• Nathaniel sat silently in the helicopter as he tried to process the events that seemed to have swirled around him. His initiation, the start of his training, the unfortunate cafeteria accident and now this, his first mission! He was more than a little excited, but he was also extremely nervous. He knew that he wouldn't be alone, but what if he messed up? Would he accidentally end the world as he knew it?

He did his best to not think about it as he looked out of the nearest window. Soon enough, he didn't even know what he was so worried about! With his cubone by his side, he knew that there wasn't anything to get worked up over. He was so confident that he wouldn't even notice if someone came and sat beside him...

• Steve looked out of his window, inside the room he had had at the Astral Tower for the past two years. He reviewed his time with the Legends Guard without much standing out, he wondered how much longer he would have to wait before he was given a large assignment. He sighed and continued looking out the window, barely noticing the chopper coming towards the tower.

• ((OOC: Sorry about being so late, with exams coming up soon, several projects, trying to turn in all of my work on time in order to boost a C+ to an A-, plus PokeCommunity suddenly stopped working for a bit (GrifSpark, you gave me your virus~! D=) It's been hectic. x_x))

Miharu sighed as she tugged on the sleeves of the uniform that was required for the members. Although it was quite loose fitting and made it easy to do exercise in, there was something about the uniform that made her umcomfortable. She was used to wearing her own clothes that were quite different from the uniform. She at least wished that the uniform would have been black, blue, or a mixture of both.

As of right now, she was boarded on a helicopter since Hunter, the boss, had asked, no commanded, them for a new mission. She looked around the helicopter in which they were all seated on and saw quite a different range of emotions. Nervousness, determination, blank looks, confidence, to name a few of them. She herself was one of those with a blank look, but felt slightly strange inside. Miharu really couldn't tell what that emotion was, but it just felt strange. Of course, she felt weird that she had only two pokeballs on her at the moment, Bishamon and the Eevee which has yet to be named or perhaps never named, but throughout her travels, she always had seven pokemon with her. Yes, seven. Although many trainers traveled throughout the regions with six pokemon, you could petition to your professor to give you a recommendation to have more than six pokemon on you. Miharu had done so after Johto and Oak agreed, as did the Pokemon League. Although, you were still only allowed to battle with six pokemon in any of the leagues, gym battles, or even trainer battles. But still, she had traveled with seven pokemon at a time, so it felt slightly odd that she only had two pokemon on her right now.

And most recruits could only have one, thought Miharu amused.

Miharu had been quite adamant on having at least Bishamon on her, and Hunter let her only under one condition; to not use Bishamon unless in a dire emergancy. She agreed, and then here she was, on a helicopter with several new recruits and slight olddies, traveling to Kimuto for a mission.

She just really hoped for two things; one for not to be recognized, and two for it not to deal with legendary pokemon. Although seeing legendary pokemon was a rare occasion, and Miharu had seen her fair share of legendary pokemon, plots usually involving legendary pokemon were usually annoying enough as it is.

• Shreds of Time, #0I'm riding shotgun!

Taking off the jacket of his 'uniform', it was quite clear that Grim felt more comfortable without it. His usual clothes, which he wore underneath, where much more comfortable, and probably more practical. His shirt underneath was a shade of dark purple, and while some might have thought that him wearing purple may have been a little odd, he didn't care. It was however, a little odd, although more likely just to be thought of as a coincidence, that Grim's first Pokémon was purple too. A tiny violet scorpion rested on Grim's shoulder, both eyes closed, and an expression stating just how little interest it had in the situation. The scorpion in question was Atunick, the Gligar. Grim's first, and currently only Pokémon. Grim on the other hand was ecstatic. The two of them were currently sat in a helicopter, surrounded by other Legend's Guards, and were ready to take to the skies. They were needed over at the Kimuto Region for some job or another. Grim wasn't truly paying attention if he was honest, but he had overheard something about a tower, and after a quick scan of the internet the night before, the most important 'tower' in the region was called Astral Tower, believed to have some relevance to time, although Grim gave up reading any further than that...
Who was he kidding? Grim was far too tired to really care about what was going on at the moment, so he let his eyes drop for just a second, and almost mimicked the expression of 'can't be bothered' which his Pokémon did remarkably well. He seemed to be one of the more laid-back of everyone in the group, as most of them showed some sign of emotion. Confidence, excitement, maybe even fear? Ugh, he didn't really care. While Grim was honoured to take part in such an (well, assuming it was) important mission, he just wasn't in the right frame of mind.
Atunick seemed to perk up as he heard the rumble of the propellers spinning. "Gli?" he asked, although slightly rhetorically, before lifting his head and gazing out of the window.
They were still on the ground, but never the less, it was a start. The Ground/Flying type soon grew bored of the engines rumbling and propellers twirling, and then fell back asleep on Grim's shoulder, throwing them back into stage one once again. As a Gligar, Atunick was rather small, and while that meant he wasn't as physically strong as some others of his species, he was much, much faster. A useful asset to any team was one who was almost impossible to hit. Atunick filled that spot perfectly. Although, currently, he was the only member of Grim's team, which would put him at a disadvantage against others. But he guessed that was one reason he was here, to train and catch more Pokémon. Maybe something a bit more physically orientated would be a useful choice? Or something which could real off Psychic attacks? One that was primarily offence definitely, no question about it. It was around this time, that Grim had realised that they hadn't taken off in a while, even though everyone seemed to be on board.
"We are experiencing technical difficulties, please stand by..." muttered Grim slightly jokingly.

