    Simple really.

    Have you ever listened to a song and it has made you cry?
    ~Do you have an emotional attachment to it? Does it remind you of something?

    Have you ever watched a TV show and it made you cry?
    ~Do you feel something for that person or thing on the show?

    Have you ever cried watching a film?
    ~Did you become so engrossed in the film, that you felt one with them and you emotions got the better of you?

    Fullmetal Alchemist, at Hughes' funeral, I cry every time. T_T It's so sad!

    I've never cried to any American movie before, i have to a couple Japanese/Korean drama/romance films though.

    Mainly these two:

    "My Girl and I" This is a Korean drama film that i heard on an Asian movies forum, that i decided to download and watch considering i'm one for romance and love. So i ended up watching it and fully enjoyed it. At the end, i did end up crying and i did get teary throughout some of the film. Probably one of the best Korean movies i have seen.

    I actually forget the second one, but anyway. At least i remember one of my favorites.

    The movie that makes me cry is Click. (The Adam Sandler film)

    The scene where he is running throught the rain dieing trying to tell his son to always make family number 1 priority just kills me everytime.

    Songs and TV shows don't usually do it for me, though.

    Not because its made for it.. I dont cry if things are sorta written to be sad but when my aunt was dying of cancer i stayed by her bed in the hospice (Home for cancer patients on thier death ved) for 5 days and myslf and my family had the radio on and that song was played. The whole way through. Nobody turned it off because everybody knew each of us was reflecting on memories... So for 5-6 minutes there was pure silence and we all had our minds fixated on how much we were gonna miss her. At this stage she was just sleeping 24/7 or just had her eyes closed unable to reply...
    But she was like a mom to me and that song just brings back all i reflected upon and all i miss about her. It was a sad moment but i've never had an experiance that brought me so close to my family and so close to who i really am. It helpped me let her go in the end.
    Look at me going on and on ^_^ I'm sorry guys i got caught up in the moment!
    But yes hallelujah. It made me cry!

    I generally don't cry for fiction.

    I have read some non-fiction books such as Night by Elie Wiesel that invoked an emotional reaction.

    haha, I do that often xD sometimes its because of the singing when I play guitar, and sometimes its because I'm sad.

    yes to that too. There are scenes that always make me cry. like in star wars episode 3 when obi wan is cutting anakins legs off and he burns. ;; or in star trek, when data dies. horrible.
    but I laughed my butt off when leo DiCaprio died in titanic. that was hilarious.
