Can somebody help me please? I really like to play this hack, but my visual boy advance displays a white screen after I've opened the patched rom. Does anybody know why this happens?
The NUPS patcher says it can't patch the Fire Red rom I downloaded so I chose for the option "ignore". Could this be the reason?

Try patching with FireRed v1.1. When I did with v1.0, I also got a blank screen.

Amazing job, man. Your hack seems to have incredible potential and is already very impressive as it is.

I do have a few suggestions to make, if you're game. For one, you might want to change the tileset of the game - maybe go for a custom tileset, a HG/SS style tileset or a B/W style tileset. It would make the hack seem newer and more 'changed' and 'different' from the vanilla FireRed Version. While you have added new tiles in some places, the game generally looks just like FR/LG, and though this may not bother some people, it kinda makes the game feel less original IMHO. Secondly, you may want to give Regigigas a few buffs (maybe a fakemon Mega Evo or Primal Reversion form) to make this game more unique, and make Regigigas itself a tougher foe.

I would like the tileset to be change as well, but the game is still original with the tileset, but I see what you mean. And Regigigas don't need a Primal form, I don't think. lol I haven't been playing it, and I haven't gotten that far, so Idk. But it does need some other form.

Is Oppos bugged? I battled him and won, and my Pokemon gained multiple levels, but when the battle ended they were all on the same levels they started at, as though they didn't gain any experience. I wouldn't have even noticed except that one evolved after the battle, but when I checked the Pokemon menu it was still unevolved. I've tried multiple times and this is consistent each time. Is this a bug, or is the experience turned off on purpose (or have I done something else wrong)?

Other than that, this hack is great so far! I'm impressive by the stability, this is the only (possible) bug of any kind I've encountered.

Spent all day yesterday playing through this, really great work man.

I actually found myself speaking to everyone, doubling back to every area I'd already been, always on the look out for any secrets. First time I've become this engrossed in a hack since Sienna. Looking forward to the next release, even if I have to part ways with my Golett, I'm sure it'll be worth it :P

    Hi Spherical Ice,

I've followed all the instructions the README.txt provides me: I've applied the UPS patch file to the FireRed rom by using NUPS.exe. However, when I open the patched rom file from my desktop, visual boy advance displays a white screen. Do you know why this happens?

I'm really looking forward to play this hack. The screenshots I've seen look amazing!
Are you sure you set the save type on your emulator to 128k? I suggest using VBA-M, too, if you're not already.

I cannot even begin to describe how awesome this hack is. And the new visual assets? Stunning. Story looks compelling to boot. 11/10 would play until the end of time. ALL ABOARD THE HYPE TRAIN.
    Thanks!

Hey there! This is a pretty great game so far. There's a lot of attention to detail, and I like how you made it worth our time to talk to everyone. There's a great assortment of Pokémon, too.

Things seem pretty stable, but I have run into one glitch in Frostbite Cavern, right after the cutscene plays when you get to the end of the first ice floor segment. If you take one step forward from where you end up, something invisible seems to spawn in where you were before. You can try to walk into it and collide with it just fine but if you try to examine it the controls seem to lock, forcing you to reset. I don't know if it's an issue with just my game or not.

At any rate, thanks for making. It's been fun so far and I look forward to seeing this completed.
Thank you. I've since fixed that bug, but it can be avoided by not interacting with the glitch tile in the mean time.

Hey Specific Ice, I've been playing your ROM Hack for the past few days. I've been amazed by the changes that you've implemented in here.

I beat Sid and I got 4 badges now,

Not to mention that I have over 100 Moomoo Milks and Lava Cookies!
And the Valloon Gym is locked and I want to know if the leader is in the Nemesis Cave.

I have a bug to report.
When I Encountered Aipom, it had Totodile's Cry.

I'm very amused how you managed to get the Gen 4-6 cries on there.

I'm making a hack myself that's called Pokémon Urban Platinum. It has a few freezes and text changes and some encounter changes as well. It's from a Randomized Platinum ROM.

Anyways, I love your hack and keep it up!
    ~Jose C.
P.S What does ASM mean? Animal School Musical?
Thank you, I'm glad you're having fun! Vernon is indeed in Nemesis Cave. I'll have to look into the thing regarding Aipom's cry. ASM stands for assembly, which is a low-level programming language used to make machine code readable for humans.

So um, i beat the 2nd gym, and nobody gives me the TM/HM for Rock Smash, where do you get it?

    :) Thanks

    I'm 92%/100% from getting a Gallade
Spoiler: Location of Rock Smash in Beta 2
Defeat Akuto in Sabulo Island to get HM06.

This will actually be one of the things changed for Beta 3.

Dang Specific Ice, I just got that shiny Timburr for nothing. :(
I'm sorry about that, but the changes in Beta 3 are for the better, I promise! You could always hack in a shiny Timburr on your own, too.

I have a glitch that after i defeat my rival for the 1st time and walk into the cave the game restarts could you fix that please
I think I worked out the cause of this bug, and it's fixed for the next release. In the mean time, players should go into the Pokémon Center after defeating their rival before going into Archan Tunnel for the first time.

This seems awesome ;). Good luck on next BETA!
    Thank you!

So, i beat all the 5 gym leaders, and i'm at telmurk and i'm apparently at the end of the game..
It's sad because i LOVED this hack, my favorite part is how you actually implemented the Pokemon as themselves! Not pokemon taken out for Gen 4/Gen 5/Gen 6 Pokemon!

