Pokemon-Themed Sub-Quests. Good or Bad?

What do you all think about this concept?

In a new Pokemon game, you train the Pokemon as always, but there are points where the Pokemon has to go off by themself and find things/go through small tunnels, and often also interact with other Pokemon?

Do you think that would make a nice new change in the games? Get to an air duct leading to a place with imprisoned Pokemon, then have Pikachu go through it and try to open the door from the inside or something? Kind of like occasions in the series?

Give as much (or as little) feedback as you like.

Yeah that sounds cool like the pokemon is lost and must find its way back to trainer.

I would love to play this game, although not as a crappy little Pikachu, but as something small but powerful. Maybe a Sneasel can have a mini adventure like Street Fighter or Soul Calibur or something XD Or perhaps Ditto could have a Metal Gear Mission, transforming into people to stop being spotted ^_^

Heh, that'd be cool. These are all nice ideas for possible minigames in the future.

Another fun one might be having two of the same Pok?mon and a Ditto together, the Ditto transforms into the other Pok?mon, they switch around, and you try to guess which is the Ditto. Although this idea might be more suitable for the Game Corner because techincally it's gambling ^^;;

I think it would work. You could even pick which Pokemon to send out. On top of that, while you play as the Pokemon, you can understand their language. It would be a cool change.

I like that idea. I would definatly play the game if the came out with something like that!
