About Theta Quartz

Pokémon Theta Quartz is at its core, an attempt to make a pokemon game as open world as possible. Bask into the glory of the Enhet region with mechanics previously unheard of in a pokemon fangame such as complete online compatibility and a regional coronation league whilst still keeping in the ever-popular gym challenge.
In a world shaken by the chaos and tension between humans and pokemon, who will you side with? Or will you be the voice of reason….

Features

Open World

Spoiler:

The main idea behind Theta Quartz is the Open World-ish nature.
Players are freely allowed to explore and progress the game however they feel, without being restrained by a plot.
They can challenge gyms in any order (or not challenge them at all) and move through the story at their own pace.

Level Balancing

Spoiler:

With the Open World System, Level Balancing comes in to make the surrounding Pokémon scale off of the Player's party.
Every Pokémon generated (Wild Pokemon, Trainer Pokemon, etc.) has a level scaled off of the Player's Party.
Wild Pokémon are normally weaker than Trainers' Pokémon.

Online Functionalities

The game has a huge amount of online functionality to offer.
From mystery gifts to trading via discord and recieving news updates, It's all possible.

Transfer System

Spoiler:

One of the main, big things in the Online Functionality is the Transfer System.
You can connect your game to your discord account, and transfer your Pokémon from game to discord and vice versa!
You can access your Pokémon from a especially-built Discord Bot (only available in the official server for security reasons) - Rotobot!
After transferring Pokémon to your discord account, You can trade them with your friends, and win more special and limited Pokémon from giveaways (on the official discord server for Theta Quartz).

Plugin System

That's right, a Plugin System. It allows you to code custom plugins for the game and download pre-made ones from other users!
The Plugins are created in RGSS (Pokémon Essentials uses), You can modify and tweak many in-game features and data.
You can change Trainers' Data, wild Pokémon to events that trigger when you're whited out (and more.)
Note: You can't use Online Functionalities in the same save you added a Plugin to (to maintain a fair environment).

Following Pokémon

This feature originally introduced in HGSS (Yellow just had Pikachu) is a fan-favorite feature. Travel along with your Pokémon!

Quest System

Want a break from the storyline and do some side quests? There's also a Quest System.
A very simple yet efficient feature.

Regional Coronation

Spoiler:

While keeping in the good ol' Gym Challenge, A Regional Coronation has been implemented into the game, It's similar to the one you see in Pokémon Journeys.
You battle trainers who are also registered in the Regional Coronation and earn points, with those points you climb up classes - Normal Class, Great Class, Ultra Class, etc - as you beat trainers.
Once you're in Master Class, You get to participate in a single-elimination tournament with the Top 8 Trainers in the entire region, if you manage to win you earn the title of Strongest Trainer in the region.

Wild Area

Spoiler:

An archipelago where you can catch rarer, stronger Pokémon which reside on the islands mostly uninhabited by people.
There are different islands for different varities of Pokémon, Gotta catch 'em all.

Rotobot - A Discord Bot part of Pokémon Theta Quartz

Spoiler:

All the online functionalities(including trades) are done via Rotobot - A Bot made for Theta Quartz.
Rotobot is only available on Theta Quartz' Discord Server.

The game takes place in the region of Enhet! The region's map is based on Sweden. This region is located north of what used to be the Sinnoh region.
