprise after their encounter at Mt Coronet. Fortune takes after his father, and is the joker of Charlie's team. He is goofy and inexperienced in battling, but still adored by all. Smaller than his mother, only due to age and being the runt of the litter.

Location in Kanto at the start of the RP: N/A (You'll see ;])
Other: Charlie still dreams of being a Park Ranger of the Fiore region after Volkner retires from his position as Gym Leader

I haven't RPed in a good few months, so rather than creating a new character, I decided to re-use a character from an RP that never started.

In the words of everyone's favorite plumber, Here we go:

    Name:
    Edward 'Ed' Bill.

    Age:
    16

    Gender:
    Male

    Appearance:
Ed is not one to worry about his appearance, nor does he care when others address this. Many people have tried to do something about this lack of care and many have failed in doing so. Fashion is irrelevant and he's looked down on for this and often ridiculed for his sense of, or therefore lack of, taste. In his mind, clothes are for comfort, warmth and decency and not to make statements or to create an 'image'.

He has the frame of a much younger boy. He stands at around 5"4' with little to no build and due to this looks very skinny, weak and on top of all that 'undeveloped'. Scrawny is the word a lot of people would use. To sum it all up he didn't look his age.

Ed sports shimmering Sapphire eyes and thick, scruffy, chestnut hair that erupts from underneath his red beanie -which sports a black Pokéball emblem on the bottom, right hand side-. He wears a slim, fitted, black t-shirt with an identical, but yellow, Pokéball emblem at the bottom right. Also a black and yellow striped beaded necklace hangs around his thin neck, given to him by a friend before moving to Kanto. He wears a pair of red jeans, the same colour as his hat, and a pair of plain white running shoes. On top of all this he wears a trainer's belt, a pair of black fingerless gloves and a red bum bag.

He has a permanent sleepy, 'can't be bothered', 'I don't care', expression plastered onto his face.

    Personality:
Despite what his appearance depicts, Ed is a hasty, bold and courageous individual who can't sit still for very long. He lacks patience and focuses on too many things at once, he's a boy who always finds the 'quick fix' solution in life. This doesn't help his career choice as a professional Pokémon trainer as he lacks the capacity to keep practicing and training.

He's naive and lovable, while at the same time too active, energetic and annoying. He has no initiative or work ethic, he just wants to become a famous and powerful Pokémon trainer with no hard work involved. Having said that, he's not spoiled by any means. He will work as an act of stubbornness or to prove a point. He hates been told what to do and refuses to be a part of anything popular, whether it be the popular choice of music, popular preferences or more to the point, fashion.

To sum everything up, he's lazy and stubborn, but active and naive. His personality is very contradictory of itself and he's proud of this.

    History:
Boring and generic. That's how Ed would describe his life up until this point in time. The only major events include moving from Johto to Kanto, starting Trainer's school, catching his first Pokémon and leaving Trainer's school.

Ed joined Trainer's school at the age of seven. Despite argument to go to law school from his Mother. He served three out of his nine years of Pokémon education at Azelea's lowly Pokémon school before being transferred to Goldenrod City's Rosewood Private School, Johto's most famous Training Academy. He spent only three years there before they had to move to Kanto, where he joined a regular school which required him to catch a Pokémon before entering, this is how he met Ko, his best friend since capture.

Ed's family moved from Azalea Town, Johto to Cerulean City, Kanto three years ago. Requiring Ed to transfer to a different school for his last year of education. The reason for the move was very simple, his Father couldn't handle the three hour trip to work any longer. They moved to Cerulean as it's only twenty minutes north of Saffron City, via car, where his Father worked. He worked as part of the production team and a lead-programmer for the Upgrade software, evolving Porygon into Porygon2. Due to this, Ed had received a Porygon for a moving in-present which has been upgraded into every Beta form of Porygon2, which bore many strange shapes and features. The final result being his own Porygon2. He's eagerly waiting for the unofficial Dubious Disc, the illegal software not endorsed or created by Silph Co, to evolve his Pokémon further.

Ed left his school and home in Cerulean City only a month ago, and soon after met a very stealthy Farfetch'd with a nack for thievery, somewhat of a kleptomaniac.

