It's a bonus chapter, so it's not compulsory. But if you wanna complete it, you'll need HM06. You'll find it before challenging Giovanni.

Does anyone kno what he means by set rtc and set save settings to 128

for the RTC : Options > Emulator > Real Time Clock (Make sure theres a Check)

for the Save Settings : Options > Emulator > Save Type > Automatic > Flash 128k

You need the national pokédex, you get one when you save Bill from a fearow (North of cerulean city)

Brock, Misty, Erica, Blaine and Lt. Surge can be rebattled after beating the league but only on certain days

Red, Green, and Blue all happen at the same time, then Yellow is two years later.

You can get HM Fly from a girl which is near blue after team rocket kidnaps Vaporeon. But you need the orange ticket from Prof. OAK which you can get after you beat the league.
