    Zee All Important Plot

Team Rocket. So long has it been since the group's crime wave swept through Kanto and Jhoto, respectively. Long has it been since the evil organization had been stopped by the brave trainers that stood up to it. Still, though, the mention of its name brings back memories to those who had their Pokemon stolen, or their house robbed, or those who had been held hostage. In other regions, criminal organizations rose and fell similarly.

Giovanni, former leader of Team Rocket, has traveled to Orre, as needless to say, he is not very welcome in Kanto. His Gym in Viridian City had been given to Gary Oak, grandson of renowned Pokemon researcher Professor Oak. Giovanni had no problems with it- the gym held too many memories of his criminal past, which had been abandoned for a less illegal career as a businessman.

Cyrus, former leader of the now-disbanded Team Galactic, continues to seek a way to remove his vague, incomplete, weak spirit. To remove the soul of the world. Hearing of Cipher and its Shadow Pokemon, he too travels to Orre. There he meets with a former member of Cipher, who is in possession of the last Shadow Pokemon. Together they plot to revive the Shadow Pokemon Project.

Miror B., a former Cipher Admin, and the only person known to still have a Shadow Pokemon. He attempted to make his own group, Team Miror B., but nobody wanted to join. After that failure, he decided joining Cyrus would be a good way to earn his rep back, and get some members. Trudly and Folly do their best to help him move towards this goal.

Giovanni soon encounters the other former leaders, and his reputation precedes him. The two attempt to convince him to join them. At first Giovanni was going to refuse, but realized that the Shadow Pokemon Project could be used to bring about Team Rocket's reign once more. His mind once again filled with dreams of wielding the ultimate power, Giovanni accepted the offer. Soon, Galactic and Rocket remnants flocked to the new alliance.

Meanwhile, in Hoenn, a man named Edward Vanchez hears rumors of the group while eavesdropping. Seeing it as the perfect opportunity to enact his own plan, he travels to Orre. Seeking out the leaders, he finds them bickering over what they should be called. Making his appearance, Edward offered to join, proving his strength by defeating each of them in turn. Pleased that they all knew now who was the greatest, he suggested the name Quadrangular Nexus, as there were four leaders, each having led their own group before.

The three were shocked that Edward was also a boss of a crime group, never having heard of him. He explained with an air of arrogance that while they had been grandstanding and having fools made of them, his network had wormed its way into the soil of society, undetected, but sleeping like a benign tumor, waiting to emerge.

This turned out to be true. The group followed Edward's lead, taking over Orre silently, like an assassin stalking in the shadows. Then, they bided their time, lulling the world into a false sense of safety. Orre's remote location helped hide them as they waited to pounce.

    They had a plan:

Each Leader would take a region.

    Cyrus traveled to Kanto.

    Miror B. departed for Johto.

    Giovanni went to Sinnoh.

Finally, Edward would spring his trap in Hoenn.

The Pokemon League would be overwhelmed, unable to fight off the simultaneous attacks all across the globe. Cipher's Shadow Pokemon, Team Galactic's technology, Team Rocket's planning and renown, and Edward's hidden spy networks would work together to break the world's backbone.

But they are a group divided, each man with his own final goal. Perhaps this will be their undoing.

    Your Parts To Play

    A) In Kanto, a new group of trainers prepares to leave on a journey. This is you, legends waiting to be born. Professor Oak in Pallet Town will give you your first Pokemon, and set you on the path to the Indigo Plateau.

    B) A villain. A member of QN, making way for the new world order of your leaders. You receive a normal or Shadow Pokemon from the higher-ups and begin scouting potential recruits and threats. This means your character may not preform any major crimes until QN is revealed, so waiting for action may get boring. But then again, being evil is fun. >:D

    What About The Other Regions?

For now, you are all in Kanto. Later chapters will cover Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and eventually Orre.

    Rules

    1. Follow the RP Section rules.

    2. I am Game Master, but you are free to have some control over the world. For example, if you want it to rain, or clear up, its fine. Nothing big without PMing me though, like trapping us in a cave because of a rock slide. If its a good plot idea I usually won't mind, but you still need to contact me first.

    3. No God-Modding or bunnying. Also... grammar is important. If you find any errors in your posts I would like you to take the time and fix them. I do realize that sometimes you slip up and don't notice, especially when making a large post and not checking it, butt spellig lik dis iz no gud... unless you are making a post where there is a letter, and the writer is known for bad grammar, as this would make sense.

    4. Minor cursing is allowed, and would be expected if you are using a villain character. If you want, use '*'s to censor it. Please refrain from vulgar language in OOC, though.

    5. Separate OOC comments from main posts, if you must make them. Make sure it is clearly indicated. Also, be polite to other RPers.

    6. No move limits or level systems, but be realistic and no God-Modding. Magikarp ain't going to be using Hyper Beam... yet. Maybe after evolving.
Also, catching Pokemon. In a battle versus a wild Pokemon (I will decide when one appears and wants to battle, but feel free to ask, or spot a few to set the mood), the RPer will RP the battle, and if they try to catch the Pokemon, I will decide by how well the battle way RP'd (not one-sided unless it makes sense for the Pokemon being used, well written, realistic) whether or not the Pokemon is captured.

    7. Any post should at least be a paragraph. I myself am not the best at describing things in great detail, so I won't bug you too much, but 'Sally said, "Eevee, use tackle!" And Eevee used Tackle.' isn't quite good enough.

    8. Have fun. That's what games are for.

    My SU

    Name: Albert Fitzgerald

    Age: 24

    Gender: Male

    Faction: Villain- Giovanni

Appearance: Albert is 6'9'' and thin as a rake. He isn't particularly athletic or strong, but he has a great vertical jump. He has tanned skin and short-cut black hair. A scruffy goatee and sideburns adorn Albert's face, and he has very bushy eyebrows. Albert's eyes are muddy brown.

Albert's wardrobe consists of blue jeans, black runners, a dark blue shirt, and a black trench coat. He also wears a brown leather belt with his pokeballs attached to it. A black and blue satchel carries Albert's supplies. Upon Albert's head is a black baseball cap with 'QN' written on it in white letters.

Personality: A pessimist, Albert isn't surprised he got stuck with the weakest Pokemon in existence. He is one of the people who always sees the glass as half-empty, and his one hope was that Team Rocket would take him to fortune and glory. Now he has that chance again. He tends to complain a lot, but takes his duties seriously, and is no slouch when it comes to strategy and plotting. Distrusting of the other leaders, Albert remains loyal to Boss Rocket, and no other before him.

A lover of puzzles, Albert is not so much a mathematical, or literal thinker. He likes to try and figure out people. It is kind of his hobby to analyze those around him. And when there is nobody else to analyze around, Albert will analyze himself, and his Pokemon.

An avid reader, Albert has great book smarts and theoretical knowledge. 'How To Pick Locks For Dummies' was especially useful during his criminal career. Also a fan of fictional works, his favorite books are the Lord of The Rings trilogy.

History: Albert was formerly a Rocket Grunt in the Kanto Region. Red, the current Champion, defeated him several times during Team Rocket's endeavors. After Team Rocket was disbanded, he returned to his old job of Pokemart Clerk. He released his Pokemon from Old Team Rocket and suffered in silence in his mediocre life. When word of QN came to his ears, he was overjoyed, a rare emotion for him. Rushing to Orre, albert joined QN immediately, only to have his hopes crushed by being given a Magikarp to use.

Albert grew up in Viridian City, under the direct influence of Giovanni, the gym leader. He always looked up to the man. Giovanni was powerful, wealthy, and famous. When Albert was only fourteen, he showed great promise, and was recruited for Team Rocket.

