    Who else knew about this?

Go noto your trainer card, look at your badges then use touch screen to polish them?

I only found out the other day when a friend told me.

Sorry if this is spam mods.

You poilish them until they shine and then you can play a tune on them.

I didn't even realise they could be shined until I noticed that the first badge was weirdly coloured compared to the 2nd and 3rd. xD
And of course, the music tunes came with it.

The more shiny they are, the higher the note is.

I don't see the point with this...

What the thread, Or polishing badges?

I think its good, because It gives me a little break when constant battles get boring, Its like a fun little mini game and makes it seem much more like the TV show.

There is no point to it desu~! xP It was just a little shocking to see all my badges gritty and stuff after not playing Pearl for nearly a month (school is my bane....). So I sat down and did some polishing for a few mins... ^.^

Is there any level of shine past 4 sparkles, or is that as high as you can go?

    It's the highest... ^^
Imagine having to polish a single badge for an hour or so. Not good. D:
