  • Is this allowed to be here?

Anyways, IDK. It doesn't really matter, I mean, it's not posted here or anything. =\

  • If I had to wager a guess, I'd say it's a hoax. The cartridge could be photoshopped and there are no screenshots of the game because he, very conveniently, lost the cartridge. On top of that, the gameplay he was describing would be very difficult to pull off, if possible at all. So yeah, I remain unconvinced. Neat idea, though.

    I believe I can explain.

Recently I've been traveling the "Backroads" of the internet, (let me say now, alot if it is not Peachy Keen and I don't suggest anybody go there unless they are over the age of 14 and have a strong stomach) and this is a very common phenomena you have come across.

You see there is a website called "4chan" which is most famout for it's /b/ thread. On /b/ you can post any picture you want, and type anything you want in an unorganized forum like style. One of the many internet inventions of this website is called a "Creepypasta"(Prounounced Creepy-paste-a). A creepy pasta is usually a picture with an article. The two are supposed to tell a horrific story of some kind to shock and scare the reader. The term Creepypasta is used because several people simply take the text and copy and paste it onto different websites. This Creepypasta (Pokemon Ghost/Black) is one of the most popular Creepypastas. Now all people who write on 4chan are "Anonymous" so there is no way to backtrack the author and therefore no way to check if it is true. My guess is that this is 80% not true.

But this is not the only Pokemon based Creepypasta. Another one is very interesting. It is a similar plot but it involves a game of Pokemon Silver. What is really inspiring is that a group of people who saw the Creepypasta have been trying to recreate it in a hack called "Pokemon Lostsilver". To read the Pokemon Silver Creepypasta go here: https://tohjo.totalh.com/img/creepypasta.png To see the Hacking team, go here: https://tohjo.totalh.com/index.php?cmd=page/lostsilver

Anyways, I hope I could help!

I have stumbled across a few others, though most aren't as good as the two already posted.

    Here is one: https://img15.imageshack.us/img15/9372/1279338787563.jpg

    And another: https://i564.photobucket.com/albums/ss87/breloomasaurus/youkilledratty.png

This one was only text, so I've just pasted it here (its a bit violent):
    Spoiler:

This one is called Hypno's Lullaby (assumed its based on its FR Pokedex entry):
    Spoiler:

One most have read, involving Lavender Town:
    https://www.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?t=1709422

Another one about Lavender Town (read the first letter of each paragraph at the end):
    Spoiler:

The creepiest thing about the Lavender Town stories is that the original music there in Green and Red did in fact cause nausea and headaches.
    Original music:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZOd_gFld9c&feature=related

Last one (I apologize for the single use of profanity): https://img839.imageshack.us/img839/8397/1279363463936.jpg

Once again, they aren't as good as those already posted.

  • the Lavender town one with the Creepy tone related to the increase of deaths of japanese children is BY FAR the best and oldest one...
I visit 4chan a lot and believe me idve have seen if there was any better.

I spent an hour at midnight reading that, and it convinced me almost 100%.

even if not true, some of the things people conjour up could be made into a book.

    I would definately buy it!

I kinda like the Cubone-Kangaskhan one.

Those stories sound creepy yet, meh... It makes me tell how imaginative we humans can be. ^^

There was development of a hack recreating the story but it looks a bit dead.

  • come follow me, and learn that this is all FAKE. this is an example of creepy pasta, and was made as a hoax. If this were real there would be more people who would have bought this, and documented it on the internet. the only true thing is that due to binaural beats lavendar town music from the original green can cause mild stomach upset and other feelings of unease. A good example is this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MK2iLnTR9V8 while it has some fake stuff added to it, it shows that if you listen to these things long enough, they can have a effect on your emotions. I listened to it (with head phones of course) and did infact feel a little queasy, but nothing really bad.

    You don't say.
It's SUPPOSED to be fake, that's the whole point.
