I wonder if the end of WWE is coming sooner than expected.

I still don't see how people still thinks that TNA is going out of business.

They really need to put focus on the mid-card talents, such as MVP, Mr. Kennedy, Shelton Benjamin, etc.. The veterans won't always be there to carry that matches. If they don't make the change right now, it would be all over.

I agree. While most of the current main eventers have at least another 5 years (in my opinion) they need to start pushing mid-card and upper mid-card talent or come WrestleMania 30 the main event will be a "WrestleMania 25 rematch" with a 49 year old Undertaker and a 48 year old Shawn Michaels returning and performing at a fraction of their WrestleMania 25 days and ruining everything (as opposed to saving the travesty that was WrestleMania 25).

New Talent Being Called Up Soon
    By Daniel Pena

    source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

-- Company officials have described the next few months as a rebuilding period because they hope to push new talent to the top even if the ratings slip a little. They also plan on calling up more talent from Florida Championship Wrestling within the next few months and giving them a purpose as opposed to putting them on television and having them flounder. However, the question remains as to who those people are.

Another detail in light of the extra hour of television being produced every week is that more and more, the ideas for entertainment will be put on Raw with ECW, SmackDown and Superstars generally focusing on wrestling.

Latest On Jeff Hardy's WWE Contract Situation
    By Brad Ingles

The latest on Jeff Hardy re-signing with WWE is that he is giving mixed signals to friends on his intentions. It was previously reported that he gave friends the impression that he would re-sign, but new reports are saying that he is giving the impression of taking time off without signing a new deal.

Some people backstage have admired Hardy's decision to take time off without signing a new contract. There was fear in the past that if a wrestler took time off they would be punished, but wrestlers now realize if you have a certain status with the company then such a move could be pulled off. The Big Show and Chris Jericho took time off in the past and received a big push upon their return.

    I can't resist posting this...

20 Rules For The WWE Diva Afterlife
    By Daniel Pena

-- I can't confirm the validity of the following piece, but it was apparently written from the perspective of an anonymous former WWE Diva giving her tongue-in-cheek take on the afterlife of a WWE Diva, largely taking aim at her peers and the numerous fans that attend wrestling conventions (which almost always have a slew of former WWE Divas on hand).

The piece has been forwarded around to numerous wrestling sites, including this one. An interesting read to say the least:

20 Official Rules For WWE Diva Afterlife

Written by a former WWE Diva

    1. Don't worry, it will grow back fine... just cut it down and stop bleaching it dummy. Now your natural color will be seen as a "new look" and you will experience refreshed marketability. Take some brand new all natural 8x10's at Wal-Mart and work it girl!

    2. Remember you can always bleach your hair again back to the "classic look" to boost your self esteem for a week. If you ever get cancer from the dye, just ask Dawn Marie to sell her unwashed panties through Wrestlers Rescue to help pay for the medical bills.

    3. If your just coming off TV, then your used to the schedule. Always starve yourself before every appearance and pig out at your favorite fast food restaurant afterwards. Nothing new. Eating disorders and binging cycles are totally normal and healthy. It's a Diva's way of life, 4-life.

    4. If you haven't done so already, you need to go **** either Scott Levy, Batista or Ric Flair before he dies. Do a few lines of coke with them too. It makes for a great tell all shoot and high self worth.

    5. The wrestling convention circuit is 10x200. The same 10 money marks will book you and the same 200 losers will show up each time. Milk 'em for all they are worth cause it's all you got left. Virgil will be at every show so you might as well get to know him too. And yes, he is a real creep.

    6. Appearing at 3 Flea Markets per week is officially known as "doing a tour". Congrats on the success!

    7. Letting men touch your breasts for an extra $5 during photo-ops is an excellent business strategy.

    8. If the photo-op printer ever stalls and delays, just give them an index card with your own lip prints on it. It will make their day that you were soooo selfless, giving and thoughtful of their patience.

