Aethereus: My first ever shiny. I got him as a wee little silcoon in my Emerald game, which thanks to this club I found out was RNG broken. I'd been playing for 2 hours at most that day. Got him near the beginning of the game in that first forest, or just south of it. It's kinda obvious (I think?) that he wasn't the result of broken RNG abuse since he has no max IVs and his nature, unfortunately, is Brave, and he's my only shiny from Emerald. Still, my first shiny, how can you not love your first shiny?
I let someone clone him a few months ago, but the original comes from my old Emerald game before I restarted it (Rena 06878).
My very next shiny wasn't until X (though I only beat Emerald early last year, then Pearl, then left Soul Silver to play in X with Black and B2 just being started enough to get several dream pokemon).
Tarthienne: Caught her as a Karrablast just south of the fairy gym city (in X) before facing that gym leader (ie before the shiny charm). She's hardy with max HP and speed. I let a few people clone her but the original comes from me. I think the clones were still named Vlasta. If you get a copy of her and want a name change, just send me a message and we'll set up a temp trade for a name change.
Her name is a squashed and flipped tribute to Brienne of Tarth from The Song of Ice and Fire series. Vlasta is named for a female warrior from a slavic myth. I put too much thought into my names maybe >.>
Pteros: My first ever MM shiny, done without the shiny charm while breeding for the very first order (technically just before) in my shop. I let two other traders have clones of him, but the original is mine. If you get a Pteros, you can send me a message and I'll happily rename him for you. He was one of my first IV breeding attempts, and built competitive, as is clear from the fact that the only IV not at max is his speed and he has a very nice Jolly nature. I always mean to keep track of how many eggs it takes and end up losing count and give up. I was breeding Pteros for a few days though, hatching at least 30 eggs a day (probably more than that). I'm pretty sure it was under 200 eggs though.
Ipheion: 3rd shiny, 2nd one via masuda method. This one was obtained after I beat the game and got the shiny charm. Hatched him up while I was breeding a 5-6IV polar vivillon in a dive ball for an order in my shop. No one has cloned this one. Not sure I want anyone having clones of my shinies anymore. Or in the future I'll just make sure the original's name is different from the clones'. I actually wasn't far in the breeding chain with this one. Bred competitive with a timid nature missing only HP and special attack IVs for a max. I name all my vivillons after plants/flowers (most varieties come in blue or white).
Gallifrey: My first ever TSV shiny from a recent trade on pokecommunity eith EeveeArmy who is breeding eevees trying to get a shiny of each eeveelution but didn't want this one. I don't plan to include other TSV gains (probably) but this was my first and I was so tired when I hatched it with my other eevees that I thought it was my 3rd MM shiny and gasped and got all excited and surprised like I usually do until I remembered I got a TSV eevee too...no...wait...this is the TSV eevee and then I just had to laugh at myself. Still, thanks to that over-tired hatching moment this one holds the same amount of affection as my personally hatched/caught shinies do. I plan to evolve him into a sylveon (he is modest with max IVs in defense and special attack sporting his HA).
Named Gallifrey because he is wearing a bow tie, bow ties are cool (actually...I still don't like bow ties, sorry Doctor), and Doctor, Eleven, or anything involving Matt Smith I could think of just didn't sound right for a sylveon name. These are all references you won't get unless you watch Doctor Who. I thought perhaps custard instead but it didn't seem right without the fish fingers.
I have a few shiny clones and about 5 event shinies but I don't know, guaranteed shinies so long as you show up where they're given just don't seem as worth the time to write about to me, so I only include luck-generated shinies. My list is not long, despite how much TLDR I put into the descriptions lol.