Other Information: Albert plays the harmonica, and is actually not that bad at it.

    ---Pokemon---

    Nickname: Soquid

    Species: Magikarp

    Gender: Male

Unique Appearance Traits: Has three dorsal fins instead of a single one, but otherwise is no different than a regular Magikarp.

Personality: Soquid has a relaxed nature, enjoys simply floating along in the water, and likes all kinds of food. He doesn't really do much.

Other: All Soquid is really good for is being thrown at things. He can use Tackle in the water, as well.

    My RP Sample/Opening Post
    Chapter 1: New Beginnings

The morning sun had only just began to warm the little dirt and gravel roads of Pallet Town, but already a crowd of men, women, and children was outside Professor Oak's lab, waiting to see off the trainers that would be receiving their first Pokemon. Pallet Town was a small community, so most people knew each other, and wanted to wish the brand new trainers the best on their journeys. The grass was green, as were the leaves on the trees, and the air was becoming warm and humid. Summer was arriving.

A man sat lazily on a park bench, seemingly asleep. Hung over the back of the bench was a long, black coat, removed because of the heat. A Pidgey flew down and pecked at his shoe. The man's foot shifted and the Pidgey flew away. The man stood and tossed his coat over his shoulder, glancing around. He murmured to himself, "Nice going, Al, falling asleep when you're on watchdog duty."

Approaching the crowd, Albert looked over their heads to see if the newbies were getting their Pokemon yet. So far nothing. He grunted as a young man pushed past him to get a better view. Cursing the youth under his breath, he walked around, trying to find a break in the crowd. "Arceus, tell me how such a small town can have so many people," he sighed, returning to his park bench to wait.

"Why hello there, young man," greeted an old voice beside him. Albert jumped, not having seen the old woman on the bench before. She tossed a few bread crumbs for a few Pidgey that were sitting in a tree nearby.

"Uh, hey," Albert replied, giving a small nod of greeting. One of the Pidgey hopped over and pecked at his shoe again. He shook his foot at it to scare it away.

The old woman gave a light laugh, "Apparently your shoe tastes better than the bread, hm?"

    Albert simply shrugged.

  • Hey there! This RP looks really rather fun! I have an SU for you to take a look at. =3

    Name: Rose Roberts

    Age: Nineteen years.

    Gender: Female

    Faction: Villain - Miror B.

Appearance: Rose stands at 5'4"; short for her age. She's ever so slightly overweight. She doesn't look especially strong or threatening, with a round and full face. Her skin is usually quite pale, but during her trip to Orre she picked up a slight tan, and her cheeks are usually rosy. Her round eyes are a pale bluey grey, and her lashes are long. Much like her waist length wavy hair, which she usually keeps in a loose plait or ponytail, her eyebrows are a deep copper colour. She always neglects to trim her fingernails, meaning they are rather long.

Rose usually wears a long red dress top which extends to her thighs, and underneath a pair of thin, brown, loose trousers that drag on the floor. Her trainers are white with red stripes and laces, and she wears a pair of red rounded rectangular glasses. The part of the glasses that extend backwards to lie behind her ears are wide, and the letters 'QN' are printed in them in purple text. She wears a wide black belt over her top on which she keeps her Pokeballs. She carries a brown and purple backpack in which she keeps her supplies.

Personality: A rather eccentric girl, Rose loves to see people smile... Before she snatches their Pokemon and leaves them wondering whatever happened to the lovely girl they were just speaking to. Rose uses her childish and friendly looks and her slightly kiddish voice to gain her mark's trust. She finds it fun to see the looks of confusion on their faces. Speaking of fun, Rose loves to jump for joy and dance around a lot when she gets the chance. Unfortunately, she doesn't get to do this very often because of the nature of working with villains. She's easily amused, and giggles childishly a lot, but she does take her work quite seriously.

History: Born and raised in sleepy Azalea Town, Rose longed to free herself from the quiet life her parents gave her. She loved to explore and discover new things, and often entered the Slowpoke Well. She found the Slowpoke both boring and amusing at the same time; their gormless faces just made her giggle. She also entered Ilex Forest to see if there were any fun Pokemon in there; she wasn't disappointed - the Bug and Grass Types were really quite fun, as was the tension of being alone in the dark forest. She loved to play pranks on other children, and found their confused faces rather amusing. However, because she always giggled so insanely, everyone always knew it was her. She didn't mind though; she was having fun!

When Team Rocket came to Azalea and began to mistreat the Slowpoke, she often watched them and sometimes considered that it could be pretty fun to be a villain. However, she thought they were all a bit stuffy, and she watched with amusement as Red, the future champion, single handedly foiled their scheme. Soon after that, she left home and travelled around Johto for a while, before heading out to Orre, having heard that Pokemon were behaving strangely and thinking that could be quite interesting, and wanting more than a simple life of petty confidence trickery, of which she had become quite accomplished. By the time Rose arrived in Orre, Cipher was on its way down. She was disappointed, having not seen much of the Shadow Pokemon. Indeed, the few she had witnessed in action seemed rather interesting. Their erratic behaviour was just up her street.
However, it was not only the Pokemon that caught her eye while she was over there. Of course, it was hard to miss Miror B. He treated battles like a dance and kept a rhythm in his head constantly. Despite being a notorious villain, he didn't conform to most expectations; he wasn't old or stuffy, and didn't dress like a boring businessman. He had crazy hair and an eyecatching personality. When he disappeared off the radar, Rose was disappointed. She had found him so very amusing, and wished to hang around him so he could continue to inspire her.
Having nothing to do, Rose reluctantly travelled Orre to see the damage done by Cipher.
She was in Pyrite Town, among the former Cipher agents turned petty crooks like her, when she overheard a rumour about QN's formation. At once she made her way to join, and was overjoyed to find that the enigmatic Miror B. was one of the big four. Her erratic and playful behaviour and a good knowledge of both Johto and Orre prompted her to be given a Shadow Furret, at which she was overjoyed.

Other Information: Rose has a good sense of rhythm and loves upbeat music. She's fond of humming or singing along to fun tunes.

    ---Pokemon Section---

    Species: Shadow Furret

    Gender: Male

Unique Appearance Traits: This furret has dark purple eyes instead of the usual grey, but this is not extremely noticable.

Personality: Being a Shadow Pokemon, Furret's personality is erratic (which suits his trainer fine!). He is usually quite upbeat and quick moving, but sometimes his emotions can get the best of him and he goes into a frenzy, slipping and squirming all over the place. At times like these, he eats ravenously, and he goes from liking sweet foods to sour. He is rather excitable.

Other: Furret has a habit of slinking around the legs of people and Pokemon and tripping them over (which Rose finds very amusing).

    My RP Sample/Opening Post:

A girl in her late teens yawned and looked around the small town as she leant against a tree, her scruffy copper hair waving gently in the summer breeze. She felt a grin spring to her face as she regarded the town's happenings and enjoyed the pleasant surroundings; the sweet scent of the fresh trees made such a lovely contrast to the arid landscape she had been in only days before.

All around Rose Roberts a great crowd was thronging together to celebrate the start of new trainers' Pokemon journeys. The crowd was joyful and excited, and the intense energy all around her was making her jittery. She giggled quietly under her breath before regaining her focus. Joining in the fun wasn't worth messing up her mission in Kanto for. She simply remained leaning against the tree, watching the crowd.
No one would notice her, and even if they did, what was so odd? She just seemed like a normal youth. She was dressed in her usual travelling clothes; she would seem like a regular traveller to anyone who bothered to take an interest.

