Hey everyone, Maci12 here bringing back a project of mine that was hugely successful in these forums a couple years ago. The link is to the look back that links to all of the incredible contributions to the project. If you want to see what the standard of these gyms was, take a look through the links in that post.
The premise of it is to post your own gym, complete with gym nerd, gym trainers, and gym leader and see how it stacks up against other gyms. The best gym from each round would be selected to be used in a hack. The last project ended up being simply a fun competition as I learned that I did not possess the map hacking wherewithal to put the gyms we made into effect. Having learned from that now, we're going to go into this starting it off as a fun competition. If anyone with the ability to rom hack well chooses to implement some of the gyms, that would be fantastic! No matter what, I'm sure you'll see just how much fun this project is.
The following is the suggested template for your gym:
The following are REQUIRED in your gym post:
- Pictures and Levels of all Pokemon (Pictures can be found at: https://www.pokemonelite2000.com/blackwhite_bw.html )
- The Gym Leader's Pokemon must have movesets. (Competitive movesets can be found at https://www.smogon.com/ )
- You are required to post a Second Round to your gym battle. You only need to create the leader, and his pokemon are at a much more advanced stage.
The following is where I will mark if your Gym/Elite 4 was victorious in its round:

Level Ranges

These ranges applies to the leader's pokemon only, the Gym Trainer's Pokemon Levels are roughly 4 levels lower than the leaders lowest level pokemon, but that's really up to you. Obviously, your going to have a smaller range of numbers than these do, I'm simply stating what the lowest acceptable level and the highest acceptable levels are.
Gym 1 - 16 - 22 [Round 2 = 70-74]
Gym 2 - 20 - 28 [Round 2 = 72-76]
Gym 3 - 25 - 34 [Round 2 = 73-77]
Gym 4 - 30 - 42 [Round 2 = 75-79]
Gym 5 - 39 - 48 [Round 2 = 76-79]
Gym 6 - 43 - 52 [Round 2 = 78-81]
Gym 7 - 48 - 56 [Round 2 = 80-83]
Gym 8 - 56 - 61 [Round 2 = 85-87]

Important Dates

Unlike some other Create a Gym type things, I am doing this in an organized fashion. Every four days I will open up ONE Round for people to make gyms for. At the end of four days, I will create a poll and we will vote to see who made the best gym, add it to the above list, and that Gym Round will be closed for the rest of the process. There will be no posting ahead of time, or I will disregard your gym regardless of how well made it is. The dates for the Gym Posting are as follows:

6/1/2012: Gym 2 Closes, Gym 3 Opens
