I recently have receive this pokemon :

Salamence (Naive): Flawless; EVs: Sp. Att 6, Sp. Def 252, Spd 252

How would I go about training it? Is there a certain way to train flawless pokemon or I can train it like I would any other pokemon?

Well hun, if the Pokemon already has full Effort Values, there is no point in training it at all. o: Dunno why someone would put max Special defense onto a Salamence, anyways..
But yes, a Flawless Pokemon is still a Pokemon, and should be trained as such.
I would recommend breeding it, because parents often pass down there flawless IV's to their children.

Well it's not level 100 yet so it doesn't have those stats yet but maybe it's for when it will be level 100. Right now it's level 64 with 215/197/127/166/150/212. What would you say to that?

It is still already fully EV trained, dear. :c Unless you feed it a lot of Grepa berries, this Salamence is a lost cause.

I have a Modest Empoleon with EV set of: 252 Special Attack/252 Speed/4 Defence

What would be a good moveset for him?

    Empoleon @ Petaya Berry
    12 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA / 240 Spe
    Modest Nature
    - Agility
    - Substitute
    - Surf / Hydro Pump
    - Ice Beam

Agility, Sub to activate Petaya Berry and Torrent and mash things with your attack moves. Works good with Toxic Spikes support it which cripples other water types and Blissey.

    OR

    Empoleon @ Life Orb
    12 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpA / 240 Spe
    Modest Nature
    - Agility
    - Grass Knot
    - Surf / Hydro Pump
    - Ice Beam

    Agility +3.

    Fire Wolf

it's as humid as a sauna, boy!

  • Which Skarmory is going to be better this Gen? Maxing out it's defense is always a good choice, but with all of these damn dragons running around (hi, Latios), would it be better to max out the special D to help take special dragon attacks better?

  • Should my Treecko learn Energy Ball or Dragon Pulse? Once it has fully evolved of course. I'm currently EV training it Speed and Special Attack.
Energy Ball, because it's a reliable STAB (Same Type Attack Bonus) move. Having both moves at the same time isn't a bad idea too.

  • Well, that nature isn't too horribly bad. Increase in Speed and decrease in Special Defense, Jolly would be much preferred, but when you are talking about a shiny, natures don't tend to matter. :3

Anyways, that would also tend to go by his ability~ If it is Guts, congrats. If it is Run Away, I must apologize. :c I will post movesets for both, however~

    Guts:
    Item: Toxic Orb/Flame orb
    EVs: 252 Attack 252 Speed 6 HP
    Moves:
    -Facade
    -Sucker Punch
    -Protect/Swords Dance
    -Reversal/U-turn

    Run Away:
    Item: Life Orb
    Evs: 252 Attack 252 Speed 6 HP
    Moves:
    -Swords Dance
    -Return
    -Quick Attack
    -Crunch

    OR

    Item: Salac Berry
    Evs: 252 Attack 252 Speed 6 HP
    Moves:
    -Endure
    -Reversal
    -Return
    -Crunch

TECHNICALLY, all of these movesets will work for a Guts Raticate, so choose which one you like the most in that case, but the first is more recommended. :3
It is Guts, should i use Calcium to raises it's sp.atk?