She regarded the Pidgey that flew around the area. Perhaps having a Flying Type Pokemon could be fun. Even better, to be the Pokemon! Flitting around the skies, free as- Well, as free as a bird! Spreading her wings and diving from a tree... Feeling the rush of the wind... A light breeze was in fact playing across Rose's face as she thought about it, and she smiled at the fact it wasn't full of scratchy sand. She had the feeling she was going to enjoy working in Kanto.

I do hope it's okay. I wasn't sure what you were really looking for in the opening post; you only said that we were in Kanto, so I wasn't sure what my character should be doing.
I thought it seemed a bit odd that Rose was given a Shadow Pokemon even though she hadn't been in Cipher before, so if you'd rather I chose a different Pokemon for her, I shall do so. I hope everything else is in order. =3

  • Name: Dominic (Domino) Velacruz

    Age: 16

    Gender: Male

    Faction: Trainer

Appearance: Dominic Velacruz has very tanned skin. He has dark brown eyes, flecked with gold, and very white teeth. He's is roughly 5"9, with a large build. He's not obese, he's just plain big. He has a very square head with low cheekbones and a well defined chin. He has wide shoulders and strong arms, with very large hands. Dominic's hair is black, and cut extremely short. It ever so slightly sticks up in the front.

His clothing is simple, he wears a black and white collared shirt with short sleeves. He has baggy dark blue jeans, and brown hiking boots. Around his neck he has a thick silver chain, with a matching silver watch. He normally has a pair of sunglasses on his forehead.

Personality: Dominic is a very quiet and polite young man. Despite his bulk, he's incredibly sweet and gentle. He's not the best with words, but he's honest and gets his point across. He likes to take a following role, he's not cut out to be a leader. He lacks the firm discipline and common sense of a good leader. He's hard-working and very self-motivated. When he gets to know someone as a friend, he opens up more and can really grow attached to people.

He has a very strong fear of enclosed spaces, he loves the outdoors and fresh air. Dominic doesn't like crowds, he prefers being with a few people he really likes. He's smart, but doesn't have a great sense of humor, and just can not comprehend sarcasm. He takes things very literally.

History: Dominic Velacruz grew up in a small home with his 5 brothers and 4 sisters,as well as is parents and his grandmother. Even though he was one of the youngest born, he was the biggest in the household. Dominic would often knock over objects or people while just moving around, giving him the nickname "Domino". While he was growing up, he always wanted to be a trainer. His family had no Pokemon, there was no room, but Dominic longed to escape his unorganized cramped life to roam Kanto and the rest of the world.

His family lived in Viridian City, where they ran a restaurant. When he was ten, and prepared to leave on his journey, a group of Rocket Grunts had trashed his family's restaurant after an argument and his father was badly hurt. He had to stay longer to clean up and help out while his father recuperated. Then, as his older brother and sister both left, his work increased at the restaurant, until finally at the age of sixteen he could escape. He;s prepared to receive his Pokemon from Professer Oak as soon as possible.

Other Information: He's an incredible cook, and he's good at cleaning. He's also great at building things.

    ---Pokemon Section---

    Nickname: Masamba

    Species:
    Bulbasaur

    Gender: Male

Unique Appearance Traits: His bulb has lighter green streaks going down the leaves.

Personality: Masamba has a quirky personality, he's normally very shy, but when he sees someone in distress or hurt he gets very concerned. He'll frantically do anything he can to help anyone, Pokemon or human. He doesn't hold back during battles, but afterward likes to see if the opponent is okay.

Other: Isn't a fan of his Pokeball, but he'll go in if necessary.

    ---RP Sample---

Dominic say on his bed, staring out of the opposite window at the sunrise. He hadn't been able to get to sleep, he was so excited for his journey. He smiled to himself in anticipation. His brothers groggily woke up as the alarm began to ring. Dominic poked the of button and started to sneak his way out of the bedroom while his three siblings broke out of their half-asleep state. He bumped into the youngest one on the way out.

"Watch it Domino," he snapped half-heartedly. His family had been very quiet towards him when he announced he would be leaving soon. They would miss him, but it also meant more work for them around the restaurant.

"Sorry Sanjay," Dominic replied automatically. Already fully dressed, he pushed out of the bedroom to see his youngest sister, Anita, sitting on the floor crying. He immediately went other and say down, and she crawled into his lap.

"Do you really have to go Domino?" she asked, sniffing between the words. He patted her head and hugged her.

"Yes Anita, but I'll be back before you know it, and I'll have a bunch of Pokemon friends for you to play with!" he answered sweetly. She smiled and then escaped from his big hold and ran off. he stood up and walked into the kitchen, where his parents were waiting sullenly. Dominic sat down and picked up a piece of toast from the giant stack in the middle of the table. His father was reading the paper, and trying to sneakily peak at his son over the pages, getting caught every time. Humming emanated from his mother as she tried to look busy, like nothing important was going on. She did this every time one of her children left.

"Dad, we're going to have to leave pretty early if you're going to drop me off at Professer Oak's lab..."Dominic stated quietly, hoping not to anger his father. Dominc got another look over the paper, and waiting silently as his father looked at him.

"Yes, I suppose we'd better go son. Don't forget your pack," his father mumbled. At this comment Dominic's mother broke down and embarced her son in an unbreakable hug. He patter her back while frantcially looking at his watch. Eventually she calmed down and let him go. Him and his father got into the massive mini-van his family owned and headed towards Pallet Town.

They drove in silence, Dominic practically pouncing out of his seat in anticipation. His father smiled at him, slightly embarassed at his sons fidgiting. They arrived, and Dominic's father got out for one final goodbye.

"Dominic, you're a strong boy. You'll do amazing on your journey, but don't forget about us at home. Family is the first thing. Now, never be foolish, or take unnecessary risks. Its a dangerous world, be careful," were his father's last words. Dominic turned and walked towards the lab, watching the windmill slowly turn above the building. He was finally here, he was finally going to start his journey.

  • (OOC: Its Johto, not Jhoto....)
    Name: Bobby Baker

    Age: 18

    Gender: Male

    Faction: Villain-Giovanni

Appearance: Bobby is 5ft 6in and has a lean wryry frame. His curly brown hair falls into his chocolate brown eyes on occasion. His eyes sparkle with laughter but also show sadness. His face is weather worn but is always wearing a smile. His tanned arms, while thin, have hidden strength. He is also prone to slouching.

He is always seen with a pair of weather worn faded blue jeans with a pair of scuffed up brown hiking boots. He wears a black hoodie with the sleeves cut off. For each hand he has a pair of rough brown leather gloves with finger holes and to top it all off, Bobby has a pair of goggles that usually hang around his neck. These goggles allow him to see heat signatures, allow him to have x-ray vision, and let him see through bad weather.

Personality: Bobby has a cynical look on life. His parents were dead before he was 12 so he's been taking care of his brother and sister since then. While he likes to laugh, he sometimes gets this faraway look in his eyes as he remembers happier times. He loves Pokemon very much which puts him at odds with Giovanni at times, he will do anything to protect the leader of Team Rocket. Loyal to the end, Bobby sometimes trusts a little too easily.

