I'm not sure what a pull request is, but for May/Brendan, I'd go with these as their final teams:
    https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/May_(game)#Fifth_battle_(optional) + https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Brendan_(game)#Fifth_battle_(optional)
And for Wally, I'd go with this:

Maybe for Brendan and May, you can use their more modern teams throughout the game as well. Their original Emerald teams are pretty dire. And adding in an additional final battle with them on route 103 would be great because they otherwise basically disappear from the story after Lilycove.

I noticed Sidney still has a Hariyama which seems odd when all of the other Elite 4 stick to their types. Maybe add a Crawdaunt or Sableye since Phoebe isn't using Sableye?

I also noticed Norman repeats Slaking a few times in rematches. I don't think any other gym leaders do that. Maybe swap some of the other Normal types he used in there.

This hack really is fantastic and I don't want to backseat driver you, truly. I think so much of the game is truly perfect that it just makes these tiny things stand out all the more.

Please keep doing what you're doing!

I'm having an issue where I cannot see my avatar, the movement buttons do nothing, and the orientation of the camera implies that I am in trees that I should not be able to reach. I think I'm between Petalburg and the route to Oldale.

    Hi Bipearso!

Yes, there's a bug with follow pokemon where you sometimes turn invisible and the camera takes you off screen. The best way to get out of it for the time being is to open the debug menu (Start + R), navigate to "Utilities" and select "Fly to map". This will work no matter where you are stuck. Apologies for the bug! I've been dealing with it myself, no fun.

v10 is now available on the main post!

Bug fixes in this release are:

    • Jirachi bug is now finally fixed
    • Key Items that exceed the limit (30 in the bag) will now transfer to the PC automatically
    • All Key Items can be placed in the PC as needed
    • Many Key Items have now become regular items
    • New NPC in Littleroot "The Fixer" who will add back key items and set flags that you may have missed due to bugs in previous versions. Use as a last resort or if you know you have already missed something.
    Known Bugs:
    • Bike sprite will have a few stray pixels above the player until the screen is updated (map transition, opening start menu) when follow Pokemon is active
    • Some Berry Tree palettes are incorrect
    • PP resets after every battle, but not upon reviving a fainted Pokemon
    • Sometimes when your lead party member faints or is swapped out, the sprite will disappear and you may get stuck.
      • I'm aware of this bug, but I can't seem to replicate it on a consistent basis. In the meantime, when this occurs, use the debug menu (Start + R)->Utilities->Fly to Map to reset your position at the nearest town that you've unlocked.
    Thanks for playing everyone!

For some reason when I try to apply the patch it says that there is a ROM mismatch. I have tried a base rom from ROM Heaven and the Trashman ROM. Any clue on what base Emerald version I need to use?

Yes I was just having the same issue! I usually use Vimm's Lair's ROM of Emerald, but there was a copyright strike so it was taken down for the moment. I was wondering if it was the ROM I was using or maybe something with the files uploaded...?

Yeah I had the same issue, I tried a few different base roms, but they all shared the same crc32 and resulted in mismatch.

    Hello

    mynameisPooky

i'm enjoying your rom so far. Do you have any plan for the future? (updates) or do you consider this project complete (except for bugfixes)
Great question! I'd consider it complete. There's a few things I would do differently if I were to make this again, but I'm working on some other projects that I'm more interested in at the moment. So other than bug fixes, I'd say new feature development is finished. Thanks for asking! I will say, the github is updated and the code is public, so if anyone has changes they'd like, they're free to submit pull requests and I'll review them.

I don't know if this is somewhat of a spoiler, but I'm trying to find Mew using the hint on the notebook in your bedroom. The note reads:

"The legendary Mew is thought to live on a faraway island. Sometimes parents give their children tickets to go there."

I cannot, for the life of me, think of where this might be. I spent so long going from island to island just looking in case it was there. Any help would be appreciated!

I'll mark it as a spoiler for those who don't want it spoiled :)

Mew is an event Pokemon that lives on Faraway Island. You can get there by taking the Old Sea Map to Lilycove City's Harbor. I believe your rival's mom should give that to you. In fact, each of the 4 parents in the game will give you a key item that allows you to travel to the event locations that are usually inaccessible. If you've already talked to each parent and haven't received the key items (map, ticket, etc.) then you can get the "fixer" NPC in Littleroot to give them to you.

THANK YOU!! I was also wondering about the Eon Ticket because I don't recall getting that from my dad after the Elite Four. I was wondering if maybe my key item bag was full (pre patch) and maybe I missed it. Thank you for the hints! There's just so many cool little details in this ROM :)

P.S. Sorry, I'm new on this site so I don't know how to mark my response as a spoiler... Hopefully I do this right!
