Pokemon General Poll # 13 - Least / Most Favourite Generation V Pokemon?

So, what would you say is your most / least favourite pokemon in Generation V? What pokemon is your least favourite? Any reasons why?

Herdier by far is my favourite, loving the design, the animation, the name...sorta, idk I love dog Pokemon generally, so it's awesome overall. :3

On the other hand, Crimgan, while having awesome Dream World art, is easily my least favourite. Ugly design which just looks awkward when animated AS WELL AS looking awkward in the anime from the screenshots I have seen... assuming that it was in the anime and I didn't make it up. Oh wait, yeah, the actual name being Druddigon, wutevs! It doesn't deserve my love.

If I had too choose one it would be Bisharp. It just looks so badass, I know some people don't like Human Like pokemon oh well it's still better then most based off animals imo. Aside from the awesome looking design it's got a unique Typing albeit there is 4 times damage done too it by Fighting which is quite a commonly used Type(or at least moves). Close seconds would be Braviary(go Team America!), Haxorus(Dragon with a Axe Face, pretty cool if you ask me), Volcarona(probably one of the best if not the best Bug pokemon design I have ever seen)

For me there is no doubt it my mind which two pokemon I dislike the most. Trubbish & Garbodar. There trash bags for heavens sakes >_> just what I want a trash bag mon. They too me are some of the worse designs ever, I usually grow on about ever pokemon but I don't think I will ever like these two. Inb4 all the haters of Vanillite and Litwick lines(they are too sexy haters gonna hate what can I say)

Loved the name haha, same as Dewott!
I've come to like them ever since and by now I find them rather cute :3

My favourit one would probebly be Purrloin/Liepard. Simply because I love cats and I love purple <3
Though there are quite a few that I like.. I also like Emolga.. i generelly seem to like these little elec ones.. Pikachu and co. <3
I also like most of the new dragons!

Sadly - this gen had many that I did't like AT ALL >.<
There are some that I like less but - it's not like you have to like every Pokémon. Everyone has a different taste.
But some of them seemed kind of rediculous to me D:
I don't get why they make Pokémon resembling "mand made" things. Or human-ish Pokémon. A voltorb for example - at least they explained why it looks like a Pokéball.. its cause iteats them. But they started coming up with Pokémon that simply remind me too much of man made things u_u
Like my boyfriend once said: "Next Pokémon gen will have a chair with eyes." - I wouldnt even be surprised D:

Throw/Sawk - well as I said.. I don't like Pokemon that are too human >.<"
Vanilitte+evos - Ice cream? D:
Foongus - Its actually quite cute but... why the Pokeball head..?


There are a few more of that kind but I didn't want to complain too much about them =,=~

Overall I think they made some great new Pokémon as well. I often hear from former fans that the new Pokemon are stupid. I think thats cause they only look at the stupid ones ;3

I love Herdiers animation! Specially when they lean forward and waggle their tail! I'm not a too big fan of its evo though >.<
Crimgan has a nice design overall but the red head always seemed to fall out of line for me O.O I think I will train one anyway though... will see :3

Bisharp doesn't seem too human to me. It kind of reminds me a bit of a Scizor. I quite like both of them :3
And yes, I can only agree on the garbage ones D: ... the first still seems ok to me but... the evo - meh >-<

I was alluding to the Human Like/Humansphere Egg Group. If anything it looks like Gallade to me.

I don't really want to explain all of them, but I just really love all these guys :D

Least Favorites:

Too lazy to post sprites, but the entire Timburr line. I just don't like 'em, though I do admit they're better than the Machop line.

Generation 5 has some of the coolest Pokes ever!

I love them all, but there are a few exceptions.

Faves:

Oshawott/Dewott/Samurott: I went "awwww" when I first saw this guy. Dewott and Samurott are awesome! My fave Pokemon ever, see my avatar and signature.

Gothita/Gothorita/Gothitelle: My fave Psychic-types - I just love Gothitelle's design.

Emolga: Cute Electric/Flying type.

Petilil/Lilligant: A girly Grass-type Pokemon (she is female only).

Tepig/Pignite/Emboar: Most people don't like its Fire/Fighting type being repeated for a starter but they are cool.

Snivy/Servine/Serperior: Grass snake, need we say more?

Minccino/Cinccino: So fluffy!

Pansear, Panpour, Pansage and their evos: They are monkeys and I love monkeys.

Reshiram and Zekrom: Cool designs!

Deino/Zweilous/Hydreigon: Badass dragons! Love them!

Elgyem/Beheeyem: Aren't these guys so cute!

And these are the ones I didn't like so much...

Darumaka/Darmanitan: Terrible design.

Garbodor: When I first saw him, I just went ewww, Trubbish is OK though.

Tornadus, Thundurus and Landorus: They are just "carbon copies" of each other. BORING.

