This was a very entertaining (and time consuming) April Fool's game.
I found Mew with the help of the internet. It's at -4.6703, -64.3479. Or at least it is right now. I gather it moves around a lot so who knows where it might be.

I HATE APPLE!!!!!!!!!!!! MY PHONE IS A 4S WITH IOS 7. AND LOOK! 4S IOS 7 CUSTOMERS CANNOT CONNECT TO WIFI! AT ALL. NOPE. ZIP. NADA. WHEN I TOOK IT TO APPLE, THEY SAID, PAY 200 DOLLARS OR GO ON WITH NO WIFI, A "HARDWARE PROBLEM".
THANK YOU APPLE FOR DASHING MY DREAMS OF WORKING AS A POKEMON MASTER AND KICKING MY SOCIAL FREEDOM TO THE CURB.
