    Rotom-A@Leftovers
    252 HP / 176 DEF / 80 SPD
    Bold Nature
    - Rest
    - Sleep Talk
    - Discharge / Thunderbolt
    - Will-o-Wisp / Reflect

    Rotom-A@Leftovers
    252 HP / 176 DEF / 80 SPD
    Bold Nature
    - Pain Split
    - Discharge
    - Shadow Ball / <Signature Move>
    - Will-O-Wisp / Reflect

Reflect if you are using T-Spikes since W-O-W conflicts with it.

I guess I wil use the ResTaker as it absorbs status.

I thought of this idea for a Politoed tank that i'll be using in my UU RainDance Team, i'm not sure whether it will work and any feedback would be highly appreciated.

    Kermit (Politoed) @Chesto Berry
    Adamant Nature (+Attack, -Sp.A)
    200 Sp.D, 252 Hp, 56 Attack
    ~Belly Drum
    ~Rest
    ~Ice Punch
    ~Waterfall

So what it's basically meant to do is to set up Belly Drum, then use rest. The Chesto Berry will then wake it up and it will proceed to cause massive damage to the opponent. What do you think?

The whole point of a Belly Drum Politoed is to sweep, so there's no point using Rest, or a Chesto Berry, and, I don't really like Politoed in general, but if you insist on using one, use this set.

    @ Salac Berry
    Water Absorb
    Jolly Nature (+Spe, -SpA)
    252 Atk, 6 SpD, 252 Spe
    30 HP IVs
    - Belly Drum
    - Substitute
    - Waterfall
    - Ice Punch/Return

This set allows you to Belly Drum, in a sub, trying to max your speed for a sweep.

Personally, I wouldn't use Politoed, especially in a Rain team, since there is plenty that can outrun this set, even with the max Speed and Salac berry. If you still need a Physical Attacker that needs to be fast, I'd Recommend using this thing.

    @ Leftovers
    Swift Swim
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SpA)
    252 Atk, 6 Def, 252 Spe
    - Bulk Up
    - Waterfall
    - Ice Punch
    - Crunch/Brick Break

This thing still has minimal set-up but gets that much wanted speed boost in the rain.
Crunch or Brick Break is really up to personal preferance. Crunch gives you type coverage over Alakazam, but Brick Break stops others from ruining your sweep.

It's meant to be able to take strong Special hits and Deal out strong physical hits, it's a tank. I don't need a sweeper like the ones you posted. Also, i am Dead-Set on using Politoed.

Well I guess its Muk which would help you :

    Muk @ Black Sludge
    Nature : Careful
    Ability : Sticky Hold
    EVs : 252 HP / 80 Def / 176 SpD
    -Curse
    -Poison Jab / Gunk Shot
-Brick Break / Ice Punch / Fire Punch
-Explosion / Shadow Sneak / Rest.

this is your ideal special tank for UU.

Politoed doesn't really work that well as a tank while taking hits at the same time.
If you really want a tank, take a bulky water, like Gastrodon or Quagsire.

Cant i wait untill next year to help you ? ~_~ lol

But yeah you want Low Kick, prolly >> Explosion or steel types and Cacturne etc totally shut you down.

Use a Life Orb, Sash sucks on anything bar leads (which shiftry should NOT be doing), SR, Spikes, T-Spikes, weather all make it useless.

Cress can't do Calm Mind and a defensive set at the same time, otherwise it's totally useless. Get rid of Calm Mind and Charge Beam/Psychic for Thunderwave and Reflect so it doesn't die to Pursuit or Scizor's U-Turn. Or if you still want to run Calm Mind, change your EVs to 96 HP / 252 Special Attack / 160 Speed with a Timid Nature to at least take advantage of the Calm Mind boosts.

Calm Mind adds on Sp. D too... So why can't he use it on a defensive spread? i use the same ev spread with calm mind on my Mesprit and it works perfectly, just remove some of the attacks and replace them with walling moves. Oh, and give it a defensive nature like Calm or Bold.

Oh I was wondering if Everstone would work when Ditto breeding.

P.S. wouldn't Charge Beam+Ice Beam be good on Cress?

So, if i made this moveset?
    -Ice Beam
    -Psychic/Charge Beam
    -Moonlight
    -Reflect

I can understand why CM isn't the best choice... but why should i take off Charge Beam/psychic for thunder wave?

That set looks like you're looking to tank. Charge Beam > Psychic so you can get SpA boosts and get that BoltBeam coverage. Moonlight to increase longetivity. To take care of TTar you need to get +2 HP Fighting or use Sunny Day to take away Tar's SpD boost from Sand and increase the usefulness of Moonlight.

T-Wave is more for a status set. T-Wave, Lunar Dance, Reflect, Light Screen, Magic Coat, and Gravity are all good support moves for a Cress.
