I challenged the elite 4
Lorlei gave me problems, but I made her give up the ghost
Bruno gave me no problem with slowbro
agatha was toast with my psychic on slowbro and earthquake on marowak
Lance was finished after a couple ice punches and ice beams from jynx
My rival was cremated with my level 60+pokemon

Another update! :D

- Managed to catch a female Skitty that I nicknamed Meow. It happened to have the same exact nature as Sidney, which I found amusing. I love its Cute Charm ability, which has made me appreciate this particular Pokemon.

- Training the three team members (who I'm going to have for a good while now, considering my next three are ages away) was difficult, as Roxanne was incredibly difficult. I had to do various training sessions and had to adopt a strategy of healing and switching out. When I finally managed to beat her, it was glorious.

- Sidney's ability is really irritating.

- Did the little Team Magma quest to get back the Goods.

- Went off to Dewford.

- Beat Brawly easily with Mothma's Confusion (and Gust to spice things up a bit). Has unofficially become my team's powerhouse, as the other two party members haven't had a decent battle for a while. Hopefully soon they will.

- Got Flash and met Steven. Surprised at how he thinks I can be a Champion after only getting two badges.

- Saved, ready to play more later.

I deeply apologise if this update I'm giving is really small. I was busy doing other stuff that required attention and didn't get the time to play it long.

---

> Travelled back to Viridian Forest and did some training till Holly evolved into Nidorina.

> Went back to Pewter City and healed my team. Also went back to the Poké Mart and sold all my Poké Balls and bought 1 Potion. Challanged Brock again.

Gym Leader Brock

Geodude: Used Growl 5 times to lower it's attack so that whenever it used Tackle, it would only take 1 hp out of Holly. Managed to hit it a few time with Poison Sting... but after it spammed Defense Curl to death, Poison Sting refused to hit. Managed to knock it down after a tiring battle and nearly losing PP for my Scratch.

Onix: Used the same tatic as I did with his previous pokémon but I lowered it's Attack power 6 times with Growl. I done a few Poison Sting's to it, and whenever I poisoned it, Brock managed to use his Full Heal's on the same turn. I still kept spamming PS on him as he used Bide, and took little health off me. Used a Screech on me lowering my Defense two levels, but it kept failing when he tried it again. Managed to knock it out after losing my PP in Poison Sting, and nearly lost the PP on Scratch. Also wasted 1 Potion fighting Onix.

- Recieved Boulder Badge.
- Recieved TM34 (Bide).

> Left the Gym and healed my team at a Poké Center. Also took Squirtle out of the PC.

Played for 3 hours yesterday, and got sleepy. Now I can post my first update.
- Started the game, named my character Gold and went to Prof. Elm's Lab.

- Chose Totadile and grinded to get to Lv10 before heading to Mr. Pokemon

- Received my Pokedex from Oak and started to head back to Elm's Lab.

- Easily taken out my Rival and named him Silver (aren't I original?)

- Arrived in Violet City and traded a bellsprout for Rocky the Onix, decided to box it since it disobeyed my commands even after getting the Zephyr badge.

- Traveled through Union cave and caught a wild Onix, grinded both pokemon to Lv23.

- Skipped through Azela so I could catch an Oddish in the Ilex Forest, trained it to Lv23 as well and got it to evolve into a Gloom.

- Went back and kicked Team Rocket out of the Slowpoke Well and beat Bugsy.

- Trekked through the forest and grinded my team to Lv26 just before arriving in Goldenrod.

- Beat Whitney, and headed to Ecruteak City.

- Met Bill and backtracked to Goldenrod to pick up the member of my team, Eevee.

- Grinded my team to Lv31 and beat all the events in Ecruteak, badge and all.

Got another update to post. I promise it's bigger than the excuse of an update I did earlier. :)

> Travelled to the Poké Mart in Pewter and bought 8 poké Balls.

> Defeated all the trainers on Route 3. Also managed to capture a Spearow (no nickname) which wasted 2 Poké Balls and killed my Squirtle. Entered the Poké Center outside Mt. Moon and healed my team. Also deposited Squirtle into the PC.

> Entered Mt. Moon and did some exploring searching for items and defeating every trainer. Also caught a Clefairy and nicknamed it "Malon". Used my Moon stone on it and evolved it into Clefable. Picked the Helix Fossil. Also blacked out once in Mt. Moon of a Rocket's Raticate.

> Arrived in Cerulean City abd healed team at a Poké Center. Also sold a Rare Candy, HP UP, and 4 Poké Balls at the Poké Mart. Bought 12 Potions. Travelled north of Cerulean and ran into my Rival.

Rival Green

Pidgeotto: Wasn't much of a problem but did some damamge to Holly with a couple of Quick Attack's and a Gust. Finished it off with 3 Water Gun's, and 2 Scratch's when it's HP was low.

Abra: Hardly a threat as it's only move at the time is Teleport. Switched out to Malon and finished it off with 3 Pound's.

Rattata: Lowered Malon's defense while managing to land 1 Pound into it before it nearly killed her with 1 Hyper Fang flinching her. Switched out Holly and finished it off with 1 Water Gun.

Bulbasaur: Hardly a threat since all it did was spam Growl & Leech Seed's. Went down after 7 Scratch's.

Previous post

Got time for a quick update, before I finish for the night.

- Sidney was a little hard to raise for a while and was fairly weak at various times and was my lowest levelled Pokemon for a good while, but things are fortunately a tad easier since he evolved into Vigoroth. It's nice to have him not loafing around every two turns, even if it's only going to be for a short while.

- Beat Team Magma at Slateport.

- Did the first part of the Trick House.

- Got beaten by May once (only because I hadn't healed my Pokemon, honest), but beat her again afterwards. Ruby only reminded me why I hated her character in the game so much. She's so irritating and the worst rival to date (although Lyra is much more irritating).

- Now at Wattson's Gym and the Magnemite and Magneton are way too difficult to beat. With no super effective moves, this is going to be extremely difficult. I'm going to have to train all my party members to Level 30 I think before I can do any damage.
