Well this is my transitional team so to speak from friendly battling to competative. So pointers on where to fix the lineup would be greatly appreciated.

    Dragonite
    Item: Choice Band Nature: Brave E/Vs: 252 Atk/158 Def/ 100 Hp
    Move-Set:
    Ariel Ace
    Outrage
    Earthquake
    Aqua Tail

Position in the party was usually as a tank to start things out, cause from his training ( though friendly and not competative competition) he can usually put a good hurting on anything and take a Dragon type shot to the face and still be able to get off his outrage.

    Swampert
    Item: Leftovers Nature: Relaxed E/vs: 152 Atk/252 Def/ 56 Hp/50 Spec Atk
    Move-Set:
    Earthquake
    Stone Edge
    Ice Beam
    Surf

Used mainly as a physical wall with big moves to lay a hurt on whatever he comes across.

    Electivire
Item: Choice Scarf Nature: Hasty E/Vs: Didn't follow at the time
    Move-Set:
    Fire Punch
    Thunder Punch
    Cross Chop
    Ice Punch

A physical sweeper that's job was mainly just to do some quick damage, maybe get a cheap KO here or there, but really more just clean up.

    Toxicroak
    Item: Choice Band Nature: Adamant E/Vs: 252 Atk/252 Spd/ 6 Hp
    Move-Set:
    Sucker Punch
    Poison Jab
    Stone Edge
    Cross Chop

Another physical sweeper built around baiting out the over used Alakazam or Gardevoir and knocking it's head off with a Sucker Punch. And things that aren't Psychic still take some nice damage from him.

    Snorlax
    Item: Leftovers Nature: Sassy E/vs: 252 Spec Def/202 Hp/ 56 Atk
    Move-Set:
    Earthquake
    Giga Impact
    Toxic
    Body Slam

The special wall with the ability to just sit back and watch you die thanks to Toxic, or a paralyze from Body Slam, and in desperate situation can hit you pretty hard with a Giga or Quake.

    Houndoom
Item: Choice Specs Nature: Modest E/vs: 252 Spec Atk/ 252 Spd/6 spec def
    Move-Set:
    Flamethrower
    Shadow Ball
    Dark Pulse
    Hyper Beam

Special sweeper who is fairly balanced but instantly taken down from an Earthquake or heavy hitting physical atk.

So like I said, this team is in transition... so any and all comments would be helpful.

Well, imma allow this because S+M is about learning too after all.

    Dragonite
    Item: Choice Band Nature: Brave E/Vs: 252 Atk/158 Def/ 100 Hp
    Move-Set:
    Ariel Ace
    Outrage
    Earthquake
    Aqua Tail

    Salamence@Choice Band
    252 ATT / 252 SPEED / 6 DEF
    Adamant Nature
    - Outrage
    - Fire Fang
    - Aqua Tail
    - Dragon Claw

Fully physical salamence outclasses nite always with platinum. Aerial Ace isnt needed and lacks coverage even though it gains stab, besides you already hit everything for neutral with the above set. D-Claw for early game and to scout counters without locking yourself in and Outrage for late game sweeps.

    Swampert
    Item: Leftovers Nature: Relaxed E/vs: 252 HP / 252 DEF / 6 SP.ATT
    Move-Set:
    Earthquake
    Stealth Rock
    Ice Beam
    Surf / Roar

This evs were eh. Stealth Rock is needed, also LEAD WITH THIS.

    Electivire
    Item: Choice Scarf Nature: Hasty/Jolly E/Vs: 252 SPEED / 252 ATT / 6 HP.
    Move-Set:
    Fire Punch
    Thunder Punch
    Cross Chop
    Ice Punch

Scarf Vire =o! Well since you are Gyara weak i guess this will work.

    Toxicroak
    Item: Choice Band Nature: Adamant E/Vs: 252 Atk/252 Spd/ 6 Hp
    Move-Set:
    Sucker Punch
    Poison Jab
    Stone Edge
    Cross Chop

    Lucario@Life Orb
    252 ATT / 252 SPEED / 6 HP
    Adamant Nature
    Inner Focus
    - Swords Dance
    - Close Combat
    - Extremespeed
    - Crunch

As much as i love Toxicroak, Lucario does outclass him in pretty much every department. Dont use too many choicers, 2 is fine, but getting your whole team locked in isnt really good tbh.

    Snorlax
    Item: Leftovers Nature: Adamant Nature
    252 ATT / 252 S.DEF / 6 hp
    Move-Set:
    Earthquake
    Selfdestruct
    Fire Punch / Crunch

    Body Slam

Try offensive lax, its pretty sweet. Dont use Hyper Beam moves. EVER.

    Houndoom
Item: Choice Specs Nature: Modest E/vs: 252 Spec Atk/ 252 Spd/6 spec def
    Move-Set:
    Flamethrower
    Overheat
    Dark Pulse
    Hidden Power Fighting

Dont use Hyper Beam ever, it just leaves you as set up fodder. HP Fighting hits Tar and tran who are two huge counters to this. Shadow Ball has redundant coverage with dark. Overheat plz.

Ok, well you are Scizor weak and i have to say that speaking of Heatran, i would actually put that >> Houndoom because it is kinda better and does give you an outrage resist too. Id not choice it though since you already have a few choicers and getting your whole team locked in is annoying. So use orb tran.

    Heatran@Life Orb
    4 Hp / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
    Timid Nature
    - Fire Blast
    - Dragon Pulse
    - Hidden Power [Grass]
    - Earth Power

    Mence
    Pert
    Vire
    Lucario
    Lax
    Tran

    ^something like this.

i wouldn't keep cross chop on electivire on a scarf set. the idea is for it to be a surprise kill. you'd probably be better off with Earthquake to hit heatran, metagross, lucario, other electivire, etc for assured kills.

not an effective set as it'll be pointless the minute they figure it's a scarf set. i'd much rather run a scarf flygon set who has tpunch and covers vire's resistances and more. better defenses and has u-turn to boot.

I agree with D_A, Houndoom is not that great. Change it to Heatran. Also, I agree with Samson. Flygon is much better than Vire (w/ scarf and tpunch).

    Swampert wants lead.
