Chapter 1
Introduction..
The planet Poké.Clam. Peaceful. Serene. At least, it was. Before the dark
times.
Before......Mewtwo.
The story begins several years ago,when the planet was a glistering paradise.The pokémon,the only inhabitants of the planet,were more evolved than the pokémon that were on the planet Earth.Since there were no humans to try and capture them on the planet,the pokémon made a society,going so intellegent that they created an almost human civilization.However,there was a problem.The king of the planet,a mew,was becoming old,and didn't expect to live much longer.Since he never married,he had no children,thus,he had no heir to the throne.So,he went to his witch,a Jynx,for help.
The Jynx had created a new device-a cloning machine.It would create a perfect replica of the pokémon being cloned.There were two tubes-one that the normal pokémon got into,and another tube that the clone took shape and emerged from.The downside was that the normal pokémon wouldn't survive the cloning-so much data has to be taken for a full clone,that the normal pokémon has no bones,no organs,no nothing.The normal pokémon would turn into a pile of gloop.
The king mew didn't care for such a thing,however-he wasn't going to live much longer anyhow.He had the jynx set it up so that it would make a younger(try 30 years old)clone of himself.The king got in,and closed his eyes.The Jynx activated the machine.On cue,a beam of white energy shot down from the tube the king was in and engulfed him in it,sapping up the energy.It took the life force from the king and send it to the other tube,where a new pokémon began to take shape.Seconds later,the king was a pile of gloop,and the tube with the clone slid open,allowing it to step it.
The Jynx gasped in horror.The clone didn't look a thing like the former king at all.Instead,it looked totally different-a totally different pokémon(take a wild guess!).The clone looked at the Jynx.A wicked smile appeared across it's face.Suddenly,it's eyes lit up a deep blue.The Jynx was surronded by a bright blue hue.Suddenly,the Jynx was flown into the tube where the former king had stood.The tube slid down.The clone pressed a few buttons,setting the machine to make a clone of the exact age as the Jynx.Seconds later,the original Jynx was no more.The clone,for some reason totally black with red stripes on it,stepped out.The clone of the knig smiled.
The king's clone began to lure other pokémon into the cloning machine,and ordered the Jynx clone to make other cloning machines.Soon,the king's clone had a formidable army of clones.Finally,the king's clone ordered to attack the planet.However,there was one thing standing in the clone's way-mews.At the time,25% of the planet's population were mews.Using their psychic powers,they easily wiped out the the clone of the former king's army.However,when they tried to attack the head clone,they found it was too powerful.Soon,all but two mews were dead.
The last two mews-a father mew and his 5-year old daughter,were thrown into a small prison with other normal pokémon prisoners.Several clones set up a cloning machine,and began to clone the prisoners.When they got to the father mew,however,he did something incredible-when he was put into the normal pokémon tube,he performed Psychic,causing the machine to start to blow and creating an escape route for his daughter and the other prisoners.The cloning machine blew up,destroying the facilty and all the clones in it.However,there was a price-the father mew didn't survive.His anguished daughter swore vengence against the clone of the former king,not realizing that she would become a huge deciding factor in the fate of the planet.
The clone of the former king,now known has Mewtwo,replaced the area where the pokémon had originally lived with a dark,metal city-Mewtwotropolis.Ruling from his citadel in the exact center of the city,Mewtwo used his dark psychic powers to cast a spell over the planet,blocking out the sun over most places,destroying all the remains of what once a wonderful paradise,and withered 57% of the trees.He polluted the oceans,and put the planet into turmoil.What Mewtwo didn't realize,however,is that his reign of tyranny over the planet Poké would not go undaunted.Thus igniting the greatest battle in the history of Pokémon ever.No humans.No rules.A battle for survival.