Starting Location: Silence Bridge (Bridge between Vermilion and Lavender.)

    Pokémon:
    Operation: Maledict OOC
    #054 Ko / Psyduck
Ko is an amazing swimmer and battler, forever active and extremely stubborn. He's amazing when it comes to battling and Ed's best friend, despite their love-hate relationship and the fact they're always at a disagreement due to their similar stubbornness. His favorite attacks are Confusion and Water Pulse. When he gets a head ache however he somehow manages to pull of powerful moves such as Zen Headbutt. Ko is a very Hasty and determined Pokémon.

    Operation: Maledict OOC
    #233 Porygon2
Porygon2 is a recently evolved, happy-go-lucky Pokémon who isn't aware of it's own battle prowess. It's a phenomenally skilled battler and a great companion. It's favorite move is Tri Attack, however it can skillfully execute Conversion and Conversion2, often combining them with Defense Curl (or Sharpen, prior to evolution).
    Operation: Maledict OOC
    #083 Kamo / Farfetch'd
Kamo is the newest edition to the team. He is a very stealthy Pokémon who has developed a habit of stealing anything that catches his eye. He is a rather hasty Pokémon, who isn't afraid to say what he thinks (despite lack of human voice) and do what he wants. A rather compotent battler, he wields a small wooden toy-dagger that he stole from a child instead of the obligatory leek. Due to the dagger-Body size ratio he wields and uses it as a sword.

  • If it is a continuation of Pokemon III, I have to consider reviving good o'l Malic from the grave.

I am not sure if I am needed to join though. Seems like a full party already lol.

  • It's not really a continuation of Pokemon III, although it is a continuation of Charlie and Arlene.
It won't be related to the story line of Pokemon III at all, even though there will be a legendary involved,
so we're not stealing Stantler's awesome ideas or anything!

Malic is quite welcome, of course :]

  • I will definitely consider it. A completely new sign-up will have to be made since I have much more experience. Plus a little history for the characters saves trouble for a introduction. I will mock up a sign up probably tomorrow if I do.

  • Name: Reily Hayden Jackson
    Age: 16
    Gender:
    Appearance:
Physical Info- Reily is considered between average and fairly tall, standing at 5 feet, 4 inches tall, or 160 centimeters. She is borderline low weight, the scale says 94 pounds, or 42.7 kilograms, making her not quite toothpick-like as far as physical appearance, but getting there, though her weight's not low intentionally. Her hair is dark brown, almost black, and reaches down to her mid black, she's got high cheekbones, and bright, emerald green eyes with a ring of black around the iris.

Clothing, Normal Days- On normal days, Reily wears a black short sleeved t-shirt with a silver dragon on it, and a turquoise tank top that is a little bit longer than the shirt. She also wears white, grey, and black plaid shorts, one silver cuff bracelet on each wrist, and white running shoes, which she keeps in good condition. In colder weather she exchanges the shorts for heavier jeans made of dark gray/black denim, and black waterproof lace up boots. In addition to that she wears a white heavy, but not bulky, zip up coat.

Clothing, Formal Occasions- On the occasions where Reily needs to dress up a bit, she wears a black straight dress, with the skirt falling to around her knees, and which is trimmed with silver, she also wears delicate silver sandals with a very low heel, because she can't walk in higher heels, and swaps the cuff bracelets for one slim silver bracelet which she wears on her right wrist, and her necklace (explained below)

Special Items- She wears a black necklace with a blue crystal shaped like an eight pointed star hanging from it. She doesn't know its value, but she found it during a snowstorm and has just kept it with her since then.
Personality: Reily is a troublemaker and a prankster, she has tried to control the urge to prank people, but it always seems to get the better of her, and gets her into trouble. And she's been getting into trouble since she was two years old, her mother thought that she was just that way, but it was really because she had no outlet for her huge amount of energy. Either way, her mother signed her up for karate when she was two and a half, hoping that she would learn to excercise some self-control. It worked a litte, her pranks became less frequent, but once in a while someone would sit on a whoopee cushion, and all eyes would travel to Reily, who had mastered the art of putting on and keeping a straight face. Sometimes she managed to convince everyone that someone else had done it, other times she was gently scolded by her mother, though if she had done it to a guest, especially an important one, she would be sent up to her room. It didn't matter to her, she just needed something to laugh about.