History: Bobby lived a normal life. You know, nice house, two car in every garage, a loving mom and dad, 2.5 children. Very picturesque, very ho-hum. However while his parents were out driving one day they were struck by a speeding car killing them both instantly. The speeding truck was never found. Bobby was 12 when he took over the family. He dropped out of high school, had to get a job making socks, and had to learn had to fend for himself. When he was around 16 things wern't looking so good as Bobby and his little brother and sister were about to be evicted from the cheapest, dirtest, down right awful apartment in Jubilife City. While he was out looking for one last job that might bring in the money to save his family, Bobby was approached by a strange man. He called himself Giovanni and had seen Bobby perticapate in a gambiling Pokemon Ring. He said he was impressed with Bobby's skill and wished to help him with his problem. Soon Bobby and his siblings were living in a much better part of town thanks to Giovanni. Giovanni then asked Bobby to join him as a member of a little group he was putting together. Bobby then became one of his trusted Battlers. He could get things done. While Giovanni and Bobby were constantly butting heads over what they were doing to Pokemon, Bobby remained loyal to Giovanni because he still owed him for keeping his family safe.

Other Information: Bobby can play guitar rather well. Its helped him earn money.

    ---Pokemon Section---

    Nickname: None

    Species: Houndour

    Gender: Male

    Unique Appearance Traits:

Personality: Houndour was intoduced to Bobby soon after he joined Giovanni's group. The two have remained close with Bobby treating Houndour with friendship and respect after seeing some of the Pokemon that have been abused. Like wise Houndour holds Bobby in high regard willing to die for him if need be. Stubborn to the end, Houndour will not listen to anybody but Bobby and even then its a long shot.

Other: Likes spicy food and can track anything, even in rain.

    ---RP Sample---
(From The RP Chained: A Journey of Survival
"Ahhh..." Bobby groaned. His head was killing him! He sat up and rubbed his eyes and scratched his head. He vaguely remembered walking to the local grocery store to apply for a job when he had been hit on the back of the head. Bobby opened his eyes and could bearly see. He was in a small cave...no a medium sized dimily lit room. Bobby saw he was part of a circle of people ranging from middle aged men to boys whose voices haven't even lowered. In the middle of the circle were a cluster of Pokeballs.

Suddenly over an intercom system: "Why hello there, participants! I'd like to be the first person to welcome you all to this little shindig I got going on here. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to be down there with you. Actually, no. I'd hate to be where you are right now. Do you guys even know where the hell you guys are? Hahahaha!

Simple and to the point, we'ere outside of any common territory controlled by a major superpower of the world. Basically, we're secluded from the rest of the world, invisible to anyone with a map. There's only one way out and that's the one way in, but I don't think you'd want to go that way. Especially if you don't want to be crushed by tons of sea pressure or drown, whichever comes first.

So, let me clarify a few things. All of you will address me as The Director. That's one title. It's not Mr. Director, it's Mr. The Director, get it right. Anyway, welcome to The Game. There are a few of you here and I expect to be getting more willing participants soon. What's the point of this game you might ask? Just refer to the notes my assisstants so neatly pinned to each of your shirts. There are also Pokeballs on the ground for all of you. Pick one up and let one out. It'll be yours for the rest of The Game...maybe. Also, think about getting a partner. It'll save you a lot of hell throughout The Game.

So yea. That's basically what's going on here. Wait a second....ESSENCE! PUT THAT DOWN!" the Director said. Bobby raised his eyebrows. What the hell is going on? he thought

"Sorry. Essence is a little jumpy today. Anyway, refer to the note. Your task for today is simple:

You guys are situated at the south end of the arena--and the arena is huge, trust me--and you guys kinda have to get to the north end. How do you propose crossing five miles of terrain in a matter of minutes? Take the train to the...east of your position. It's about a fifteen minute walk. The train leaves in...thirty minutes, so if you're not there in thirty minutes, then too bad: the Mightyena will eat you alive. And it's getting dark soon, so you guys need to hurry. Ciao, princesses!"

"Awesome..." Bobby muttered. He took the note off his shirt and looked at it. It said "You are both connected...
    Make decisions carefully...
For each decision...shall impact the rest.
Survive. That's all you have to do...
    Survive."

"Right." Bobby said as he got up. The people around him were doing the same thing. They all looked at the Pokeballs.

"You know..." One guy began. "If you managed to get more than one Pokemon, you would have a huge advantage over the other players..." Everybody looked at him.

"Probally shouldn't have said that outloud dude." Bobby said. And on that note the race was on. There was punching and kicking as people tried to take Pokeballs. Bobby dodged the fighting and slid towards one Pokeball and managed to grab it at the same time a boy with yellow hair and wearing all black. The boy grinned evily and tried to punch Bobby, who saw he already had one Pokeball. Dodging the punch, Bobby threw his own which landed in the boy's stomach, causing him to drop the ball. "Much obliged!" Bobby cried over his shoulder as he threw the door open.

Bobby blinked, rubbing the dazzling light out of his eyes. When his pupils shrank he finally saw what was before him. An endless arid field with a train station in the distance. Dried up shrubs were everywhere and a few tumbleweeds floated pass. Knowing he didn't have much time before the others stopped fighting and began the trek to the train. As he started running along the field Bobby heard a sound in the air. "AROOOOO!"

"Crap..." Bobby muttered. He saw it was the Mightyena pack that the Director had promised. "Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap!" Bobby yelled when the started running towards him. Because he had been the first one out he was the first one the dogs started gunning for.

As they came closer and closer Bobby remembered he had a Pokeball in his had. "GO....WHOEVER!" he yelled as he threw the ball. Out popped a light blue crocidile like Pokemon. It had red spikes running down its spine and a yellow chest. It was a Totodile. "Nice!" Bobby exclaimed happily. He once had a pet Totodile when he was younger and so knew what to do with one. "Totodile use Water Gun!" A blast of water shot out of the Pokemon's mouth hitting the nearest Mightyena hurtlering backwards, knocking over a few of its comrads. "Nice!" Bobby said as he grabbed Totodile and continued to run. He slowed down when he saw the pack turned around and began to attack the other contestants.

Putting Totodile on his shoulder, Bobby slowed to a walk. He knew he was safe as he saw the train was close. This was a mistake. Two Mightyena ambushed him and Totodile. While one kept Totodile occupied, the other one began to menecingly walk towards Bobby. "Gulp."

Suddenly a purple balloon tackled the Mighteyna sending it flying. "Are you allright?" a middle aged man asked him as he helped Bobby up.

"UM...yeah." Bobby said brushing himself off. Totodile wandered over having taken care of his attacker.

"Good because I don't know what I would do if something happened to you!" the man cried. "I mean you looked the nicest one there and I felt so scared and you were so calm..." the man was rapidly becoming hystarical.

"Keep it together man!" Bobby said as he slapped him across the face. "Now look. We're almost to the train, so lets go get on it and then we can discuss whats going on." he said in his calming the kids voice. The man nodded violently. "My name's Bobby." Bobby said hoping to keep the man calm.

"Eli Weston Greer." Eli said trying to sound like he had a hold on things. The duo recalled their Pokemon and made the last few steps to the train. As they entered they saw they were one of the last to arrive. Finding a seat, Bobby and Eli sat down. Bobby nervously looked out of the train, wondering how his siblings were doing.

  • ArcanineOod- Rose seems like an interesting character. A mix of evil, happy, and totally loopy. Accepted. Also, to answer the visitor message question, yes.

    Pikakip- Spot reserved.

    Kyuu-chan- Charmander reserved.

    Century- Squirtle reserved.

Eos Aduro- I just watched the movie The Mighty, and your character makes me think of Max Cane. A few spelling mistakes, but readable. Accepted.

Zimvee- Thanks for pointing that out. For some reason I always think 'photo' when I hear the word Johto, so that spelling wormed its way into my head. Anyway, the character is accepted.

