OK, I'm building another team, hopefully, this one is better than the last one:

    Kingdra~Modest~ @Petaya Berry
    Ability: Sniper
    Hydro Pump
    Ice Beam
    Dragon Pulse
    Dragon Dance
    EV's 252 Sp Attack/126Defense/126SpDefense

I'm thinking of making Kindra my team leader/Special Sweeper It's typing gives it coverage against ice, which is good. and Dragon Pulse does good damage+Stab, same for Hydro Pump

    Ursaring~Adamant~@Life Orb
    Ability: quick feet
    Brick Break
    Shadow Claw
    Ice Punch
    Swords Dance/Bulk Up
    EV's: 252Attack/252Defense/6HP

Ursaring is my Physical Sweeper in this team. Brick Break gives it coverage againts rock/normal types, Shadow claw incase any SP attack Poke's are thrown in, like Alakazam. Ice punch for Dragons/Birds that can cause serious damage for my team.

    Togekiss~Modest~Soul Dew
    Ability: Hustle
    Aura Sphere
    Air Slash
    Shock Wave
    Roost
    EV's 252SpAttack/252SpDefense/6Speed

Since it's ability is Hustle, I gave it Aura Sphere, because it never misses+Hustle boosts power.

    Blissey~Bold~Leftovers
    Ability:Natural Cure
    Thunder Wave
    Seismic Toss
    Softboiled
    Psychic
    EV's:252Hp/252Defense/6SpAttack

    Spiritomb~Gentle~
    Ability:Pressure
    Dark Pulse
    Shadow Ball
    Calm Mind
    Torment/Taunt
    EV's:252SpAttack/252SpDefense/6Defense

    Donphan~Adamant~
    Ability:Pickup
    Stealth Rock
    Rapid Spin
    Earthquake
    ????(Sugestions with 4th move please)
    EV's:252Attack/252Defense/6Speed

    Ursaring~Adamant~@flame orb
    Ability: quick feet
    facade
    Shadow Claw
    Ice Punch/EQ
    Bulk Up
    EV's: 252Attack/252Defense/6HP

Ursaring is my Physical Sweeper in this team. Brick Break gives it coverage againts rock/normal types, Shadow claw incase any SP attack Poke's are thrown in, like Alakazam. Ice punch for Dragons/Birds that can cause serious damage for my team.

Togekiss~Modest~ dunno what item to use but why soul dew?
    Ability: serene grace
    aura sphere
    Air Slash
    Fire blast/flame thrower/Shadow ball
    Roost
    EV's 252SpAttack/252SpDefense/6Speed

Since it's ability is Hustle, I gave it Aura Sphere, because it never misses+Hustle boosts power.
Hustle boosts power of physical moves only so it doesnt affect aura sphere

    Blissey~Bold~Leftovers
    Ability:Natural Cure
    Thunder Wave
    Seismic Toss
    Softboiled
    ice beam
    EV's:252Hp/252Defense/6SpAttack

    darkpulse
    Calm Mind

    EV's:252SpAttack/252SpDefense/6Defense
I love this set as its so destructive and good at killing big sweepers

    Donphan~Impish~lefties
    Ability:Pickup
    Stealth Rock/Knock off/Roar
    Rapid Spin
    Earthquake
    ice shard

    EV's:252HP/252Defense/6atk

    Kingdra~Adamant~ @Life Orb
    Ability: Sniper
    Hydro Pump
    Outrage
    Waterfall

    Dragon Dance
    EV's 252 att / 236 speed /24 sp.attt

I gather you dont know what Dragon Dance does ? Take advantage of it, your evs make no sense.

    Ursaring~Jolly~@Toxic Orb
    Ability: quick feet
    Close Combat
    Fire Punch
    Facade
    Swords Dance

    EV's: 252Attack/252speed/6HP

Take advantage of Facades side effect, STAB and Toxic Orb which also activates quick feet. Close Combat > Brick Break. Fire Punch >> Ice Punch. Again wtf @ your evs.

    Togekiss~Modest~Leftovers
    Ability: Serene Grace
    Aura Sphere
    Air Slash
    Nasty Plot
    Roost
    EV's 252 HP / 152 Sp.A / 104 Spe

No, just no. Hustle doesnt effect special attacks and sucks nor does Soul Dew effect ANYTHING bar Lati@s. Again evs lolwut?

    Blissey~Bold~Leftovers
    Ability:Natural Cure
    Thunder Wave
    Seismic Toss
    Softboiled
    Flamethrower
    EV's:252Hp/252Defense/6SpAttack

    Psychic sucks.

    Spiritomb~Careful.~
    Ability:Pressure
    Taunt
    Sucker Punch
    Pain Split
    Will-o-Wisp

    EV's:252 HP / 144 DEF / 112 SP.DEF

    :/

    Donphan~Impish~
    Ability:Sturdy.
    Stealth Rock
    Rapid Spin
    Earthquake
    Stone Edge / Assurance
    EV's:252HP/252Defense/6Speed

Ughh there is so much with this i dont know where to start.

Ill just give you some advice.