When she's not playing pranks, she's actually a pretty nice person to be around, she's a good listener, and seems to know what to say in order to cheer someone up. She also has a way of making people trust her, she doesn't know how she does it, it just comes naturally, though all of her friends have seen the troublemaker side of her, which only appears when she's bored, or has way too much energy. She doesn't like to fight with others, 'cause it leaves her feeling extremely guilty, and so she just waits for it to blow over if she senses a major argument coming up, or tries to compromise, but occasionally her anger does get the better of her, and she'll actually become involved in the argument. Still, in all her years of playing pranks and stirring up trouble, she has never broken a single object, not even a water glass. Odd how that works out, but it does.

History: Reily's family was an entire family of pokemon breeders, they owned several acres of land near Solaceon Town where they raised and cared for pokemon. Her parents, though they have always been very supportive of Reily and her ambitions, had expected her to follow the tradition of being a pokemon breeder when she got older. That worked out okay with her brother, who was eight years older than Reily and exhibited an interest in pokemon breeding from the time he was five years old. However, what they hadn't planned for was their daughter's obvious interest in pokemon training, which began to show through when she was about two. Her ability to stir up trouble began showing through from the time she could crawl about on all fours, though, and when she was two and a half, her mother finally decided to try and help Reily to learn how to excercise some self control and signed her up for karate, which helped, it just didn't get rid of Reily's knack of causing trouble whenever she felt like everything had become too...boring for her. She continued to take karate lessons, however, mostly because she absolutely loved it, though she would never have dreamed of using it against someone else, not unless the situation called for it.

When she was five years old, bullies began to notice her, as a target, I mean. Because she lived so close to the local park, she went there nearly every day, and every day she would be picked on by bullies, at first, she just ran away, she had a great deal of stamina and speed, so they never caught up to her, but when she came back the teasing just got worse. Finally, she decided running away from it all wasn't going to be the solution, and so she started sticking up for herself for once, and all that got her was a black eye every few weeks, and a lot of bruises. She began visiting the park less and less, but every time she did got, she was teased and picked on horribly. Everything continued in this way for six years, until she was eleven, and had received her black belt in karate, for six years the anger and hurt she had been feeling because of the bullies had been building up, and one day, when she was at the park, standing by a large pond playing with some of the bug pokemon there, a whole new gang of bullies came up to her and pushed her into the water. Well, that didn't do much as she knew how to swim (her mother had insisted she take lessons, for her own safety) but then they tried to shove her head underwater, something inside her snapped, and she lashed out at them. Every one of the bullies went home with two black eyes and were soaked and muddy from having been tackled and pushed into the pond. Reily actually did feel better, but then her mother found out, and was horrified, she refused to believe Reily would ever do that, until Reily admitted it herself, and told the story about the bullies. They never bothered her again, but she was viewed differently from then on, everyone tried to avoid her, thinking that she would hurt them too if they made her angry. Reily almost became an outcast, and that changed her dramatically, she became a cold, almost mean person, until she met a stray pichu, which was kind of odd. She had been sitting on the roof of her house watching a shooting star crossing the sky, when the pichu leapt, or rather, climbed, onto the roof and just sat down next to her. Since then, they have been inseperable, and having a friend at last has brought Reily back to her former self, though she's still treated like an outcast.

Finally, though, she began to be accepted into society again, and made a few friends, really close friends. Eventually, though, they began to split up as each of them went seperate ways. Reily herself became a pokemon trainer, and has learned to command pokemon extremely well. In her sixteen years of life, she has had one true friend that remained her friend from 1 year to 16 years, Connor, and they are still friends currently, though they see each other much less than they used to.