On another note, I am hoping for a minimum of eight people, and a maximum of ten. We are currently at seven, so there are three spots remaining. (assuming the reserved ones are accepted)

  • Name: Corey Sykes

    Age: 19

    Gender: Male

    Faction: Villian-Mirror B

Appearance: Corey is slender at 150 pounds but tall at a towering 6'6''. Intimidation is his goal, seeming to always have a menacing smirk or scowl on his face. His eyes are a cold, icy blue that could send a shiver down your spine. His body has a light tan, being that he is usually outdoors and on the move. He prefers to stay in the shadows, however, prepared for anything. His brown and wild hair hangs over his face and reaches his mid-back.
His clothing choice matches his personality, dark. He wears a dark blue t-shirt underneath a black hoodie, with QN splattered across the front, along his chest. He wears a necklace with his two prized possesions, his pokeball and a ring (with its own backstory). He wears a pair of black skinnies, torn at the ankles from use. His shoes are black, with purple duskulls across the sides and are also ragged from their age. He has snakebites and a tattoo across his back with the words Stand Up and Scream and Zangooses mark (on his fur) beneath it. To complete his look, he wears a pair of black sunglasses during the day.

Personality: Corey tends to have a dark look upon life, no trust, a care for one thing only, Z. He prefers to see a world of suffering. He loves the sense of fear in another person and he strives to see that in everyone, especially trainers. He also has a dark sense of humor and when he laughs, he is usually the only one around who will be. He prefers to be alone, not really willing to work with others, not even QN members. He takes his line of work seriously, being when they found him, he was broken, and showed him a way to let his anger out.

History: Corey was born and raised in Ecruteak City by an abusive father and loving mother. He was an only child, so he never really gained a sense of friendship. In his early childhood, he was usually the kid who sat alone, read, and was made fun of. His father was always pushing his mother around and hitting her whenever she even seemed to struggle against him. This was wear he gained his first veiw of hatred. By the time he was twelve, he was rarely home, usually just by himself in the shadows. Pokemon never really held an interest in his life until he was fifteen, the first time he was shown compassion and love. Jenny Stone was her name and the light Corey needed. She was the thing he needed to get him on a right track in life, to be his light in his darkened world. They were together always for the next few years. Then the day that would shut light away, forever. Jenny was forced to leave Johto, and Corey because her father, Steven Stone, who did not approve of Corey. They left, and Corey went into a downward spiral. This is where Mirror B. and the QN found him. They gave him a place to live, a future, and finally a friend, Z.

    Nickname: *optional* The Pokemon's Nickname

    Species: Zangoose

    Gender: Male

Unique Appearance Traits: Nothing too much different.

Personality: Z has the same dark tendacies as his trainer, both finding amusement in suffering. He enjoys battles and fighting and tends to be very confrontational. Even though he just was given to Corey, he feels the pain he's gone through and instinctally feels a bond. That changes when he's in shadow mode, where he is almost impossible to stop. His rampage is dangerous and Corey must always be aware. However, he kind of enjoys to see the torture Z can cause.

I'm just going to give you an example, I want a little more time to make a good post.
Maxi, hair blowing in the early-morning Johto breeze, was preparing another typical day with Clair. Blackthorn City was not completely roudy from their slumber but sleeping late was not something Maxi ever got use to. Out of nowhere a voice broke his train of thought.

"Honey, there's an important commercial currently on air, I think you may be interested in it," a skinny middle-aged woman shouted calmly.

"Really!?" Maxi exclaimed, his breath still visible in the cool, morning air.

He jumped off of his perch on top of a rock and flew inside his front door, nearly knocking his mother over. He threw his body onto his black leather couch, right next to his dad who had his usual morning coffee in hand.

"Hello young trainers. My name is Professor Alder, currently the new professor of the Sinnoh Region. As you may know, the Sinnoh League officially returns this year, and I am thus offering five young people the chance to recieve a starter pokemon and challenge this league. After all, the league would be nothing without trainers. I will issue these five, slightly 'different' pokemon to anyone who wishes to become a pokemon trainer. All are young, and perfectly suitable for the task. These are:

Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, and finally, Umbreon.

So hurry down to Sandgem Town. It's first come, first serve. Good luck young trainers - we're counting on you."

"Mom, dad, did you hear that, this is my chance, Maxi exclaimed, not holding back his excitement. I have to pack...oh my god there is no way I could make it."

"Don't worry son, I called in a special favor for you," Maxi's father said calmly after taking a sip of his coffee. And anyways ou have plenty of time to get there, it's still nighttime in Sinnoh, we just knew you ready to start your journey," he said with a smile.

Maxi leaped into the air, and nearly came crashing down on their glass coffee table. He rushed into his room and quickly packed. All types of items were tossed into the blue and black backpack he used for his training with Clair. He then said his goodbye to his room and walked out and down the stairs. His twin sisters came stumbling out of their room sleepily to see all of the commotion.

"What's with all the noise?" Monica asked rubbing her left eye.

"I'm finally starting my journey shorty," Maxi replied jokingly.

The two sisters threw their bodies around Maxi's legs, in a desperate attempt to stop him but they knew nothing would. He rubbed their curly black hair and bent down to give them both a hug. He then gave a quick hug and kiss to his mother who knew the thrill of beginning a journey all too well.

"Good luck son, show Sinnoh what Johto and the Sullivan family is all about," she said after a tight embrace with her middle child.

He then turned to his dad and gave a firm handshake and a hug.

"And show Griff what your made off," he said to his son jokingly.

"I will guys, don't you worry, I love you all," Maxi replied.

As he walked out his front door for the second time that day, his family followed and his mother tossed a round ball into the air. A rather large bird appeared and landed in front of Maxi.

"Take Minda, you will get thier in no time," she said happily.

"Thanks mom," he replied as he placed himself on the bird's lower back.

As they flew into the air he gave one last wave goodbye to his family, knowing it would be a good while before he saw them again.

"Alright Midna, full speed to Sinnoh and Sandgem Towm," he said confidently.

She hooted in responce and picked up her speed.

  • My very great thanks, Nano5002! I look forward to RPing!

I have to give my apologies, though; I'm on a camping trip all weekend, so I'll be completely inactive until at least Sunday night and possibly Monday night because I have a very important exam I need to revise and be well rested for.

    Name: Century

    Age: 16

    Gender: Male

    Faction: Trainer

Appearance: Century is handsome in the way that could draw you in, for better or for worse. He stands in at 5'11, not extremely tall for his age, but not short either. He feels rather tall, even thought many people are a bit taller than him, but he doesn't mind. He has jet black hair, which smoothly comes over his left eye as all his hair that comes down onto his forehead is pushed to his left, creating a bit of a fringe effect. He has sharp blue eyes, which can seemingly see right through people who fake themselves, as Century has a bit of a knack for that. Underneath his right eye, a deep scar is embedded into the semi-tanned flesh of Century. His five o'clock shadow is evident, making him look older than he really is.

Judging by his average build, you would think he would be on a pokemon adventure, as his average build would make him seem like a good candidate for an adventure. However, his build is rarely seem, as Century is usually seen in a black leather jacket, with a right breast pocket. Underneath his jacket is a shirt of his choosing, usually something in white, so it makes his outfit look more co-ordinated. He usually carries a black backpack which is slung over both of his shoulders full of supplies and food for both him and his pokemon. Over his shirt, a silver chain is visible. A plastic pendant in the shape and color of a Boulder Badge hangs from it, something with some significant meaning to it to Century. On the inside left side of his coat are holsters for his pokeballs. His pants are usually always ripped acid washed blue jeans, with large tears in the knees and a small tear on the right hamstring. His pair of black sneakers finish his outfit, worn with time.

