Self-Destruction Tactics Thread

This thread is not discussing item usage and this thread IS discussing competitive play.

But rather than Self-Destruct, Explosion, I believe is more preferable as it does more damage, unless anyone can convince me otherwise. Destiny Bond is also a good option. Mememto is an awful suicide move.

Possible Options:
Wheezing
Gengar (DB)
Cloyster
Golem
Electrode

Which one is best and are there any more options?

Possible Stall Options:
Blissey / best in terms of hp
Shuckle / best in terms of def

Do you think a self-destruction team is capable of doing well against non-legendary teams? If any of you have thoughts, opinions, or ideas, let me know.