    Pokemon:

    Operation: Maledict OOC

Raichu/Male- Reily's first ever pokemon, Raichu is extremely loyal to Reily, and would do anything to protect its trainer, just like Reily would do anything to protect her pokemon. It was hatched with a move that has been passed down through its family, Volt Tackle. Raichu doesn't get along well with anyone else except for Reily, though he's not a mean pokemon either, if seperated from his trainer, Raichu will do just about anything to get back to Reily, because he thinks of Reily not only as his trainer, but his best friend as well. The two of them have won countless battles together (well not really, it just seems so.)

    Operation: Maledict OOC

Lucario/Female- A loner, the only person she enjoys being around is Reily, if its someone else, she won't hesitate to just walk away. She and Reily understand each other extremely well, and though she isn't quite as experienced as Raichu, she still is Reily's second most experienced pokemon. She is constantly trying to make herself stronger by training on her own when Reily is training another pokemon. She acts like she doesn't really care for Reily's other pokemon, but if they needed help she would kill to save them.

    Operation: Maledict OOC

Dragonair/Female- One of the shyer, gentler pokemon on Reily's team, Reily's Dragonair is still a fairly experienced pokemon, though sometimes she lets herself be pushed around a bit. However, when Dragonair gets angry, for whatever reason, she'll fiercely attack whoever angered her, when that happens, Dragonair becomes an extremely skilled fighter, not giving her opponent any time to recover from her attacks. That happens rarely though.

    Operation: Maledict OOC

Buizel/Male- The newest addition to Reily's team, though not exactly recent, it joined a while ago, it decided to come along with Reily after her Raichu saved him, because of that, he looks up to Raichu. Because he's still new to the team, he's not very experienced, and still usually follows Reily around because he feels awkward around the other pokemon. The only one who hasn't fully accepted Buizel, however, is Reily's Lucario, who usually sticks up her nose at Buizel.

It looks interesting enough to pull me out of my break from RP's...

    Name: Geoff Barker
    Age: 19
    Gender: Male
Appearance: Geoff is a moderately shaped caucasian kid, reaching 5'9 and slightly muscular tone to his body, simply because of his profession. As an islander, he has a fairly thorough tan from being in the sun for the majority of his days. Geoff is a very attractive boy, being sure to have most of the attention of the girls in town. He has short midnight blue hair that scarcely covers the entirety of his ears and ends just at the top of his cold dark gray eyes. He usually wears a happy or indifferent expression on his face, as he just enjoys what life has to offer.

In casual wear, Geoff will usually be in a dirty long sleeved brown button up shirt over a black tshirt with dirty blue torn jeans that have various holes scattered around them and drape over his preferably bare feet, although sometimes he'll wear a small pair of plain black flip flops. Being a welder and blacksmith by trade, Geoff's skin is usually dirty and blackened from the fruits of labor. He sometimes wears a thick black apron and welder's mask on his forehead after he has finished a job. He never leaves home without either of them and some stray pieces of scrap metal for just in case inside a backpack he caries with him. Along the bottom of his backpack is an array of various welding and smithing hammers and tools. He doesn't dress formally often and will usually just make due by buying something on the spot when in a formal scenario

Personality: Geoff is a very layback guy who doesn't really like confrontation. He is very kindhearted and modest, but can tend to but a bit sarcastic at times. He's a very analytical person and usually finds flaws in people's logic or tries to play devil's advocate with the situation making him an excellent addition to any team who goes against tough odds. He's not a very forceful person, and is rarely the first to proclaim a battle in any situation. That being said, him and his pokemon are never caught off guard in heavy situations. Since he is a blacksmith and welder, he enjoys crafting things with his hands and trying to craft and create. He has a healthy relationship with his Pokemon and definitely trusts them with his life.

History: Geoff lived a quiet life for the most part, growing up on the south side of Cinnabar island in a small no name village. His family had always run the welding and blacksmith shop in town and was very involved in building boats and machinery out of scrap iron and things. He has never really left the island for the bulk of his childhood aside from occasional trips to other ports for the day. He lives quite happily with his mother and father running the family business with a daily gaggle of girls who come to swoon at his hot and sweaty job.

    Pokemon:
Magcargo[M] (Slick) - Moderate - A mild mannered Magcargo, he is a Pokemon that loves its master and loves the job he was given. Slick has the ability to produce amazing temperatures of heat and is Geoff's heat source when doing all of his metal work. He's not fast at all but can definitely blast out some flames.