Personality: Century isn't one for too many words. He will certainly carry on a conversation, but he will never let on about himself without persuasion. He knows when enough is enough, and tries to stay away from talking about himself, as he doesn't want to be figured out. He goes under the moniker 'Century' to keep people from finding out about him. Whenever conversation drifts about him and his past, he will always steer it in another direction.

He is very caring for the ones he is close to, as he is quick to form emotional bonds with certain people that attempt to break the surface with him in the right way. He cares deeply for his pokemon, and tries his very hardest to keep them in tip top shape, priding in his care of his pokemon. If he had to, he would give his own food and starve if it meant that his pokemon would be happy and fed. In battle, Century uses strategy and tries not to be rash, planning out the best moves possible so the battle goes in his favor. He will also show mercy on his opponents, not wanting to damage his opponents pokemon, trying to be as caring as possible. His commands seem calm as a slight breeze on a sunny day, never straining too much, and when he's losing, he never lets it show. However, he can show some cockiness when the battle is going in his favor, but he tries not to rub it in. Century's favorite type of pokemon is rock type, as he grew up in Pewter City.

History: Century was raised in Pewter City in the region of Kanto looking up to the local Gym Leader Brock, who was more or less his idol. Century was amazed with the way Brock would handle opponents with ease and show great pride in caring for his pokemon. A trait that Century wanted. However, he had no pokemon to do so with. Century was often seen at the gym, watching the gym battles against trainers who have travelled far and wide to challenge him. At age 14, Brock noticed him as a mainstay, and one day, offered to train Century. He was ecstatic. He went home to ask his parents if he could get trained by Brock, and they said no.

Century begged and begged and begged, but they wouldn't budge. This enraged Century, who wanted this opportunity so bad, but his parents said no because they thought pokemon 'promoted violence'. This angered Century so bad, he ran away back to Pallet Town, where he would get his first pokemon and begin on his quest.

Unique Appearance Traits: He has a small dent on his left side.

Personality: He is constantly curious. He likes to tinker with things, and is mischievous. He is very optimistic, and will sometimes try and hug people. For some reason, he can keep track of time to the Hour, Minute, and Second without a watch.

Other: He has a pathological fear of Walkie-Talkies, and has been ever since he was little. He is sometimes referred to as "Coil" but it is not his nickname.

    RP starter; Ok, here goes nothing;

I finally got home that day with Dad. We used to have 60 clients a day, now we have 4. There were alot more computers in Goldenrod. "ROTOM!!" my father's Rotom happily said, as he was eating from the Electric plug. "ROTOM, TOM?" It asked. It sounded like it was saying my name. "No Rotom, leave me alone right now." "RO... TOM?" "Rotom, just let me be." I wasn't adjusting to school, and I decided to take the League Challenge. Luckily Recievement Day was Tomorrow. "Tom," my Father started "We've got a Client from the Local Police station. Let's go." I got my bag and went out with my dad...
"BRRRIIIING!! BRRRIIIING!!" Ugh... the alarm is always blaring. I turned to my side and fumbled for the "silence" button. Where is it? I finally clicked it and went back to bed. How long did I work last night?"TOM MAMORU, COME ON, GET UP!!" my Father yelled from downstairs. Even worse. I pulled myself out of the bed to find that Today was Receivement Day. I got my clothes on and ran into the bustling city.

  • Name: Isis Regan

    Age: 10

    Gender: Female

    Faction: Trainer

Appearance: Isis has a Kantonian-Sinnohian lineage that goes back for many generations. This is evident in her hazel eyes, common in said regions, and her fair complexion. She was born with crimson hair and she is very much like her mother, as she dresses the same as what she did when she was fourteen.

Having wished to inherit her father's height, she is of a pathetic stature at five feet and eleven inches. Despite that and her average figure, she does not look harmful, for there is a gentle undertone to her eyes.

She prefers to keep her hair perfectly trimmed and long, the tips of which touch the middle of her back. Her favourite outfit is her red, skin-tight, short-sleeved shirt with her blue miniskirt. In addition to that, she wears grey socks, yellow and purple slip-on shoes, her black and purple hat – and carries her bright yellow backpack with the imprint of a Poké Ball on the side everywhere she goes.

Personality: Like her mother, Isis is impatient, but she does not share any of the other traits. Instead her persona is more of the 'speak only when spoken to' type. Isis is not a bully, but has been bullied, which explains why she is so distant. At times, she is lazy, but that is only in the mornings when she doesn't want to get out of bed. Other than that, she is a hard worker and does her share of the jobs around the house.

History: Isis and her identical twin sister, Rhea, were born in the quiet Pallet Town to Josephine and Arthur Regan. Being the first born by two minutes, Isis was spoiled considerably more than the younger Rhea. Rhea was more sociable than her somewhat introverted sister, but they would fight like Darkrai and Cresselia; Isis was the Darkness and Rhea the Lunar Moon — they fought so roughly one time, Josephine and Arthur had to take Isis to the Viridian Hospital for severe bruising to the neck area.

Things continued like that until they were four, when they learned of Gary Oak's elevation to Gym Leader of Viridian. A few days before her tenth birthday, Isis' parents told her that Professor Oak had a starter Pokémon ready for her. However, she could only start her journey when she actually turned ten.

Other Information: Isis is very much interested in the legends of Pokémon and, like Cynthia, hopes to see one eventually.

    Nickname: Scarlet

    Species: Charmander

    Gender: Female

Unique Appearance Traits: Scarlet has a scar over her left eye, rendering her blind in that eye.

Personality: Scarlet has a modest nature, prefers lazing around, and likes sweet food.

Other: Scarlet ended up blind in one eye due to a fight another trainer's Houndour picked with her. His claws gouged her left eye. Not knowing she was injured, Professor Oak left her untreated, infection reared its ugly head and before she knew it, she'd lost her sight in that eye.

    My RP Sample:

    Josephine's POV

My eyes trailed the path in which Paul's coffin was being carried. The thick wood of his coffin was glossed so well that it reflected light off its surface. I had to watch Superintendent Tyler, Paul's mother, polish it over and over again with her tears as a substance to clean it. She stood there all morning just polishing off the surface. I can remember the circular motions that she made with her clothes within the grief stricken trance. Now she was alone.

The coffin was set down before us while my hand was tightly grasping Arthur's fingers. Why, just why did it have to end like this? The world was barren now for all of us; a woman without a child, teens without a friend, and the world with one less Chosen. I couldn't bring myself to look at his body. Katie had said that he looked dashing in clean clothes, yet the paleness of his skin gave me the bleak reminder that he was no longer with us. I clenched my hand tightly to my chest. A part of me was still with him.

The sun had created something of a mist-like veil of light that showered the preacher as he spoke. The man's prayers and sermon almost felt like a blur as I watched. He spoke of how we should not grieve his death too much and how he was in happier place. Happier place… my mind choked on those words. Why did he have to leave to be happy? Why couldn't he be with someone he loved? He could have shared his life with someone like Misty who was now painfully watching this grim scene unfold.

After the preacher's last words left his lips, Tyler took the head of the small group. She stumbled upon herself as the tears streamed down her face. Everything was collapsing on the woman's face. The tears came down in rivers. Why did it end like this? I asked myself as I tugged tightly on my black dress.

"Today… we lay to rest a young man… who wanted to become something greater and be better. His life may be cut short, but his dreams will live on in all of you. Paul is with you and he is watching," his mother bit her lips. "Let him live on and let him become something great."

