Hi Everyone!

INTRODUCTION

I currently have a Team-In-Progress called Project Orange. The team is somewhat large, but I still need a few more people (around 5-8). So far, I have 19 (mostly friends and relatives), and together our skills only result in Storylines, basic Mapping, Moderate Trainer Sprite Making and Site Management.

I REALLY need help in Scripting, mapping, and New Pokemon Sprites (Nintendomon), and I know there are many wonderful Hack Veterans out there who can do this without batting an eyelash!

I'm making this Team because it is always good to have a team of people to rely on for a hack, and to admit, I have the brains but not the skills. A group together can make up for eachothers' lack of skills, and we can make an amazing hack!

Current Staff

MAPPING DEPARTMENT
Department Head: Junkboy (Interim)
Assistants: Bingbong, Lolwhet, AipomSOL

Synopsis: Does the mapping and basic construction of the game. This is probably the most important department on the site. Looking for a new Mapping Department Head.


GAME HACKING DEPARTMENT
Department Head: Bingbong (Interim)
Assistants: N/A

Synopsis: Basically uses UNLZ-GBA to import the new sprites, works with programs like YAPE, Advance Starter and etc.

SCRIPTING DEPARTMENT
Department Head: Rydrew123
Assistants: Aperso, Lolwhet

Synopsis: Programs events and text into the games, and makes sure it works properly. This is probably one of the most vital components for this game launch, and a scriptor is need quick!



STORYLINE DEPARTMENT
Department Head: Bingbong
Assistants: TheNubler, DiabloMask

Synopsis: Constructs the general storyline of the games made, like the evil team, gyms, rivals and the flow of events. The group collaborates ideas to make a worthy story to be brought to life by the Game Hacking Department.



MEDIA DEPARTMENT
Department Head: Triple J
Assistants: Juicy, Baklau, DragonDude

Synopsis: Makes trailers and spreads the word about the game being made. Notifies people of the progress and runs the site newspaper.



SITE MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT
Department Head: Lolwhet
Assistants: Bingbong, Carter15, Tenny

Synopsis: Keeps the site clean and spam free. Manages the forums and adds stuff to the site, like trailers, pics and information. This is the core team to keep the game's progress going.



GAME ART DEPARTMENT
Department Head: Junkboy
Assistants: Triple J, DiabloMask

Synopsis: Develops sprites, splash screens and colours to be used in the game, and spaces out and does preliminary mapping of towns, routes and etc.



RECRUITMENT DEPARTMENT
Department Head: TheMyth
Assistants: ThapThap, Nay, Baller

Synopsis: Brings more people onto the development team and the site, so they can be aware of the game. Helps people get to know about the site.


TESTING DEPARTMENT
Department Head: Astraixin
Assistants: Narathan, SS-Hussain

Synopsis: Tests beta versions of the game and checks for glitches and things which can be improved. Critiques the effectiveness of the game and gives feedback on how to improve it.

This team is basically working on the Nintendomon Franchise, which I'll tell you about below;

Current Projects

this team will work on the Nintendomon Franchise, basically a Pokemon game, using Nintendo characters, as well as some Sonic / Metal Gear Solid Characters, as the pokemon. It is somewhat realistic,as we currently have games planned to take place in the Ontario, Quebec, Eldorado (South-west USA) and North-West Regions).

The first priority game is Nintendomon Ruins of Time

Current Stage: Mapping

Storyline: The natives of the Ontario Region once predicted that Nintendomon and humans together will cause the destruction of the Earth. Now, a Team called Team Ninan is planning to use this info, and expose the flaws of humans. They find out a legendary, Tabuu, is the strongest Nintendomon which can create a "Distortion World" where humans and Nintendomon can be seperated. They find out that Prof. Nathan, the local prof of the region, is the only one who has info on this Nintendomon...

At the same time, the player starts his/her journey in Markham Town, and is going to get their starter - either Bulbasaur, Squirtle or Charmander. As s/he exits the home, they see Prof. Nathan being hassled by three strange people garbed in Blue and Gold. Also there are the player's childhood friends/rivals Janarthan and Tanya. Prof. Nathan asks for help and tells them to get a pokeball out of his bag. The player then gets to choose a starter, with Janarthan choosing the starter stronger to the player's, and Tanya choosing the weaker. Each of you split up and battle a grunt. After the player wins, the grunts take Prof Nathan and run away, the adventure begins...

Thankfully, we have another artist as well, and he's done a few sprites (Most are re-colours though). And you can see them on the site. So you'll be working with him for sprites (or u can work alone if u prefer). Recoulours are alrite for trainer sprites, and for Nintendomon it would be nice if they were unique.
