Pokemon Moonja is a fan made Pokemon game using Pokemon Essentials. The game is set in a brand new region with new Fakemon, custom tiles, items, music, characters and more!
There's a tale that tells of 5 golems spread across the islands, each of which serve as a guardian of aspects of nature. There also was a legendary Pokemon, a now forgotten deity. People of old worshipped it and at a certain point it grew power-hungry from all the praise it received. It even started creating disasters so that the people prayed even more to it. Eventually, people realized its evil and as they abandonned it, its power waned. They now prayed to the golems to seal away the evil being, and thus the golems combined their powers to create a lock.
Many years later, you are an up and coming Pokemon trainer who will be helping Professor Larch with the Xenier Region Pokedex! On your adventure you'll meet countless new creatures, friends and foes. While completeing the Pokedex, you'll also get a chance to compete in the regional Gym Challenge. Beat all 8 gym leaders and you can take it up with the strongest trainers in the Pokemon league.
However, it seems a some strange things are happening across the islands. Certain Pokemon are showing up outside of their natural habitat, disturbing the eco systems. Luckily the region has it's own Environmental Conservation Organization, Team ECO for short. They try to bring back balance to the islands. Your mom is a team ECO member who has gone on a special mission for a long time now... You shouldn't worry too much about it, she's a professional after all.
Now it's time to explore the Xenier Region and discover the adventure that awaits on the islands!