Those were the last words of the elegy. She soon fell to her knees, as they began filling the plot with dirt one shovel at a time. With each plot of dirt, my heart fell even deeper into the abyss below. I didn't realize that my own tears stained my dress. It pitter-pattered against my dress like rain drops.

"They will pay for his death," I murmured to myself.

"Yes… they will pay…" Arthur reassured. He wrapped one arm around the back of my neck. I needed something warm because it felt so cold. "You're strong…" Arthur rubbed my back.

    "Not strong enough," I replied.

Those three words sent Arthur into a nonplussed state. His eyes just locked onto the last plot of dirt filled as the grave keepers patted with the back of their shovels. Katie, Rachel, and Arthur then wrapped their arms around me suddenly. I thought I would feel empty since Paul wasn't in this embrace. However… it felt like he was there — wrapping his thin arms around me.

"We will get them…" Rachel spoke. Her tears mixed with mine on my dress.

"Yes," I let out a deep bit of air. "Yes we will…"

Misty slowly approached the grave, watching Tyler place a row of flowers on it. Charles helped her gain the strength she needed to give that final goodbye; he gently guided her to the gravestone. When she got there, she fainted under all of the pressure. Charles managed to catch her before she hit the ground despite his condition. It was a very disheartening scene. Though a part of me was with him; all of her heart was with him. The loss sent her to unconsciousness.

They were not going to get away with this. Everything felt so wrong, like nothing any of us imagined. Team Rocket… this is my vow. You will never get away from the people that you hurt. We will find you and we will put an end to all of this.

  • Hi there,
I'm new to the site, but I think I know my way around RP in general. [Please be patient with me : ) ]
I'm not sure if there are any spots available still, but if so, please let me have that Pikachu starter Pokemon and I'll get on posting my character sheet immediately.

  • IceDragon2439- The past seems a little cliche, but as they say, 'The Sue is in the Writer, not the Character'. Your sample is good (in my opinion), and the character is described well, so you're accepted. Also, you forgot to type in the Pokemon's nickname 'Z' into the Nickname spot.

ArcaninOod- No problem, the villains don't get much real actiony stuff until later (at least the third Gym), so you won't be missing too much here.

Century- The character seems fairly good, as does the sample, but just so you're aware, you used male pronouns to describe the female Squirtle. Any who, accepted.

ChristTom- Your SU is a tad short (although mine was as well), and Magnemite is a Pokemon for the Villains side starters. The grammar in the sample isn't that great either. Remember: Each new speaker begins a new line. For now, declined.

Kyuu-Chan- The character seems good, the sample seems good, so you seem good, so it all seems good, so it is accepted, that good? ... Sorry about that. I was attempting to be comedic.

Stan the man- Grammar isn't that great, and it is 'Giovanni', so far as I am aware. The first sample isn't bad, but for now it is declined.

Lilac Mist- Ah, then welcome. I am fairly new (seems like I'm not, but I wasn't around for about a year after the RP I was in died and I got bored of the internet) as well. If I kept count properly, I think there is still one open spot. Unless that's pikakip. No, no, I'm pretty sure there's a spot open. Reserved. And so, until pikakip and Lilac Mist get their SU's up, sign ups are closed.

  • Name: Eric Clowde

    Age: Sixteen

    Gender: Male

    Faction: Villain-Mirror B.

Appearance: Eric is approximately 6'2" and has two separate eye colors, one teal with a darker shade of indigo, and one crimson with a lighter shade of red. He has black to dark brown hair depending on the light, and a large smile. He is pretty much an average teenage youth in size and facial expression, yet has no facial hair.

His average wardrobe is a dark brown shirt with a Lugia on it, a pair of light blue jeans, and a belt around it which he carries Pokemon in poke-balls on, though while he is traveling, he also wears a black jacket with an orange poke-ball on it and a dark blue backpack with a poke-ball symbol on it.

Personality: Eric is quick-witted and very accurate, yet is somewhat psychotic which makes him a reliable tactician, like if you played him in chess, he could think up calculations as if trigonometry was dust and calculus was basic addition in a matter of seconds. He may seem like a very optimistic guy, yet if you get on his bad side, he will make life hell for you in ways that you never would've imagined possible. He also prefers to make peace not violence yet will resort to it if absolutely necessary.

History: Until age ten, Eric lived a relatively normal life, but that was before he got his first Pokemon. When he did, he found out that he could beat an opponent without so many problems, so long as they weren't like him, or better for that matter. He made his way up into the elite four with ease and became champion at the age of thirteen. When he heard of Team Rocket at age fifteen, he enlisted immediately, after being beaten by Gary who was later defeated by Red, and made his way up to Giovanni's most trusted admin in a matter of days. However, once the team disbanded, he returned to his home on Cinnabar Island and helped his parents with their own work. However, he left when he heard of QN and enlisted immediately. He finally met Mirror B who he looked up to for being able to generically enhance a Pokemon to be like a shadow and have complete control yet also with stronger move sets, and also started to work his way up the team again.

Other Information: Plays the violin fairly well and has been playing ever since he was nine.
    ---Pokemon Section---

    Nickname: Kairi

    Species: Shadow Dragonair

    Gender: Female

Unique Appearance Traits: Instead of trademark smokey gray eyes like a normal shadow Pokemon, she has teal to crimson eyes depending on the light, and her mood. She also has a scar from one battle where she was cut deeply into her cheek.

Personality: Jolly Nature, likes dry food, likes to wander. Kairi isn't your typical shadow Pokemon as she is quite upbeat, like her trainer, and likes to daydream. She is also very social and had been abused as a Dratini.

Other: Hates Poke-balls and has been traumatized, because of her abuse, to a whip

    ---RP Sample---

As a Pidgey flew by, the mid-teenage boy thought, Why am I watching for this? while leaning against a nearby tree. It was true that he was a former Rocket admin at age fifteen, yet he still was only sent to watch four young trainers receive their new Pokemon, as they had come of age. He was also thinking of tactics he could have used to avoid doing so, yet he had a reputation to protect, so he just followed orders.

Eric was well known in town so he had to keep a low profile as he hated attention unless it involved some sort of strategy game or a talk with someone superior to him. While he may be Giovanni's top Rocket admin, he still is regarded now as a QN grunt, which he doesn't understand why. Although he still does need to own up to him for changing loyalty to Mirror B, he doesn't need to clear anything else up with Giovanni.

Although he's known for having with him his champion team, he only has Kairi with him for now. He hopes to see more new opportunities to become another admin, yet he isn't sure if he will make it before another disbandment. Well, better check it out again, Eric thought to himself as he walked in towards the crowd.

When he reached the front of the crowd, he was surprised at who he saw because he thought they would all be the same age. As he retreated back to the tree he was leaning against, he saw Rose, leaning against the tree across from him. Well, well look who's here, he thought as he closed his eyes again.

He woke up at the bottom of the tree to hear a cheer from the crowd. He saw who had which Pokemon and hoped that he was done, yet he knew there was more to do. He walked over to Rose and said, "Hey Rose."

That is my post. I hope that it's good even though you already said no SUs until lilac and pikakip had posted again. I will also change from Shadow Dragonair to a different Pokemon if you wish.

  • In case I don't finish, I will be using Zubat...

    Name: Jeffery Roberts

    Age: 22

    Gender: Male (duh)

    Faction: Villain-Mirror B. (Dance Ludicolo!)