Tynamo/Eelektrik/Eelektross: Nice ability but hate their design.

Archen/Archeops: Nice design but WORST ABILITY EVER. Curse you Defeatist!

Patrat/Watchog: Cute but not so good attackers.

Dislikes:
Garbordor(its trash,literally),Throh,Sawk(pokemon wearing clothes?do they just find karate outfits in nature?),Vanillite(ice cream pokemon?enough said...)Chandelure(A pokemon lamp...too oriiginal)
I must say designers did a pretty bad job this gen hopefully they arent getting worse,I grew to like every other generation but i dont see too much love getting to gen 5.

Overall compared to the other generations id rate gen 5 a 2 stars D:
didnt enjoy it...why cant they make awesome pokemon like they did in gen 1?I guess orginality gets lost after 600+ pokemonzzz

Smugleaf and Dewott... a pot smoking snake with limbs, and a freaking samurai otter... almost as cool as Seaking.

I looooove Dwebble's design, but Volcarona is my favorite. So so strong and a great design and Larvesta is so cute and omgomgomg I love it so much. /gush

Least favorite? Hard question...Prooooobably Druddigon. There are so many other Dragon types that are so much better and its design is just so unappealing.

Most favorite Cofagrigus and then Chandellure
Reason Because they are Ghost types. But besides them being Ghost types, the designing of the two are amazing and I love to draw them.

Least Favorite I'm going to stop picking on the Psychic type Pokemon right now, so my least favorite is Emolga[/B]
Reason: Because its a 5th generation of Pikachu. It's a clone and I cannot stand it when it uses Volt Swich, the move haunts me in my sleep

Haxorus and Escavalier and Scrafty are probably my favorites, although tbh I really really like almost all of the designs of the fifth gen anyway. I don't think there are any I really dislike, although I wish there would have been a few better ones (like Maractus - probably the most forgettable of all Unova Pokémon, imo).

Genosekt is also probably tied for my favorite legendary with Groudon, even if it isn't released yet. ;_____;

Favorite Gen V Pokemon: Excadrill (its ability to fold itself into a drill reminds me of how Rocket Warrior (from Yu-Gi-Oh) folds itself into a rocket)

Least favorite Gen V Pokemon: Garbodor, Druddigon, Stunfisk (they're ugly)

WELL I LOVE EMOLGA!!!!! Because it is both cute and strong!

I dislike stunfisk, the mushrooms, the dark/fighting salamande, and all of the other weird and ugly pokemon.

these two pokemon brought a whole new unique typing, and with that, the best user of the new move quiver dance with the best stats to use it. volcarona can be really powerful, and I think is just all around amazing. larvesta is cute as well.

ewwwwwwwwww. grotesque. and what makes it worse? people only like it because it's ugly! it's just useless roadkill. reuniclus comes close with how overrated it is. seriously, alakazam is faster and has more power. we don't NEED it!

2 Favorites:

- Cool typing, cool design, and nifty movepool.

- I guess it might be a bit overrated. But I rate it higher than most psychic-type sweepers, because of no recoil damage from Life Orb (or any passive damage in this matter), and trick room which allows Reuniclus to exploit its poor speed to great advantage (I also like psychic types in general).


2 LEAST Favorites:

- OH THE HORROR!!!!! *pukes all over the floor*

- Alright. Slate me on this all you want, but it'll make my hate towards this thing grow even further. I believe this is one of the most overrated pokemon out of all pokemon that exist so far. When I first saw this thing I thought it was mediocre at best. And now I'm surrounded with people (PC and IRL) who just fawn over this thing, saying that it's the cutest thing that ever existed, or something like that (maybe I'm exaggerating, but just trying to make my point). Compared to Snivy and Tepig, it's just way too overrated. Way beyond my liking (Though I do have more tolerance over its evolutions, even coming towards becoming a bit cool).

I personally love Galvantula and Joltik. Ferrothorn and Bisharp are close behind, and I like Whirlipede and Scolipede. The only bugs I don't really like this gen are Leavanny, Swadloon, and maybe Durant.

However, my least favourite period is no contest. Near the top of that list is Bouffalant, a retro 70's... buffalo, which, with the afro, is not very visually appealing. Gurdurr, however, is an absolute nightmare with a bad name that's uncreative and unlovable. However, it's a visual monstrosity, and imagine running into an "unfriendly" one at night. I, for one, wouldn't enjoy being bludgeoned to death with a metal beam, nor would I like being the victim of a Pokemon that looks like it came out of an episode of The Simpsons.

Least Favorites:
Watchog - creepy + annoying with hypnosis
Alomomola - forgettable handfishthing

Also why so much dislike for Druddigon ;_; - yes, his stats are pretty terrible, but I honestly don't think it's that bad of a design. Cave-dwelling thorned lizard with rocks sprouting from back = win in my book.
