  • Before anything else is said, I know I have another thread like this, but that one is 6 months old or so, and I do believe its against the rules to revive a thread that old.

The purpose of this thread is so I can have an evaluation of my current team. Please suggest any move that are proper for the pokemon. If you need anymore info, then please ask.

Anyways my team is as follows:

    Giygas (Spiritomb):
    Sucker Punch
    Pain Split
    Pursuit
    Curse

    Gemiken (Starmie):
    Ice Beam
    Thunderbolt
    Psychic
    Surf

    Jaws (Garchomp):
    Outrage
    Earthquake
    Swords Dance
    Stone Edge

    JackieChan (Hitmonchan):
    Mach Punch
    Ice Punch
    Thunder Punch
    Close Combat

    Plantosaur (Tropius):
    Roost
    Fly
    Safegaurd
    Energy Ball

    SolidCobra (Arbok):
    Crunch
    Glare
    Earthquake
    Gunk Shot

So yeah, if you have any suggestions for these, then please post them.

I see well then Id say its an average team then because it seems you have balanced evs instead of say like a special attacker or outspeeder..

  • The EVs do seem balanced I would suggest different natures
Spiritomb: Any nature that doesn't boost it's awful speed
    Starmie: Modest or Timid
Hitmonchan and Arbok: Adamant or Jolly

  • Ok, thanks for the Natures that would be adequate for those pokemon.
The only reason I'm not concerned that their EVs aren't shifted to more of one stat than to another is because all of them have Flawless IVs.

I'll post any other teams I have later.

A brave nature Spiritomb is an ok way to go. Spiritombs aren't very fast in the first place but they do learn a lot of physical AND special moves. It all depends on what you want to use it for. Like for a sweeper then maybe brave or mild is ok or jolly for a physical sweeper. It all depends on what you are using it for. What are you using it for? Wall, Physical/Special sweeper, Stall, Setup....

  • I don't really know what to classify it as. I have noticed it can take out the first pokemon in a party, but it often gets its HP either halved or in the red zone. However, if I'm able to use pain split, it can recover a large chunk of its HP (if the other pokemon has more HP), and then take out the othe pokemon. This can actually go on for a long time.