Vaporeon[F] (Lilith) - Moderate - A somewhat lazy Vaporeon, it tends to lay around the shop until it is needed. Vaporeon is used it Geoff's family shop to cool down the metal after it has been super heated. Lilith has amazing accuracy with her water shots and is rarely known to miss.

Rhydon[M] (Norton) - Above Average - A Rhydon who loves to boast about its power and size, Rhydon is a very powerful pokemon and definitely knows it. He is used to hold metal in place while it is being processed through the heating and cooling process. Because of this action, Norton has gained an incredible resistance to both fire and water, making him capable of using peculiar attacks like Fire Blast and Surf.

Location in Kanto at the start of the RP: Vermillion

Other: Geoff is a very flexible and has quick reflexes due to years of morning tai chi and yoga

  • The sign-up is now complete. Good luck finishing the reading.

Name: Malic Argos (I suck with last names. Did I ever mention that?)

    Age: 20

    Gender: Male

Appearance: Impressive does not even to begin the appearance of the young man. Standing at 6 feet 2 inches and weighing at 200 pounds, Malic's body is thoroughly built and threatening to many due to various forms of ridiculous training. From the top down, Malic's head is defined by the mop of hair that chose to rest upon his head. Straight and long, his brown hair seeps down to his neck in unconventional style that is clearly an experiment. His bangs are typically out of the way yet occasionally will find themselves covering his left side of his face, where a long scar runs down from his forehead, through his eye down his mouth. His face is normally bright and expressive, limiting his need to talk, though he often will anyway for the sake of a laugh. Deep blue eyes penetrate through his hair and give the feeling of almost a model. For the most part, his face is clean and well kept, ignoring a few cuts and bruises and the scar described above.

Moving to his torso and lower body, a weathered body is clearly noticed due to his choice of clothes. His trunk is covered by a tight, loose fit t-shirt with a custom design composed of serpent-like dragon wrapping itself around a blade. The design starts from his left chest down to his right hip and the words "Blackthorn" are written upon the blade. Around his neck is steel chain with a battered Blackthorn City badge on the end acting as a necklace. His well-built arms are consumed by various injuries many of which left scars resembling bite wounds and scratches. Covering his hands and forearms are fingerless leather gauntlets, though they are very worn and clearly don't provide much protection anymore. Stonewashed gray jeans cover his legs and like his shirt are in mint condition. His skateboarding-like shoes wish they could tell the same tale, but much like his gauntlets are battered yet are in fairly solid condition. A fairly distinguishable belt keeps his pants from falling completely down, with a leather belt and sliver and black dragon buckle built in the design of the actual gym badge of Blackthorn City.

His stance is proud and tall and his walk exaggerates his physical strength and confidence. His voice is fairly normal, not too deep and not too high pitched, and unnaturally calm if speaking in a standard tone. He tends to carry a large, heavy bag wherever he goes, but despite his weight, Malic carries with it with unbelievable ease. Malic always wears a leather jacket similar to Volkner's, except it has red and black design with the symbol of the Blackthorn City badge on the back.

Personality: Those who know Malic from the past would remember the immature insolent brat who kept a cool head in Battle was incapable to being "normal" in any regular scenario. Well that definition has been safely broken....for the most part. Malic is fairly average of a young adult of his age and position. He enjoys taking risks and enjoying the more extreme joys in life, especially if in an unprofessional environment. At the same time, Malic suffers from the greatest tragic flaw of all: Hubris. Due to a near perfect win/loss record, Malic has developed the notion of being unbeatable and with a training schedule like his, no one can blame him. Malic is also a punk and what some would call a bully. Converting his childish tendencies into a different energy, Malic talks trash during competitive situations and will often pick on people smaller or younger than him, like a big brother. Malic has a competitive and physical drive, as seen his aggressive training schedule, his love for the outdoors and sports. Despite all these flaws in some people's opinions, he has a sense of charm making most people at the very least respect him and developed a hint of maturity that anyone can notice especially due to his overall calmer personality. Malic readily more intelligent and better spoken overall due to his occasional studies after a solid training day. Still, he is a jock in the truest sense of the word.