    9. It's perfectly normal to refer to other human beings as "fans", "clients" and "followers" but to their face- always call them "friend".

    10. Always smile and play nice with the co-workers you haven't seen in 5 years. These are your "best friends in the whole world"....somehow? That's how the wrestling family illusion rolls on.

    11. Treat the disabled extra nice. Them pockets are deep with Social Security money and they spend like mad at the gimmick table.

    12. You will never draw like Trish Stratus, you will never look like Trish Stratus and you will flat out never be Trish Stratus... but don't ever stop trying hun'.

    13. But yes, I know you are still a big star... right in your head.

    14. Even if you got fired, always say that you left "on your own terms" or because of an "undisclosed dispute". This will always make you appear above the business.

    15. Always say that a WWE return is "right around the corner" and "never say never" when you know damn well they wouldn't take you back if you begged.

    16. When the going get's tough, selling your used tampons on eBay is a great way to make some additional cash.

    17. I know the crows feet and wrinkles are building up. It's ok, no one is going to seriously book your used up, worn out ass after age 45 anyway. It's now time to assume the Moolah role.

    18. There's nothing wrong with forever living in the past. Tammy Sytch still lives in 1996, and look there's nothing wrong with her.

    19. Why have any normal relationships? You can have every lonely pervert from Philadelphia to Oakland lusting after you. Being emotionally unstable is F U N!

    20. Remember that Jesus forgives you for all of your sins, so everything listed above is A-OK. Just rinse and repeat.

In closing: Yes this is one sad life but hey it's all you know.... so do it like a professional!

Victoria was close, and Lita was equal, but no one really did surpass Trish Stratus. Rule 12 is so real...

It's sad that some guys are actually that desperate.

I'm rootin' for Jeff Hardy to go back to TNA. He'll make a great addition. If not, then he can always lead in the comeback.

Mr Kennedy has returned to wrestling. He was at the Florida Championship Wrestling TV taping on Thursday. Expect him to return to Raw either in the next few weeks or on June 22, when Raw is in Green Bay.

WWE Wants Announcers To Not Be Stars Of Shows
    By Brad Ingles

The general feeling backstage is that Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler are seen as stars as opposed to being regular announcers like Michael Cole, Todd Grisham, Josh Mathews and Matt Striker. Vince McMahon wants all announcers to be viewed on the same level, and that the wrestlers are the only stars of the show. He sees it as a difficult thing to accomplish since Ross and Lawler will also be seen as stars and were inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Many are interested to see the transition with the announcers after Ross and Lawler retires.

Report On WWE In The Rebuilding Process
    By Brad Ingles

WWE will be in the rebuilding process during the next few months as the company tries to make new stars, and officials are expecting the ratings to dip during the process. There are plans to bring in more development wrestlers from FCW and start them with a solid plan instead of just putting them on TV and hoping for something to come from it. There are discussions of making a rule to where creative writers would work over a limited amount of wrestlers so that attention can go to the newer talent. The expectation is for WWE to become more about wrestling with there being four shows a week and possibly a fifth show being added.

WWE Wants Announcers To Not Be Stars Of Shows
It's too bad that Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler are bigger stars than half of WWE's roster.

Report On WWE In The Rebuilding Process
I might not know what's going on the 4th show, but I know that a 5th is just too much. Will there be each show for each day of the week? That's pushing it. However, I enjoy reading the part where there will be plans on rebuilding younger wrestlers.

Well...This is a lot to take in after not being active on PC for about a week.

Seriously...Well, Jeff leaving wouldn't exactly be a bad thing, as long as he comes back. Make it someting like Cena coming after being injured, and being the Royal Rumble Winner here at New York. I Don't think long time is that good, like Jericho, being out for like 3 years.

Kennedy's back? Well, lets hope that he actually learned a thing or two after being out. As for World Champion, maybe...in a decade or two (or even three)

I took rule 12 dead ass seriously. Trish <3 Ya! :D

JR, and King will never be "original" They will forever be legends! xD
