I apologize for taking so long, but an emergency came up. I do hope this is okay by your standards. If anything is wrong or off, please let me know, and I can make the adjustments. I've never roleplayed before, so I don't really have a sample to provide, but if you want, I can write one for you :)


Name: Marisole

Wild Human or Pokemon: Pokemon

Gender: Female

Species: Mawile

Age in human years: 15

Appearance: Marisole looks much like a normal Mawile, minus the fact that her arms and legs are not black, but are actually more of a purplish color. A large pink bow is worn around the stem of her horn, along with two smaller ones around her feet. She learned to use her horn as a storage compartment for the things she carries with her, as she finds carrying things too tedious.

Personality: Marisole is a genuinely nice Pokemon. She never wishes harm upon anyone or anything, and will go to any means necessary to protect others. This is a trait she picked up from her previous trainer, Alexandria. Marisole was raised with the utmost kindness from her trainer and the other Pokemon, and thus wishes to show the rest of the world that same kindness. However, no matter how much kindness she has witnessed and shown, she cannot deny her own anger. Her anger spins towards those who are cruel and unkind to each other. It is in those times that she abandons her own kindness to set them straight. Many choose to say that she is a hypocrite, for going against what she herself preaches.

Marisole, in a number of ways, is considered lazy. It is often that she refuses or forgets to do specific things that she either had her mind set to do or that she promised to do. Regardless, she is usually overwhelmed with guilt when she does not do these things and will often find something to make up for it, though she tends to go a tad bit overboard. She was never a fan of battling, even though Alexandria used her for the most part in battles. Marisole and another Pokemon on Alexandria's team, a Kirlia, were often used together for battles, and was the only friend aside from Alexandria that she had. Marisole has an anger towards those who force others to battle. She has no problem with battling, as long as it's a choice and not a command.

Background Story: Marisole was raised along with Alexandria, being a prominent part of her family. Alexandria's mother had found her when she was just a baby and brought her to live with them, and when it was time for Alexandria to start her journey, she was given to her. Considering the two were already close, they worked well together at the start. Alexandria caught a Kirlia not long after starting her journey and never bothered to catch any others. Many gym leaders complained that she only had two Pokemon but she didn't care, and neither did her Pokemon. Both Marisole and the Kirlia were proud to battle for Alexandria, and had no problems doing as asked. They traveled through Hoenn, failing to win the League, but continued on to the next region.

Marisole heard about what Pokemon were doing to their humans and made up her mind to protect Alexandria. However, Kirlia took the opposite approach to the situation and decided that she no longer wanted to be a part of Alexandria's team. Kirlia released Marisole from her Pokeball and then proceeded to attempt to capture Alexandria. Due to Marisole protecting her, she was unable to and, Alexandria ran away from them, Kirlia soon following after. Since that day. Marisole has not seen or heard from either of her old partners.

Name: Cyrus Wolf

Appearance:

Cyrus is five feet and ten inches exactly and is well built from years of constant training. He has a sharp jaw line with medium sized nose that has a bump in the middle and is a little flatter after the bump from being broken numerous times in fights. His face makes him look a few years younger than he actually is and almost has an innocent look to it (which he hates since it distracts from his tough guy image). He has 3 inch dark brown spiky hair with a few strands of it falling in front of his face that tend to be a little longer than the rest. His eyes are a deep ocean blue. His tanned skin has numerous scars from his many battles with both humans and Pokemon with the largest on his chest. His most distinctive scar is one crossing at a 45 degree angle right under his left eye. He also has a tattoo of a custom wolf symbol he uses.

He wears a pair of heavy duty black gi pants with red lining around the feet and waist. His shoes are blue and white and are lightweight almost completely form fitting. However they are also rather durable allowing him to use them for everyday use and for fighting. He almost always wears a black khaki jacket with a custom symbol of a wolf's head on the back that is the same as his tattoo but is red instead of black. Other than the jacket he likes to wear standard T-shirts usually in a solid dark blue or red color. He likes to wear a fancy pair of expensive sport sunglasses that are either covering his eyes or on his forehead, and surprisingly have not been broken… yet. He also wears a modified set of lightweight fingerless fighting gloves when he deems it necessary that are blood red, and by modified he added several metal studs on the back of them to give some of his punches a bit more sting. He also has a MP3 player in his jacket's right pocket which he used to listen to all the time with plain blue ear plugs until it died, and the forest he is currently in lacks a power source to charge it with so for the time being it just sits in his pocket.

Personality:

Wolf is very confident in his abilities, and takes great pride in his expert martial art skills, which translates into an ego. He has also developed a set of principles he lives by and judges others by. He feels that all Pokemon trainers who did nothing but yell orders from the side lines are weak and pathetic because they always force others to do things for them and are unwilling to do things for themselves. This tends to translate into a "better than you" attitude around former trainers along with a complete lack of respect for his fellow humans. Add this to his outward tough demeanor mixed in with his ego he doesn't have any friends.

Wolf is a stubborn, independent, and strong willed individual. He lives and fights for his views and hates to take orders from others and likes living at his own rhythm. He is willing to defend this grade of independence to his grave. When he decides to fight for something he is a relentless to achieve his goals and is willing to push himself to the breaking point.

Cyrus has witnessed the sudden powers humans gain from being in a HuBall, and he utterly despises it. This is due to the fact they were given "undeserved strength they didn't earn." Also the fact its also a symbol of their slavery. Due to this he is likely to not use the powers at first until he refines them and makes them his own if he is ever captured (which if you ask him he will tell you he never will be captured).

Cyrus in the past was very loyal to his friends and often protected him, of course this happened when he was a young kid. How he will react to anyone he happens to befriend is somewhat of a mystery since he seems to like to keep others distant due to his past "betrayals."

History:

Growing up Cyrus Perigard was like any normal kid dreaming of being a Pokemon master until he was 8 years old. At that age he discovered martial art movies and instantly became obsessed with the art of fighting. His parents, assuming it was just a short term phase, went ahead and allowed him to enroll in a local taekwondo school to learn the arts of fighting. However it wasn't a short phase and by the time he was 10 years old Cyrus didn't care to become a Pokemon trainer and just wanted to be the world's best fighter.

His parents withdrew him from the school and convinced him with the help of his friends to give pokemon training a try. Cyrus was given a Machop and sent on his way to be a trainer. However he returned a week later without a Machop and said he wanted to rejoin the school and he had released the Machop. His parents were infuriated and told him no. However Cyrus went to the school anyway, where the master of the Dojo welcomed back the most devoted student he had ever had. Cyrus returned to trainer school claiming he wanted to be a pokemon professor to fool his parents. However when he was 14 the lie was discovered, but his parents didn't try to remove him from the taekwondo or force him to stay in trainer school. Instead they just ignored his desire to be a fighter and focused on his little sister instead, who many thought would be the next Pokemon champion.

At first this was fine with Cyrus as he was allowed to train and follow his dream, but his parents wouldn't have anything to do with his dream. Slowly this ate away at him and started to make him bitter as he watched his parents attend every stupid little gym battle or event his sister did, even travelling across the region to watch. However whenever he had something come up from earning his black belt, to his first tournament his parents wouldn't even walk across town to see it. At 16 he entered his first world fighting championship, and took second place. His parents however didn't even care when he came home with his metal, instead they stayed glued to the TV watching some random pokemon match. Cyrus was sick of it… his parents ignored him, all his friends had turned their backs on him since he was the "weird karate kid who didn't want to be a trainer like everyone else," his sister liked to shove her popularity in his face, and then there were all the adults who would talk behind his back calling him a loser or a shame on his parents. The next day Cyrus left his hometown behind only saying good bye to his master.

At that point Cyrus abandoned his family and disowned himself from them by changing his last name to Wolf. Cyrus then began travelling around training at many different martial art schools and dojos. All the while fighting in illegal underground fighting tournaments, and soon he versed in many different types of martial arts. Right before the reversal Cyrus hit the pinnacle of his fighting career four months before the reversal by winning the Iron Fist Tournament, a no holds bar fighting tournament with a several million dollar prize. He used the money to open his own mix martial arts school, alongside buying a few "toys" such as his prized custom built motorcycle. He had everything he wanted, the title of a fighting champion, his own martial arts school, and, tons of money to blow on parties, women, and whatever he wanted. Despite all he now had he suddenly felt like something was missing and he wasn't satisfied despite his great success.

Before he could find what he was missing, he lost everything but his freedom. He had been completely blindsided by the event since he was rather disconnected from most of the world and never watched the news. When the first Pokemon entered his school he thought the door bell ringing meant he finally had students, but that was not the case. Instead of looking to learn from him his guests attacked him with stupid Pokeball things. He broke out of the first one (which shocked him that it actually worked on him) and then dodged the other two. Then the three Pokemon (in his words a little rat, a bigger rat, and some sort of dog) attacked him hoping to weaken him.

The Pokemon were reckless and didn't understand what they were getting into, and when the human began fighting instead of running they were taken off guard. The human capitalized on their shock and proceeded to beat the **** out of them. After the first was knocked senseless by a barrage of powerful kicks the other two started fighting back. In the end the human won using his high level of training in the martial arts and real life experience in fighting. The battered but victorious Cyrus didn't get a chance to breath when a human like pokemon with green hair attacked him. She (well Cyrus assumed it was a girl due to it having a dress) was different than the others began to toy with him and used her psychic abilities to stay out of his deadly reach. The closest he got to hitting the Gardevoir is when she threatened him with a HuBall (as Cyrus calls them) and he managed to kick it out of her hand. Strange thing is that she could have beaten him, but she didn't, and instead she ended up healing him and then letting escape to his garage where he was able to get on his bike to make his escape. The city was being overrun but his prized bike was too fast for the creatures and the other fleeing humans were much easier to catch. He had escaped... for now.

