Has anybody else noticed that there are a very low amount of threads concerning the Pokemon Ranger games on this website? I personally LOVE these games, so I was wondering how you guys feel about the Pokemon Ranger games (all 3).

What pokemon was hardest to catch for you?
The Gyarados in the first game really got me very angry

Do you think Game Freak should make one for Unova?
Sure, I would buy it but I wouldn't like it much since I really am not a fan of the Pokemon Ranger games

What do you think should be changed?
Some of the obstacles in the game like in the first one, the lab where you can't step on the red squares because that puzzle annoyed the heck out of me

What did you like about these games?
Nothing

What did you dislike about these games?
Pretty much everything

Lastly, what is your general opinion about Pokemon Ranger?
Since I am a Pokemon fan I must buy all of the Pokemon games but I think that Pokemon Ranger sucks

Low amount of threads cause they're not well liked I'm sure. :x They're my least favorite spin off, and I've only played the first one. Maybe they got better from then on, but eh, not really keen on trying. Hardest thing to catch...I think I stopped at Flygon. It was so fast lol. But yeah, I just really dislike the Ranger series. On the plus side though, the game had great music. That is all that I liked about it.

The original one. 0_0 The Steelix was evil, and the way you weren't allowed to raise your stylus killed me.

Sure why not.
What do you think should be changed?
More post-game activity. I just felt it was lacking.
What did you like about these games?
The plot (esp. in the last two) and the unique gameplay, probably.
What did you dislike about these games?
Murder on your DS.

Not the best thing ever, but it doesn't suck that much either.

I've played this game a long time ago, I really enjoyed it and I'm suprised they haven't made any more, I didn't bother playing the third one though...

Its fine the way it is I suppose.

Catching Pokemon using the Stylus, then using their powers to help you overcome obstacles.

Hard to catch Pokemon :P

I think Pokemon Ranger is a great game, addicting and fun. I hope they make more, especially for Unova, I'd buy it...

Ranger 1, only because of the plot and capture system

Guardian Signs. I didn't die or come close to it the whole storyline.

The first Ranger game, because of the capture system.

I don't remember. I think it was Flygon from the first Ranger game?

Sure! If it's good.

What do you think should be changed?
More things to do post-game, once you complete your Browser there isn't really much you can do other than the Capture Stadium, which was removed in Guardian Signs.

What did you like about these games?
I don't really know why. I just like them. :p

What did you dislike about these games?
My DS now has circle marks on the touch screen. The plot in Guardian Signs seemed kind of... lacking to me.

Lastly, what is your general opinion about Pokemon Ranger?
They're good games, but not the best ever. I still buy them because I am a hardcore Pokémon fan. :P

The duo Charizard and Salamance in the first Ranger.

Probably the concept of catching pokemons and using them to help you, not just catch them =)

What did you dislike about these games?
I'll be again talking about the first Ranger. I hated how hard it was... and since new Rangers were easier I have nothing to complain about =D

Lastly, what is your general opinion about Pokemon Ranger?
I love them =) They are very great spin-offs =)

I don't really like them; compared to other Spin-Offs. \: I played all of them too see if any were better, I'd say I enjoyed Guardian Signs the best. I disliked the first one; a lot. I also found the first the hardest and Almia. I don't really know which was hardest too catch since I can't remember. \; I guess the Lucario you face in the Ice castle? :C

My opinion on the Ranger games is that they're aren't amazingly good. They are good to play for passing time. I personally think that the 3rd Ranger was rushed. They released it too early, I think it should of been released when the 5th Gen games came out.

I got two spinoff games recently, Guardian Signs being one of them, but I didn't really like it, I only played it for fifteen minutes but that was enough for me. Plus my DS was starting to show circle scratches FIFTEEN MINUTES and the scratches started appearing! I don't care if they make one for Fifth Gen or not cause I'm not getting it either way. I can't wait for Mystery Dungeon though I'm addicted to that.

I played Pokemon Ranger: Shadows of Almia. The game was good, until I got to the giant bug thing boss. After that, I got bored because I couldn't best it.

My partner in the game was Pachirisu.

But still, the game was good aside from the fact that it was too challenging for players who aren't used to it.

Ranger was my least favorite of the spin offs. I only played the first one actually. It was alright, but I like the other spin offs like MD more. They were more fun.

The third one. It's a series that has gotten better with each instalment, as they've refined the gameplay to work better with the touch-screen interface.

Which was your least favorite?
The first, because playing it was a nightmare.

Which game do you think was easiest?
The second. After slogging through the first, the second was ridiculously simple, because the controls were better, and not having to circle the Pokemon x number of times without stopping made it a lot easier.

Which game do you think was hardest?
The first, primarily because of the having to circle the Pokemon you wanted continuosly made it harder than it needed to be.

What Pokemon[COLOR=blue !important][FONT=inherit !important][COLOR=blue !important][FONT=inherit !important][/FONT][/FONT][/COLOR][/COLOR] was hardest to catch for you?
Steelix in the first game; that was insane.

Do you think Game Freak should make one for Unova?
Only if they plan on letting you capture everything in this next game.

What do you think should be changed?
Abilities need to be more diverse, and perhaps unique to each Pokemon. I also think there should be a storage device of some sort that would allow you to summon particular Pokemon you needed (similar to the signs used in the third game) when you needed them, or a quick travel feature, so you didn't have to do so much backtracking. They also need to devise a way to make it more challenging; since the first game, they've been pretty easy.

What did you like about these games?
The concept is quite fun and it actually makes proper use of the touch screen. The only other games that really do that beyond just point and click are the Zelda titles.

What did you dislike about these games?
Difficulty...or lack thereof. These are even easier than the mainstream games, and don't match the MD series for length either. The story has always been pretty mediocre as well...and, of course, you can't catch everything, and it all feels very basic, particularly the leap between the second and third games.

Lastly, what is your general opinion about Pokemon Ranger?
I think it's a fun enough series, but it still has a ways to go before I'd consider it better than the Mystery Dungeon series.
