FireRed hack: Pokemon Irotsuya [By Laidjon*]

Helloz, guys, and of course girls of PC. You all probably don't know me or have only seen some maps from me in the map rating topic, but I've been working some time on this hack, which I will introduce next =)

[What makes this hack an actual hack?]

Features:

• New battles
  
• New scripts
• New gyms
• New badges
• New Hero(ine)
• More than one Rival
• Team rocket!
• A new team which is good/bad (For you to guess)
• New maps (duh)

[The actual part that makes a hack a hack]

::Main character::
Finally! My very first Pokemon! It's taken a while, but I've finally managed to pursuade my parents. I can pick up my Pokemon tomorrow, which is already waiting for me in the next town, Shian Town, in the PokeLab to be precise.
Oh excuse me... I haven't even introduced myself. My name is Zeke Zuiichi. I'm 16 years old and I live with my parents in a small town in the Irotsuya Region. I can finally make my dream come true, as I, Zeke Zuiichi, am becoming a Pokemon Master!
But the route to Shian Town is full of Pokemon, so Auron is escorting me to Shian Town.

::Auron Hei::
The sole reason for me to get a Pokemon is because of one of my friends, Auron Hei(pronounce as Hey). He already has got a Pokemon, a Larvitar. Which is pretty strong, because Auron already has it for a long time. Auron has promised me that when I've got a Pokemon he would go on a journey, so he hasn't gotten any badge.

::Main story::
You, a 16 year old boy, finally begin your journey in the Irotsuya Region. Je will meet friends and rivals. Your main goal is to become a Pokemon Master, but your role in this world is more important than you can possibly imagine!

Team Rocket has set it's mind on the Irotsuya Region. Because there isn't any crime in the Irotsuya Region, Team Rocket thinks that it will be a easy job to set their evil plans in motion. But is Team Rocket the only one with this idea...?

The sreens are darker than the actual tiles. I had the option darken on in my NO$GBA.

I know that it's your hack name, but Shian is japanese for Cyan and Irotsuya means colour, so I can't change that. I have all towns named after colours. I hope that you can understand it.

Isn't that mask from phantom of the opera?
I have a keychain from there which I use (and obviously look at) every day.
Does this hack have any sort of relation to that?

Yeah, the Phantom's mask made me intrigued as well. But, yeah, mapping seems really nice. I'm not really fond of uneven wall (like in the bedrooms) unless there's really something to do with the house architecture, but guess i cannot really tell in this case. In general, the maps are very impressive, there's a good combination of tiles.

But let me ask: the storyline is pretty much similar to the original games, isn't it? Or are you saving the real stuff for the players to find out?

Yes, it's an pixel-over from that mask (Made by me of course). And yes, someway masks are related to this hack.

I know that the story is somewhat generic, but it's what you said. It's for the player to find out, but I'll give hints over time xD

English isn't my first language, so thanks for the adjustment xD.
And yes, I do think that the plot is somewhat overused, but this is just at the start of my hack. Later on you will get involved in all kind of things.

Use the "Import Movie" function in Windows Movie Maker, and save as a *.wmv file. Then you can easily put it on YouTube.

I know then player does, but your father, for example, is using Black characters when he should be using blue characters. When he was talking about Auron (SP?), I thought it was still the mysterious announcer voice (The guy who says: '[PLAYER] received X!')

But that's just me, being picky. Anyway, nice storyline, and decent maps/scripts. Good luck!

I know how that works, but only the hero(ine) talks in blue. Normal people like your Dad or Mom talk black.
