Facebook let them have the messages, which is why "Delete Facebook" has been trending.
I have no way to describe this. They're essentially ending this kid's life over something that was out of her control (a miscarriage).

And this is the reason why the people saying that the issue of abortion will fade off the news between today and the midterms in November and not reappear ever again don't really understand the endless possibilities for nightmare stories of children getting sentenced to decades in prison for aborting.

As seen in Kansas, if there were referendums about the issues, legal abortion would win in over 45 states. But, you know, the modern Republican Party is built on the idea that democracy is a dangerous thing that should be avoided as much as possible.

It's become harder for some here in the states to get medicine for chronic health conditions now in the post-Roe world. The American College of Rheumatology, the Arthritis foundation, the Lupus Foundation of America, Crohn's and Colitis Foundation and other medical alliances have released statements about how their patients are being impacted by the court decision. The medication that is often used the treat the medical issues mentioned is methotrexate. It manages many different illnesses, especially autoimmune conditions.

However, it's flagged because in high doses it can also end pregnancies, and in the medical world it is sometimes used to stop an ectopic pregnancy by disrupting the growth of the cells. This isn't the only or primary way that methotrexate is used though, and it wasn't designed as an abortive drug, but because it's possible to use it as one, people who have been taking it for years to manage their conditions are suffering, as there are health insurance providers deciding to not make it available anymore, doctors not wanting to give it to you if you are capable of bearing children, and even if they do write the prescription pharmacies can still refuse to fill it.

The thing that's especially scary is that this medicine is also a treatment for lukemia, and many other types of cancer. I shudder to think of what would happen if someone needed chemotherapy, but had also become pregnant. Hospitals might refuse to start treatment until after delivery, and those months might be the difference in you living or dying.

Banning life saving medications is just plain evil. No other way to put it. It's like they're blaming them for having cancer. A perfectly healthy person can get Leukemia.