What's also sad is that i never got infernape :(

But, this hack was amazing, also i would like it if you made a beta without mega evolution to make it compatible with beta 2 saves!

    thanks!

But this was a great hack, and i loved playing through it, as soon as my Kirlia evolved into Gllade and learned Psycho Cut, it just destroyed EVERY SINGLE POISON OR FIGHTING TYPE.

    Thanks! :D
I'm glad you enjoyed the beta. To clarify, Beta 3's incompatibility with Beta 2 is not necessarily because of the Mega Evolution feature itself, but more so because I've already done a lot of rearranging with the earlier game events to accommodate Mega Evolution, but also for other reasons which I'll show off later on in this post. But yeah, sorry.

I have a really stupid question, but where can I find a Ralts cause i really really want one?
Spoiler: Where to find Ralts in Beta 2
Ralts can be found in the Emerald Caverns.

Like I said earlier in this post, are you sure you've set your emulator's settings to the save type of Flash 128k? Use VBA-M, too.

This looks cool. I might download it.
    Thanks.

Thank you! I don't plan to deviate drastically from the current overworld art style I've got. I may consider buffing Regigigas, but for now it will be as it is in OR/AS. I'll make sure the fight is a challenge, though!

Yes, Oppos is bugged. This will be fixed for the next release. Thank you for the feedback!

The Mega Evolution ?it is great!when did you add it?
Thank you! Mega Evolution was only added a few weeks ago, so won't be accessible until the next release.

The next release won't be for some time I would imagine.

    Thanks.

Spoiler: Location of Rods in Beta 2
You can obtain the Old Rod from a Fisherman in Celanto Condiminiums in Celanto Town when you show him a party of six Pokémon.

You can obtain the Super Rod from a Fisherman in the Windmist Knick-knack Store when you show him a Slowpoke.

Part of the updates I've been doing has involved adding an entire new sequence to the earlier parts of the game. In the next release, instead of finding the Tablet in the first part of Archan Tunnel you traverse through, it's instead in a second entrance in Seros Village. To access it, players must Cut down some trees, first. This leads to a small diversion which involves fighting the new first Gym Leader of Orbtus, Fernando. He uses Fairy-type Pokémon, and is quite the petulant child. This also sees the inclusion of two new areas, Seros Path and Wisp Forest, both to the west of Seros Village.

In Wisp Forest you can find the various sizes of Pumpkaboo, as well as other Ghost-, Grass- and Bug-type Pokémon!

The Mighty Mightyena events which previously took place in Sabulo Island in Beta 2 now take place in Telmurk City, with the gang of thugs running the city's casino and generally being mean guys.

I've also added some new items to the game:

    Pokémon Gaia Version
    Pokémon Gaia Version

The Pink Bow acts like a Silk Scarf for Fairy-type moves, and is actually an item which was obtainable in the Gen. 2 games but, for some reason, removed. The Gas Mask is a key item which grants access to Telmurk Swamp, due to its increased noxious gases.

Thanks to Christos for the Wisp Forest tiles, diegoisawesome for help with the Game Corner graphics hacking, and to MrDollSteak for discussing the new events of the hack as well as helping me figure out how to implement the Pink Bow and just generally listening to me ramble.

Good to know I wasn't doing something wrong. I was really blown away that you managed to implement Inverse Battle!

New screenshots look amazing! Especially impressed by the custom Game Corner graphics, never seen that before!

Thanks! The Inverse Battle implementation is done by DoesntKnowHowToPlay, documented here. I just realised this wasn't listed in the credits, so I've added it.

This looks great! I'm gonna try it out soon. :)
    Thanks!

i really like this hack but i dont like the new attacks also why is disarming voice called charming cry
Thank you. Some of the Generation 6 moves, like Disarming Voice and Petal Blizzard, have names which exceed the Gen. 3 character limit for moves, and so have been renamed. Charming Cry and Petal Storm are the new names for the examples I've given. It's unfortunate you don't like the new moves, but they are a key part of the modernisation of the battle engine and, in my opinion, make raising Pokemon and the actual battles far more interesting and varied.

Due to the first Gym Leader, Fernando, running off and refusing to give your Badge, I decided it was slightly similar to the fifth Gym, which I wasn't very happy with anyway. Therefore, I introduce the new Telmurk City Gym!

That's right, it takes place in the sewers! Players must step on buttons to open and close certain gates, eventually leading to the Gym Leader, Sid. Sid, like Vernon and all Gym Leaders after the third Gym, has a Mega Ring which he uses to Mega Evolve his Venusaur!

I don't know if this is a bug, but when I was training my Eevee to become a Sylveon. My Eevee was a boy and then after it evolved into a Sylveon it turned into a girl. I didn't know that evolving cause gender switch but its a cool feature if you made certain evolution gender specific.

    Subtle tree is subtle.

That gym looks really good though!

I'm interested in seeing Megas in every subsequent Gym Battle, it definitely shows its more or less the mid-point of the story with the increased difficulty.

Hoping for some wild Bulbasaur somewhere too! Maybe Nemesis Cave? Speaking of which, that name is really quite edgy, I was really expecting some evil team shenanigans.

On that note, if you want me to dummy up some sprites for the evil team just let me know! Maybe with some specific design things you're looking for.