"ALL HANDS BRACE FOR IMPACT! BRACE FOR IMPACT!" screamed a frantic male voice over the intercom throughout the ship. 5 Seconds later the ship impacted the planet's surface and ship jerked horribly and the sounds of creaking metal filled the many halls of the corvette. It sounded as if the ship was going to tear apart any minute as it continued to move from pure momentum. At this point everything had gone dark except emergency lighting which bathed everything in an eerie red. Finally after what felt like hours the ship came to a halt and instantly the intercom was filled with several voices giving out orders and asking for assistance. A minute later the lights came back on and the ship turned into a hornets' nest as crew, marines, and civilians rushed to help the wounded.

Meanwhile on the command deck…

"Good landing Captain… you were able to land the ship mostly in one piece and even afforded to keep it upright," said Brigadier General Grimm as he stood up from his seat he had taken for the crash.

"Thank you General, but the credit goes to all the," said the captain before she was cut off by a third voice.

"Ma'am! You need to see…" yelled one of the younger enlisted. He realized too late he had interrupted the general and captain and was now breaking out in a cold sweat as both of the senior officers walked over to his station to look at what he was so excited about.

Looking at the frozen radar display General Grimm cocked his head to the side and asked, "What am I looking at sailor?"

The nervous sailor started to stammer, "Well I set the sensor array to map the terrain and look for objects on the ground and this popped up. I was able to focus a short scan on it and this is what came up." He pointed out a small blob of a much lighter green on his scope and then he zoomed in which also sharpen the image on that area. "Ma'am, Sir… this looks…"

"Like someone made it," said the General as he examined the refined radar image. "Sailor where is this structure?"

"Sir I think we landed on it…" replied the sailor who seemed to be relaxing a little.

"****, if that was built and we plowed through it whoever built it is likely not going to be very happy with us," replied the General speaking out loud to himself. He then quickly turned toward the door and yelled back over his shoulder as he left, "Good work sailor someone tell the marines we are on alert. Also I want a 6 man fire team, a 5 man fire team, and 3 Hellion crews in the Hellion bay now!"

General Grimm then ran out of the command deck headed for the armory to grab some armor and his machine gun then it was off to the Hellion bay. "Wonderful first impression," muttered the General to himself as he ran.

Town of Tranquility
15 minutes after the Respite crashed

The citizens of Tranquility could only stare at awe at the massive object that had just crashed several miles away. Their homes, made in from living trees by skilled nature magic (grass type) users, were all empty as everyone was outside to see the giant object. Almost no one moved as they stared at the strange metal object that had suddenly crashed into the surrounding forest. Already Pokemon were discussing what it was and where it came from.

All of a sudden there was a flash followed by a burst of psychic energy as a Gardevoir teleported herself and several others into the middle of the city. A Typhlosion who was among the few who had been teleported by the Gardevoir screamed, "Mirit, the temple of Fircia, and the Hall of the Forest Heroes are all gone! Destroyed, wiped out, and along with almost everyone in it. We are the only survivors!"

Looking at the other survivors the look of shock and horror confirmed what the fire type was saying was true. The Gardevoir at this point began to cry as she fell to the ground in grief. The news at first silenced the residents of Tranquility before a storm of voices erupted. Despite all the talking the Typhlosion could be heard once again above all the other Pokemon, "That thing has destroyed our sacred temple, killed our friends and families, and even destroyed the resting place of our greatest heroes! It has to be evil and must be destroyed!" As he spoke the flames on his body began to grow more intense. Several Pokemon around him had to retreat a little to get away from the intense heat his flames were putting off.

"No we should not attack it until we understand what it is," replied a booming voice coming from the Chief of the village. The crowd began to separate as a massive Venusaur approached the Typhlosion. The Venusaur was Litir, the village's well loved chief for the past decade, everyone in town knew him and respected him. "I think we should wait and see what it does next," said the Venusaur.

"And let it kill more of us?!" screamed the Typhlosion. "No we should attack before it gets a chance to kill more of us! Whose with me!?"

"It hasn't moved in the last couple of minutes perhaps your right we should take action, but not attack it. Perhaps sending scouts to investigate it would be the best course of action," replied the Venusaur as all the villagers began jointing into the debate on whether to watch to see what that thing did, attack it, or send a scouting force.

And they say the bigger they are the harder they fall... I set up my character for one nasty fall when he gets captured.

Honestly most Pokemon (besides some normals, sloppy fighters (IE ones who only use brute force to win), and some other weaker pokemon) could hand him his rear. I mean karate guy verse big three headed dragon, or mole with blade arms that can cause earthquakes, any pokemon made of steel, or even the lizard who breathes freaking fire... ya I would not put my money on karate dude.

If I end up going a little over the top let me know and I'll back off.

I'll do my best to inhibit Cyrus at first to keep him in balance from either using character flaws, giving him injuries, or whatever else I can cook up (perhaps just give him the worse luck streak in the history of man kind).

That being said if I go too far let me know I'll fix it... I don't want to be playing godmode and ruining the fun. (That applies to everyone)

Just FYI I will very likely be unable to post on the 8th and 9th due to in town due to company. I'll be able to post later on the 10th so it shouldn't affect too much.