Firstly i suggest doing some research before rushing head long into things, namely what certain moves and items do. This will benefit you in the long run.

On defensive pokemon you max out hp in 99.9% of circumstances.

Too many set up sweepers is never a good thing.

Your evs should reflect what the pokemons role is. Not just allocated randomly like on Kingdra and Ursaring mainly, who are sweepers yet you give them def evs ? That is beyond pointless.

Team is metagame weak anyways, we have a team building guide AND a threat list in the stickies i suggest you use those you will find them helpful.

    Ill link you here too.

Can anybody help me with this?

    Skarmory
Moveset: Agility, Spikes, Whirlwind, Stealth Rock

Basically, it needs to boost its speed a bunch, lay some spikes and stealth rocks, and continuously whirlwind pokemon in and out. Of course it won't work on flying types but... How do I keep him alive that long? I can get rid of either spikes or stealth rock if necessary, and I'm not usre whether to use leftovers or a focus item. And should I give extra HP IVs or Sp.Def, since fire and electric are his main weaknesses?

Thanks for any help, I'd really like to give this moveset a try.

It is best to post EV spread and nature, since it does matter a lot on how the moveset works. Anyways, I would suggest Roost over Agility so you wall out certain Pokémon while you are trying to set-up your entry hazards. It also allows you to last longer, and maybe set-up again if the opponent Rapid Spins your Spikes and SR away. Using SR or Spikes depends on what your team needs. Leftovers is better than Focus Sash (Focus Band relies WAY too much on luck), because SR makes sure that you do not have 100% HP before the opponent attacks for Sash to work. Even if SR was off the field, it is inferior to Leftovers due to Skarmory's bulk.

Also, do not add extra EVs in SpD (you should have max HP EVs regardless though), it limits your use to wall physical stuff (which is what Skarmory is supposed to be doing), and Pokémon with decent SpA will OHKO or 2HKO anyways.

This is a fun Pokemon I've been using on Shoddy just for the novelty of it. Any suggestions to make it better?

    Victreebel@Leftovers
    Jolly
    Cholorophyll
    252 Spd/252 Atk/4 HP
    Leaf Blade
    Sleep Powder
    Swords Dance
    Substitute

Basically, you set up a sub, sleep and then SD up. Leaf Blade will be tearing through teams before you know it. This guy has the potential to take down two or three guys if set up correctly. You can go for Adamant but then you won't be outspeeding much. Still, Sunny Day support is a huge, HUGE plus with this set. Sub can be replaced with Return for more type coverage or even Sunny Day if you don't want that to be the theme of your team (then of course Heat Rock would be a better item I guess :/) but I prefer sub for the staying power. Lefties helps compensate for some of the HP cut from Sub. Yeah, that's about it :D

While Sleep Powder can be effective, you're better off using Sucker Punch. It gives you some much needed coverage and ensures you aren't totally walled by pokes that resist your STAB. The priority is also cool.

Also consider Life Orb > Leftovers, as Victreebel will need all the power it can get. Don't worry too much about survivability as it's pretty fragile to begin with.

So to sum it up: Bring Victreebel in on something it can scare, Substitute, Swords Dance, and try to sweep stuff. Keep in mind that Cacture arguably runs this exact set much better.

A quick pair that would go nicely with each other.

    Magnezone @ Focus Sash
    Mild
    188 Atk/252 SpA/68 Spd
    Explosion
    Mirror Coat
    Thunderbolt
    Flash Cannon

Focus Sash almost gives an advantage to every one of Magnezone's moves. 1) It can Explode before its knocked out (OHKO almost guaranteed). 2) Mirror Coat will ALWAYS be a OHKO on anything that isn't named "Blissey". Thunderbolt coming off a 394 Special Attack stat plus STAB is pretty much an OHKO on Blastoise, Dewgong, and possibly Tentacruel without that Calm set. Flash Cannon will always 2HKO if not 1HKO Regice. Thunderbolt is your only option when going against Registeel if it ISN'T running that hardly used Special Attacker set. The good thing for Magnezone is its poison immunity when it can wall Blissey (although it can wall back) if it doesn't however go out with a BANG and KO that thing.

You really shouldn't be concerned about Blastoise, Dewgong and Regice when it comes to your calculations. :(

That's basically LOStar, don't run Psychic as the coverage is crap.

Starmie@ Life Orb / Expert Belt
    EV : 4 HP / 252 SpAtk / 252 Spe
    Nature : Timid
    -Hydro Pump / Surf
    -Thunderbolt / Grass Knot
    -Ice Beam
    -Recover

    That should work ;)

If you're raising a pair in the wild, one battling and one in the party holding Exp. Share, are the Effort Values split between the two or given only to the battler? Same with double battles, do they split EVs or get none at all...? Any response is appreciated--

Each Pokemon will get the same amount of EVs and it won't be split. If you KO a Pokemon that gives 1 HP EV and a Pokemon in your party is holding an exp. share. They will both receive 1 HP EV. Same if it were 2 EVs; they would both get 2 EVs each. Make sense?

Yeah, makes complete sense. It's a small detail, but it doesn't look like it's included in any FAQs or the like. Thanks