History: Malic was not a troubled individual like some people. He grew up in Blackthorn City, amazed by the ability of the trainers including Lance and Clair, the two most famous trainers from the dragon city. As a result, he dedicated himself to the ideal of becoming a legendary trainer much like his childhood idols. His father aided in this undertaking by granting him a Gible after his long years training under the Gym trainer's guidance. With his newfound dragon Pokemon, Malic traveled the region of Johto, captured several dragon-like Pokemon and engaged in a confrontation with Clair. While failure was the end result, Clair rewarded him the badge as a memento for his efforts and recommended he return later with experience earned throughout more travels.

This brought Malic to his travels in Hoenn and Sinnoh. Hoenn was a breeze for Malic and the foundations for his part were constructed in the forms of Charizard and Milotic. He blasted through the Gym Leaders and earned a place in the Top 5 in the Hoenn League. He wasn't quite satisfied with his results but saw Sinnoh as a fresh start. However, his Sinnoh adventure saw frightening results and his time in the region was cut short (See Pokemon III for his story). With little hesitation and the lack of an impact he left on his party, Malic returned to Blackthorn where at least he would be wanted.

Malic's return was well-recieved by the population as his victories in Hoenn were an epic victory for Blackthorn's legendary legacy. He defeated Clair in a rematch so after his return and her sudden retirement as a trainer gave Malic an opportunity. A series of tests were sent forth, including braving the darkest depths of the Dragon's Den and conquering Mount Silver's great heights. Malic's grit and determination dominated the competition with the lone exception of Gavin, his longtime friend and rival. Clair's choice was obvious and Malic became the leader of the Blackthorn. His regal position, however, needs little attention as most trainers are frozen in fear by the Ice Path or are easily defeated and broken by the redesign of the Gym and the trainers that infest its halls. As a result, Malic takes frequent breaks to train in the Dragon's Den with untamed dragons, both for himself and his Pokemon hence his reshaped body and the numerous wounds he has endured. However, soon boredom has taken over and Malic chose to leave the gym in the hands of Clair for a short time as Malic's desire to explore Kanto became too much to handle.

    Pokemon:
Garchomp- Garchomp is Malic's first and most respect Pokemon in his party. Originally a prideful, unpredictable dragon, the rigid training schedule has converted the rage into focused power and determination. Now an obident, reliable and trustworthy battler, Malic is able to fight in tune with Garchomp, almost without any words or vocal communication but with body language and an almost mental connection. Regardless of the party Malic chooses to travel with, Garchomp is always a memeber due the impact he had on Malic's life and the experiences they shared. Garchomp's constant travels make him the most experienced Pokemon on the team and the most resourceful.

Kingdra- Kingdra was one of Malic's Johto captures that was a Horsea upon collection and evolved during Malic's travels in Johto. However, his next location being Hoenn, Malic wanted a fresh start and left Seadra in the hands of Gavin for training. His return to Blackthorn was met with a great shock as Seadra had transformed into Kingdra. Kingdra is likely his calmest Pokemon, likely to his time with the mellow Gavin. Despite this, Kingdra has proven to be a last minute momentum changer, pulling out victories in a unpredictable manner making her a wild card. Kingdra's long list of battles make it arguably the wisest of the fighters.

Dragonair- Dragonair resembles Garchomp's younger days, as she proven to be the nastiest wild Dragonair in the den. Dragonair is a dragon with a sense of pride and stature, driving her incrediable power to new heights.Causing half of Malic's scars, mostly the ones across his arms and legs, Dragonair is a rebel and a beast. However, his capture and taming of the beast has forced her to admit Malic his her master, and that's it. Nobody else can make her obey, making her an interesting case. Malic wishes nothing more for her to evolve into Dragonite, knowing the strength will be legendary. Dragonair's battle experience is long with few defeats, making it a vetern of the battlefield.

