    Short Introduction:
    My name is ♠εx. Some of you should know me by now, but for those who don't, I have had a few previous hacks before, one I gave up on and the others were "dodgy" roms. I am not very experienced at hacking even if it does look like it. I'm going to try create a few new scripts in this game. Not many would bother to read this, so lets get started!

    Hack Name: Golden Flames Version.
    Hack of: Pokemon FireRed (U).
    Theme: Completely New Storyline.

    Hacking Team:
    ♠εx - Mapping, Scripting, Graphics & Spriting.
    Esmas - Spriting, Scripting.

    Main Storyline:
    It is your tenth birthday, you are now fully ready to receive your first Pokemon. But theres one problem. The Professor is located out on Route 1, so how are you supposed to get there? You go next door to your rivals house and ask him if he can help you, but the only person there is his Mother. She tells you to just walk over there because there is minimal grass. When you reach the route, Prof. Nile comes and guides you to his laboratory. You get to choose your first pokemon. Which one shall it be?

    # Treecko.
    # Torchic.
    # Mudkip.

    New Region:

    The Region of Keane, a region full of forests and small lakes. It has many land features such as mountains. But watch out, many new Pokemon are found in this region. But you'll have to play it to find out.

    New Hero:

    Go through this region with the new Hero, Kenta from GSC. He's got some new clothes though... Check the screens to find out!

    New Heroine:

    Play as the new Heroine, Dawn from Diamond and Pearl.

    New Rival:

    Challenge your new rival many more times! Challenge the rival from Diamond and Pearl!

    New Graphics:
    A few new palettes will be inserted into this game. When beta v.01 is released, i'm hoping to have some good palettes in there!

    Diamond/Pearl Pokemon:
    I'm hoping to insert some Diamond/Pearl Pokemon by beta 2. There wont be many but I know some people will like it.

    New Rivals/Sidequests:
    I'm going to have alot more re-occuring characters in this game. Plus there will be alot more Sidequests, maybe including Oak and some rivals from other games. But i'll have to see about that.

    Legendary Pokemon:
    I'm hoping to have some more Legendary Pokemon events, but this will only happen when most of the events are done.

    • Looks alright. I'm glad I didn't use your rom-base. I'm just wondering why you used Dawn and Barry but not the male trainer. Well anyway, Good luck with this.

    hey, this hack is looking really good, but i sugest u get another hero OW, don't like that one very much.

    PS:how are u going to insert the new d/p pokemon?I'm trying to do it too...:P

    • In the OW sprite when he looks down he looks balding. The hack looks good. You didn't tell us much about the main story. You just said stuff about the game BEFORE you get pokemon. Also, is anyone getting horrible load times on the images? I thing your host might be slow. Maybe if you could load the Images to the shack or the bucket that would help out?

    Guess you quit your other projects? Oh, and the overworld sprite of Gold is pretty good... except it doesn't match his actual palette's appearance.

    The new tiles are great! Just hope to see more.
    By the way, how would you index Diamond and Emerald (Dawn and Barry) if they are too big? Eh, I think it's not much of a problem.

    • Another FR hack awww man TT_TT....jk not to judge but the map looks like pkmn e/r/s map split up o.o also when the see ends and the land begins from isle 2=1 is indiciferable (yes i bought a word of the day callender =O)

    • Could I apply for a scripter and spriter?
    Just ask a lot of the people on PC and they'll tell you that I'm good at spriting. (and a bit of scripting.)

    I'll answer some questions.

    1 - I don't plan on changing the OW, maybe just edit the palette a bit.
    2 - The grass tile that looks like R/S/E is supposed to be there.
    3 - The storyline is supposed to be like that, i'll add more when I release betas.