Appearance: Jeffery's look is often described as 'rugged' or 'tough'. He is fairly tall and well built, and he wears clothes that reflect this. He has a rectangular face that is heavily accented with thin pink scars. His shaggy hair does little to cover these, so he usually covers his face with ninja-like scarves. Everything above his nose is generally left uncovered, so he can at least be identified by those close to him. He tends to wear layers of clothes, usually keeping something heavily padded on the top, such as a bullet proof vest. He always wears gloves-the thick work gloves made out of leather- and heavy Camo pants. To top it all off, he wears steel-toed combat boots. While they may not always be seen, Jeff always keeps weapons on him. Four knives were kept in his vest, two strapped to the back of his legs, four kunais in his sleeves and an assortment of shurikens along his back.

Personality: Even though it would be considered stereotyping, Jeff's personality is often described similarly to his physical description. He's rough, tough, and full of his own opinions. Although, if you only had one word to describe him with, it would be ruthless. He feels little remorse for anything, and he has very few 'friends'. His ability to interact with others is fairly limited, and he is considered to be 'cold' by everyone, except corporal. Jeff is a stone, closed to all but himself. He uses his lack of feeling for various jobs, some that would rip a normal man apart, Tear families to pieces, jobs that require true and unfeeling souls. If one ever wanted to tell if these tales were true, they would only have to look into his eyes, and feel their cold, deadly, malice.

History: When he was raised in pewter city, Jeffery was a happy child. He grew up, lived, loved, and lost. Little is knnown about him in his early years, and there is only a brief outline. At first, he was considered to be a joyful, happy child. He had normal relations with his parents from the time he entered kindergarten, to when he finally left 7th grade. There was an 'event' during that summer, and it was what started the timer. His relationship with his parents grew rockier as time passed. He eventually turned completely inward, and he ran away, never to be seen again by anyone other than those that hid from the law: The criminals.

Unknown to the rest of the world, Jeff continued to live, hiding himself from the light of the 'Justice'. He relished his new life, no one looked down on him, no one judged him. He could do anything, be anyone, and not be judged or punished. He began to do jobs for some of the other criminals, and his reputation grew...By the time he turned 16, his name was known throughout all of the black market. His job? Assassination. He was working for the most powerful group of criminals in his area. The Black pidgeys. They hated those that betrayed them, which was just what Jeff decided to do. when they last saw him before he escaped, he gave them a message: "I only did this to prove a point. I can do what I want, and none have the power to stop me." Jeff escaped the pidgeys, and fled to another continent: Orre.

It was mirror B that drew Jeff to Orre. Mirror B had an air of power, something that Jeff felt pulled toward, just like a magnet. It was the Air of power that dragged jeff towards him, power that could give power to another. This kept Jeff interested, kept him from just making an attempt on mirror B's life. Jeff did the odd job in Pyrite town, until he began getting rep again. Jeff knew that eventually it would cause the bigger clients to fall upon him. He slowed down, but that didn't help at all. Eventually a larger gang caught up with him, giving him a reward that he could not refuse: A pokemon. Jeff took the job aroud the time that Cipher broke up. He reaped the rewards for his job and took the next job available, before heading to the police. He turned his gaze towards Kanto, for that was where it was to begin...

Other Information: He is an excellent knife thrower and he never misses. EVER.

    ---Pokemon Section---

    Nickname: Coporal

    Species: Zubat

    Gender: Male

Unique Appearance Traits: Corporal has a slash accross his wing and chest, along with a chip on his lower left fang.

Personality: Serious nature, proud of its power, likes it bitter.

Other: Corporal enjoys Rigorous Training sessions and the sense of being bad. He is slightly Sadistic, and is also slightly masochistic.

  • Name: Lilian Roivas
    Age: Sixteen
    Gender: Female
    Faction: Trainer
    Appearance:
Lilian has a 5'7 very thin, classical ectomorphic frame with a pale complexion. She has dark blue, shoulder-length hair, more straight than not; usually adorned with a long black silk ribbon. Teal irises. Definitely the type that looks after herself but highly conservative in her aesthetic choices – her make up subtly accentuates her features, revealing clear, oval facial structures reminiscent of classical cathedral statues. Her gaze is always "flat" and downwards – detached.

Wearing a plain skirt and a long-sleeved shirt, stockings and knee-high boots; all in a near-identical shade of black. No, she wasn't goth: Lilian wasn't ornate or excessive or even "artistic" for that matter, but strictly stoic in her designs in a nigh-mechanical fashion. Few accessories: a purple bracelet on her left wrist and two or three silver rings – a matching purple pokewatch on her right.

Black and purple cylindrical sports bag carries everything she might need for the trip, medkit, pokeballs, town maps, etc.

    Personality:

Lilian projects an aura of stoic austerity and exactitude. Although quiet, she is incredibly willful, ambitious and just as calculating. She is neither shy, nor easily intimidated. Thankfully, she is quite observant of social etiquette, lightly warming up that "ice queen" persona most people inevitably stamp on her. In terms of defects, she is not likely to stand up for what is "right" and doesn't always understand the moral undertones of certain actions; although an incurable skeptic at heart, Lilian never falls into the dark realms of cynicism or pessimism but efficiently maintains an impersonal, non-dramatic and impartial attitude in most endeavors.

    History:

An early immigrant to Pallet Town and to Kanto for that matter. Her wealthy family was originally from SnowPoint City in the Sinnoh Region and chose to move because they were exhausted of the cold weather. The Roivas Household was a luxurious environment to grow up in. Lilian had nothing to complain about: she had loving parents, maids and servants, a stable family life and a sheltered life. From an early age, she was taught to love etiquette and was raised to be a strong, independent individual. The combination of her status, character and demeanor nurtured emotional resistance among her peers in school. Stubborn and ambitious, she decided to forget her schoolmates and confront the whole world directly with her intellect and willpower alone. Lilian announced her plans to become a pokemon trainer and was met with support and mild amusement from her parents, thinking it was merely a "Teen phase".

    +Pikachu
    +Female
+A purple ribbon above her right ear.
+In contrast to Lilian, this female Pikachu is very sweet and affectionate. Prefers dry food. Slightly vain.

    ------

    Opening Post:

"Father, Mother, I'm leaving." Lilian concisely stated at 8 o clock in the morning. Her parents were still in their massive king-sized bed, barely conscious.
"mmrf… alright, sweetheart, good luck out there. You have your cell phone, credit card and your keys, rig-"
"Yes, Mother. I will make sure to call now and then. Please do not worry about me. I also trust you will not take my departure as a sign of defiance against either of you." she interrupted coldly.
"...a sign of… well of course not, sweetheart." Half-protested her father.
"Excellent, kindly look after one another's health in my absence, if you please." She stated as she left through the door.

The first rays of the sun pierced the sky of a brand new day. A day where she will receive her first Pokemon from none other than the famed Professor Oak.

Yet for all the excitement she was supposed to be feeling, Lilian felt a little inadequate about the entire ordeal. She was sixteen years-old, most pokemon trainers started their journeys at a much younger age – in a way, she was already late to the party.

Her eyes focused on the pathway to the Laboratory, her walk: decisive and directed towards the small mass of people gathered at the entrance. To her relief, she saw trainers that were taller and looked older than her. Murmurs would erupt here and there as people began to notice all that black she was wearing "Oh, there's that rich Roivas girl." Someone said in a slightly condescending tone. This was after all, Pallet Town. Everyone knew everyone. Thankfully, people's interest in her waned and everyone focused on their lovely children going off on a Pokemon journey. Lilian stood behind the people, arms crossed, waiting to be summoned in.