Bagon- Bagon is Malic's baby, freshly hatched only a few weeks ago in terms of the story. Being young, Bagon has potential boosting incrediable powers as a result of Malic's clever breeding with Clair's help. Bagon is curious and cuddly, acting like a baby in truest sense of the word. Bagon is also the only Pokemon he does not keep in a Pokeball so it often hangs out on his shoulder or Malic's feet. Being so young, Bagon has rarely any battle experience but has held its own against wild Pokemon.

Location- Saffron City, the train station after taking the Light rail to Kanto.

Other: Malic's facial scar is a sign of weakness and shame as the "king" of the Dragons within the Dragon's Den brought him the scar after a violent encounter in an attempt to calm the foul and dangerous beast. He believes that the king was involved within the process of breeding the Dragonair. His hopes reside in raising the Dragonair to be a powerful ally. There in lies his redemption. It is a fact that he has only shared with Gavin, Lance and Clair.

Edits: Fixed a few minor spelling errors and added to the scar tale.
Edits Part 2: I remember I wanted to add a Jacket to his appearance and so I did. Last Paragraph is its description.

  • Mkay guise, here's the finished product, again of course:

    Name: Roland Niven
    Age: 20
    Gender: Male
Appearance: At 20, Roland looks a few years older, his body grizzled and lean from hiking and traversing mountain paths throughout Johto, a part of Sinnoh, and currently Kanto. His face seems naturally attractive, with sharp angles and cloudy pale blue-green eyes. He keeps his short, shaggy dark brown hair (though it never touches his eyes) tousled and hardly brushed, and it usually flows with the wind. He's taller than average, standing at 6'2".

Roland usually wears clothes more suited to his field, but has recently laxed. In the meantime he resorts to wearing his old weathered blue jeans, worn black classic Vans, and a navy blue shortsleeve button-up shirt. He usually has a concealed weapon on him: his grandfather's hunting knife, still sharp to the touch.

Personality: Roland can be terribly stoic and distant in situations. Mostly apathetic, it shows on his face often, even in battles. Hard to get to know, though he doesn't actively try to push people away. Roland is usually prepared for most situations, and confident in himself. He usually thinks of his plans ahead of time, and often executes them thinking they are flawless in action. If something does go wrong, or if he does say something wrong, he'll deny it and it can take some pointing out from another person. Never get in the way of one of his plans, unless you want to be run over by a train. There have been exceptions to the rule in the past, though. He has a bad tendency to view people and pokemon (usually ones he doesn't know/doesn't like) as pawns in his chess game.

Roland was never the type for helping people, always thinking that they should do it themselves, but he'll do his best should he think you're in need of it. He has few passions, save for the wilderness and the cold.

History: Roland hails from Mahogany Town, Johto. As a boy, Roland and his father took business trips up to Blackthorn City oten. Many boyhood days were taken at the Mahogany gym, watching Pryce and his gym trainers, and naturally the young Roland developed a taste for the cold and the rocky environment that he grew up in. Roland decided he wanted to travel and see the world for what it is, growing up. In his later years, he took to study under Professor Elm. He briefly toured Sinnoh, only touching Snowpoint City and the surrounding areas.

In the course of travels he's come across many (maybe too many) things that left his senses dazed. Some Pokemon, maybe a few girls were had, friends were made, and drinks were knocked along, but for Roland his road life seems so much like a blur.

    Pokemon:
-Weavile, called Morpheus, caught in the Ice Path as a Sneasel, first Pokemon,
Morpheus is pretty much the opposite of his trainer: goofy, impatient, and hotheaded. His attention span is fairly short and largely unfocused, but it's Ice Punch is chilling.

-Pidgeotto, called Tequila, caught as a Pidgey on Route 29
Tequila is probably the most battle crazy, and determined to win until she drops from exhaustion. Lithe and agile, she can take hits without noticing any harm was done at all until the last move.

-Scyther, called Strife, caught in the Goldenrod Bug Catching Contest
Strife is a strange Pokemon, actually. He has a dislike for battle, but will do it anyways. Always the sullen one, too.

-Gyarados, called Flip, caught in the Lake of Rage as a Magikarp
Roland didn't actually evolve his Magikarp into far along into his travels. He'd taken the thing out of a dusty box after hearing of Gyarados' power. Probably the most untamed Pokemon at the moment.

