pokemon genesis problem

I keep getting an error that says "fatal" and "the rom-image has crashed", I'm using no$gba, please help

Don't use no$gba, sometimes it doesn't recognise hacks as "valid" Roms. Search "VisualBoy Advance" on google and download that, it's generally better for playing hacks.

I have a problem as well. When (i play the game on gpsp) i open the pokemon option in the menu the game restarts w/out warning.

Look at the thread, pl0x. There's plenty of people that have both reported this problem, and plenty that have repeated time and time again that you just have to wait through the black screen for a minute or two. :/
