First, I wrote a poem. Go read it? :3
Secondly, poetry is something I've discovered relatively recently. I mean, I've known of its existence for many years - obviously - but only recently has it become an important part of my life. I love all writing, but poetry was, until not long ago, something that I viewed as difficult, or boring, or just . . . removed. Now that I've discovered it's every bit as thrilling as writing prose, and not at all difficult, I love it. You have a freedom to use words in ways you never would in a simple narration.
So as a result, I've been making a concerted effort of late to write as much poetry as I can. It's marvellously liberating. I won't bore you too much with my literary rapture, however. Instead, I shall move on to the whimsy.
No, no grass-type fluffballs here. Move along, dammit.
In any case, school is starting to get heavier for me. I'm in my second-to-last year and all of a sudden people expect more of me. MY parents want me to take scholarship exams this year ON TOP OF the NCEA and AS level ones. That means I'll be taking 6, 10, 11. Eleven exams. The average is six (one per subject) at about three or four papers an exam. I'm doing nearly double that, and all the extra ones are at a much higher level.
Ugh, this isn't whimsical at all, is it? It's actually kinda depressing.

I love you. You don't get a picture of rice crackers, though, because Google Images is being a douche tonight.
