Release Date:
US version of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Darkness and Official Nintendo locallized version of Game Guide was release on April 20. For European versions the release date is July 4. A special episode of Mystery Dungeon 2 was air on Cartoon Network at the day of releasing the game.
Details:
Both versions support Wi-Fi and Password system. Both versions' difference are only Pokemon appearing in games. Both Versions' can't trade with the main Pokemon games. You may send your team member to a friend or anyone via wireless or Wi-Fi.
Starters and Partners:
Turtwig, Chimchar,
Piplup, Bulbasaur,
Charmander, Squirtle
Treecko, Torchic,
Mudkip, Chikorita,
Cyndaquil, Totodile,
Pikachu, Munchlax,
Skitty, Meowth
Recruiting:
New features in recruiting:
-You can recruit any Pokemon as you like.
-In you can recruit Pokemon that are in final form.
-If your team is full of members in a dungeon, you can still recruit.
-Some Pokemon may join you after you finishing their quest.
-Some reward maybe eggs, Chansey will hatch them for you. The special features in these eggs is, they have egg moves. For example: The Shellos I receive has these moves Counter, Mirror Coat, Yawn and Curse.
To Recruit Easier:
-Hold Friend Ribbon or Golden Mask with you, it will increase the recruitment rate.
-High Level makes easier recruits.
-Luck, this is hard to say. But good luck in recruitings.
To Evolve:
Your allies can evolve once the credit rolls. But you and your partner can not, until both Dialga and Palkia are recruit.
Note: Both Palkia & Dialga are recruitable in both versions.
Event Dungeon:
There are eight event dungeons, in Japanese versions to obtain them, you must either use Wifi connection or insert password in the Wondermail Password section. These seven dungeons, each contain these following Legendary Boss Pokemon and items they guarded:
Dungeon Name - Legendary Boss Pokemon - Item Guarded
Sky Stairway - Rayquaza - Flying Melodica
Bottomless Sea - Kyogre - Aqua-Monica
Shimmer Desert - Groundon - Terra Cymbal
World Abyss - Giratina - Rock Horn
Mystery Jungle - Mew - Grass Cornet
Giant Volcano - Heatran - Fiery Drum
Mt. Avalanche - Articuno - Icy Flute
You can encounter these Pokemon only in these dungeons:
Treecko*, Grovyle*, Sceptile*, Ekans, Arbok, Diglett, Dugtrio, Gastly, Haunter, Gengar, Ditto.
Note: *If not chosen as starter or partner.
As the name suggests, each instrument increase each type's recruitment rate. For example: Terra Cymbal increases recruitment of Ground-type Pokemon if the player holds it
This below dungeon is one of the eight event dungeons.

- I bought Time Version.
- My team will be Team Rock-On (originally was going to use this team name, but I don't know why I named BubbleHeat).
- I'm Piplup (originally was going to be name Plupp, but I don't know why I named him AJey).