-Larvitar, called Boots, caught on Mt. Silver
Boots was actually found at Roland's feet while he was in Mt. Silver. He didn't put up a fight at all, and doesn't seem to put up one in battles he features in. Boots can hold well, though, and for a good long time.

Location in Kanto at the start of the RP: Mount Moon

Other: Roland's a still good fighter take away his Pokemon. He knows his way around the wild, learned a quite few tricks and tips.

    Name: Kyshio Timagota

    Age: 18

    Gender: Male

    Appearance:
Kyshio is pretty short for his age and has a pretty slim physique. Only coming up to 5'3 with his spikey black hair that is held up with a yellow headband. His eyes are a golden brown color that seem to be almost like jewels. He wears a yellow hoody no matter how warm it is that has a big pocket in the area just below the center of the hoody. He where black jeans and yellow and black shoes. He carries a black backpack which usually holds his food and spare clothes.

    Personality:
Kyshio is a very kind kid but sometimes it makes him seem so gullible. He is quiet and usually only speaks when is spoken to first unless he is by himself he will talk to his pokemon. He likes run around and play with his pokemon but when he notices someone around him the stops and droops his head as if he should be ashamed for something he did. When he gets to know someone he will talk to them and be friendly but if they are around someone he doesn't know he just doesn't talk until he gets to know that person. Kyshio loves to battle and he could not imagine a world without pokemon battles and would stop anyone who tries to take that away from him.

    History:
Kyshio was born and raised in Pewter City along with his older sister and his younger sister. While at home he knew that he would have to step up and take charge knowing that he was the only other male in the house besides his father. His dad worked and lot and his mom usually spent her time going to school trying to get her law degree. Kyshio would clean up and take care of things around the house so he usually didn't get out and play often.
When he was 12 Kyshio decided to be a pokemon trainer to see more of what the world had to offer. His mom was out of school and took over cleaning the house and his father was able to work one job since he did not have to pay for his wives schooling anymore. Kyshio had a positive outlook about his journey but did really know how to actually have fun since he did not get out the house often. Before leaving the House his dad got him a pokemon. He got a jigglypuff and he seemed to like him. Kyshio and Jigglypuff went thru many tough battles but eventually it evoled to Wigglytuff while he was in the middle of his journey thru Hoenn.
Returning to Kanto to visit his family he wanted to start his adventures thru Kanto since he wanted to try Johto first. Kyshio believes that the pokemon and the lessons he learned from his travels prepared him for what he thought would be an eventful journey thru Kanto.

    Pokemon:
Wigglytuff (Pink) - Female - Kyshio's first pokemon and the strongest member of his team. She his very kind and tries to make friends with other trainers and pokemon that she sees. Packed with a variety of moves Pink never ceases to amaze other trainer with its power but still tries to win them over with her cuteness.

Electivire (Watson) - Male - Watson was given to Kyshio as a electabuzz from Watson as a token of appreciation for helping cleaning up his house. Watson knows that he is strong and always wants to prove it when battling. He can easily be one of Kyshio's most loyal pokemon and likes to stay around his trainer to protect him.

Squirtle (Rain) - Female - His newest member and recently hatched from her egg. Rain is a bit of a showboat. She sees her attacks are beautiful and she will run around flashing them off in the center of people. She has some battle skill but she would prefer just showing off her moves. She is still sort of a baby and likes to ang around Watson for protection.

Location in Kanto at the start of the RP: Pewter City

  • Okay Koroc, decent sign up, however your acceptance is Debated for the time being, Darkhaven3 and I will continue to discuss you, and will let you know if you are accepted or declined in the near future.

    Alright members of the roleplay,
We're two positions away from starting this baby up.
Before we launch into the story, involving the legendary, we will begin by building up to your character going to Kanto, or establishing them if they are in Kanto already.
This is because Darkhaven3 and I want all the characters to be established and rped with before we launch into the main story. Also Darkhaven3 and my characters need to do certain things before the story can commence, (expect EPIC fight scenes from DH3) and we don't really want to see you guys sitting there, twiddling your thumbs.

We'll let you know when to start in the main thread :D
