I also played it on the ROM but it annoyed me very quickly so I stopped playing it before I even reached Brock.

  • never played it were can i find it?

Google it. We're not allowed to link people to ROMs here.

Anyway, I haven't played it but I would LOVE to. I absolutely love old sprites, especially Green Version sprites. Yes, I'm weird. I've seen a few videos of it lol. The attacks are named all crazy.

  • Is there such thing as a good Green translation? All I know about are the crappy translations.

Haven't played it, and I'm not going to either.

Here's my question: Is the pirated version of Green the original version of Green?

I remember playing the ROM of the supposed English translation of Green a couple of times. Needless to say, I found it to be very buggy.

I played the "english translation" of pokemon green and I mean come on who came up with this translation? Tackle is called "go all out" and growl is "chirp".

  • I've played it on ROM and I think its funny. I've heard that all 150 Pokemon are available to catch in this version; you don't even have to trade anything. I really wanted to make it to the Unknown Dungeon since it's an apparent challenge and nightmare to get through.

Yeah... Does anyone know who translated it?

I don't, but whoever did translated the Japanese word-from-word so it ended up not making sense... well, at least remotely. I'll be grateful to the person who actually translates it correctly.

That's because in the original japanese red and green the unknown dungeon is completely different to japanese blue (which is what american red/blue is based upon). They then changed the design AGAIN for yellow. So that's three different unknown dungeon designs.
