    • Hey all, this is my hack idea. Need help with it, all help accepted!
    But instead of that, you can just have a look...

    Thread Rules

    2. Don't be afraid to express your opinion. I don't want any heavy crap, but if you have
    any ideas I could use, spill!
    3. I'll change this thread later, so don't be disappointed if you don't like the idea. I'll change it later.


    Hack of: Fire Red

    Story: You are a young trainer in the Xantus (pronounced "Zantus") region,
    and you really want to start your Pokemon adventure, but you can't get your
    hands on a Pokemon. One day, you've decided you've had enough, and
    ask your town's professor, Yew, if he has any Pokemon you could have
    to start your adventure. He says yes, and tells you that he has
    three Pokemon you can choose from, even though your rival gets
    one too. Gym leaders. Elite Four. Badges. Rival trainers. Dream come true!
    But not all is fun and games. Rumors are floating about that the nefarious
    TEAM DARK have returned to Xantus, and are after the legendary Pokemon,
    DILAKKKA, a failed experiment. Can you stop the villains? And if you do, can
    you capture DILAKKA and put an end to this madness? Only one thing is for
    sure... it won't be a walk in the park.



    Features:


    • New Region! (Xantus)
    • All new Pokedex including old and new Pokemon!
    • New maps and levels; New Gyms, Elite Four area and more!
    • Re-appearing; Ho-oh, Lugia, Suicune and more!
    • New legendaries, such as Dilakka and Dilmatrode.

    this is just pokemon ruby but with other stuff like pokemon

    Well, this is just my starting idea. When I get more tools and help, I'll change it

    You're going to have to research on your own, unfortunately. No offense, but you sound like a real novice to this whole thing, so I think you might want to hold out on a game for now. Get some ideas together on paper and post it here later. =]

    Actually, that's what I'm doing :-)

    After all, this is the Scrapbox, not the Hack Showcase. I can post here
    anyway.

    But thanks for the advice. It's good to see everyone isn't obsessed with
    bringing me down... <:-D

    Now, everyone who's viewed this thread knows I need
    help with this hack. All help is accepted, and yes, I
    know I should post this in the Team Discussions forum,
    but when I try to post stuff there it doesn't work, so I'll
    say it here. I especially need help with changing the
    title screen, sprites, and music, mainly because most
    of my tools only work with R/S. Yeah, I know.
    It's painfully sad. But if people stop bugging me,
    and start HELPING me instead, then maybe I'll stop
    acting like a washed out comedian and I'll leave most
    of my newly found worst enemies alone.

    I think that every hack it's interesting, because it's NEW, a word that Nintendo doesn't seem to know. About this hack, it would be nice to have new tiles and something different than "Beat the villains-Win 8 badges-beat the Elite Four" storyline, maybe something focused on catching the legendaries like Pokemon Raptor.
    About your help request, i'm not good at scripting and the other things too.

    Also, I need a way to change the Trainer sprites. Can you do it with PET or something?

    Probably not. Anyway, anyone got a tool I could use? Please???

    • Sort of disappointed how every hack has the same thing over and over.(no offense.) This sounds like a regular Pokemon Game, with side events. Like the main focus is badges, elite 4, etc.

    The Main Focus is should be rather on to stop the villains, while on another quest to get badge. not the other way. XD.

    [You're a boy from Xantus and eagerly await for a pokemon. Everyday is a struggle to recieve one. One day he visits the professor and will get your first. But since your rival is a jealous person. he recieves one as well. Your Story is to become the greatest.]

    Well I might be able to script for this hack, but I'm not verry good at story making (or scripting I'm just begining) so somone will have to tell me what to script (nothing too fancy, like I said I'm just begining) so I guess pm me what you want me to do and i'll give it a shot (that is if im on the team).

    Edit: As you are ignoring me should I take it im not on the team?
