What's the big deal?

Welcome to GT11's Pokémon Design Contest! Create your own Pokémon based on a chosen theme. Let out your creative side and enjoy looking at other people's entries.

How do I join in?

Simply fill in the form below and create your pokemon.

Username: Full Pokécommunity Username
Pokémon Name: The name of the Pokémon that the participant has designed. Optionally explain the origin of it's name.
Type: Pokémon type. If the type is created by the participant please explain it's weaknesses and strengths.
Ability: Pokémon ability. If the Pokémon has a new ability, explain it.
Moveset: Describe how each move that the Pokémon will learn via levelling up, as well via TMs and HMs. If there are new moves, explain them.
Stats: Base Pokémon stats.
Design: Describe or draw via pixel art or drawing the Pokémon's design.
Pokédex Entry: Create 2 mock pokémon entries

What's the Theme?

The theme of the contest is...

HOENN SUMMER FUN

To celebrate the release of ORAS, the contest's theme will be based on a tropical paradise. For instance, make a coconut Pokémon for a beach theme, a dolphin Pokémon for the tropical sea or even a Pokémon that soaks up the sun for power.

Any more special conditions/rules?

- No Legendary Pokémon
- No evolutions or baby formes for existing pokémon, you need to make something 100% new
- If the Pokémon has new moves/abilities/types, explain them.
- Optional: Add evolutions, pre-evolutions and mega evolutions to your entry. They won't be judged, so this is just for fun

You misunderstand. Pre-evolutions and evolutions are not going to be included in the judging. The Pokemon you designed itself will be judged, of course. This is a competition, after all.