• Draco was very confident that he was going to star this mission. Perhaps too confident, but something as irrelevant as that could not bother him, because, well, he's too confident. He had pulled a couple of all-nighters--plus who-knows-how-many hours--doing research on the Astral Tower and Dialga, the first physics guardians that he would meet. He was lost in thought, which wouldn't be a new thing for him. He had his eyes closed and his face rested on both palms while his elbows leaned on his knees. Near his left foot sat his Banipucchi. Banipucchi also had both eyes closed, but for a different matter. He was too bored. For a while he had been in the Legend Guards, and the missions didn't even put a semi-permanent graze in his anywhere. And they say Banipucchis are weak, he thought.

...

Draco opened his eyes. He had fallen asleep while thinking about this and that. Only now had he noticed the people on board had been given the same task. He knew everyone there.

The girl with the Gallade...
The old legendary Gym Leader person...
The clumsy new recruit...
Oh! I know that guy!

And then the chopper stopped spinning. Draco glanced out a window and saw solid ground. Then he saw the object that towered above it...

• Set stepped onto the helicopter.
He was glad he had a new mission, but didn't show it on his face.
He saw some older recruits, a few who he knew the names of, Miharu Mizushima, she had combated most of the leagues there were, Grey Rose, a legendary gym leader, and a few new recruits, 'Grim', he seemed like a laid back sort of guy, Set heard him make a joke; 'We are experiencing technical difficulties, please stand by...' he smirked.
The other one he knew was Nathan Thompson, who had come from a rich family, and could be instantly recognized.
Hunter, the mission admin, looked at everyone, before stating they would wait a while before taking off.
Shreds of Time - PG13 RP

Set sat down in an available seat, and took out a map of Kimuto.

They would be heading to Astral Tower, and, if all went well, they would go to Disentra city, south of the island, stay the night, and get picked next afternoon, giving them time to enjoy the city.
He nudged Grim.
'So, what are you gonna do in Disentra?'

Grant ran toward the helicopter as the blades started spinning. He wore his normal suit and fedora, today he wore grey gloves, and his suitcase was held tightly in his left hand. Snorunt was holding onto Grant's hat tightly with her tiny hands. Then the blades stopped and Grant slowed his pace to an average walk. He entered the helicopter and sat down behind Miharu.
He literally had just come back from the Isshu region. He and all his pokemon were tired, he was only told he was going strait on another mission when he got back and Hunter was the mission admin this time. Yet, he decided to not talk like he normal did and took off his hat, and placed it on his hat upside down so Snorunt could sleep in it as he fell asleep.

• Shreds of Time, #1 – Helicopter trip.

It seemed that one or two extra people were climbing onto the helicopter. He could have been sure that there were not this many people in the meeting stating a day or two ago stating that the group would be going on this mission. Oh well, it didn't really matter. The more the merrier, providing someone here isn't a total killjoy. Grim was in fact, looking forward to one part of this mission, since he had a feeling that the main objective of the mission was completely ridiculous, and the chances of them helping a legendary were slim. Grim had heard stories of the Legend's Guard saving Pokémon so rare they were thought of only as legends, but this was Dialga they were talking about. Why would a creature so powerful it could control time need help from anyone? Grim seemed to take notice as a boy next to him pulled out a map of the Kimuto region. He didn't really know a great deal about the place, other than the fact its capital was Disentra City. Grim had knowledge of one or two other useless facts about the place, but they weren't hugely important. To be honest, he kind of hoped something would go horribly wrong, and only one of his random pieces of trivia would see them through. The region of Kimuto wasn't hugely interesting. The mainland bordered the south and east of the region, while the ocean in the middle was dotted with varying sizes of island. Most were some-what inhabited, although one or two were simply too small, or too dangerous for that to be possible. All in all, a fairly ordinary region, albeit slightly water-logged.
Atunick growled slightly in his sleep, tossing and turning. "Gliga- gar..." he grumbled, before seemingly losing whatever he was dreaming of and calming down.
Grim felt something nudge him in the side, causing him to turn to the specific side. It was the person who had held open the map earlier. Grim raised both eyebrows and had a slightly confused expression on his face. "Uh, huh?"
"So, what are you gunna do in Disentra?" he asked.
Disentra, as Grim had just been thinking before, was the capital of Kimuto, and by far the most populated town in the region. It just so happened to be the closet to Astral Tower, which made it the helicopter's landing point so they could get to this tower safely. On the note of what he was going to do in the capital, Grim really had no idea. He had heard that it was quite well equipped when it came to shopping, so it might be worth searching for an evolutionary stone of some kind. His sister had been bugging him to help her find a Water stone, so this might be the chance he finally got her to calm down. Grim's primary thing to find would be to find a Razor Fang, an item which evolved Gligar. That should help a lot on the more realistic Legend's Guard missions, and generally give both Grim and his Pokémon an ego boost; like they would need it. On the down side, the money Grim had brought along was very little, and designed to be used in an emergency should one arise. Oh well, he could always borrow someone else's if there was a problem.
"Well, I'd probably get some kind of shopping done, and then I might-" Grim replied, but was cut off by Atunick once again. He began to flail around a little in his sleep on Grim's shoulder. "Atunick, knock it off."
The Gligar raised an eyelid at the comment, seemingly too tired to make any real response other than a low growl. "Gli..."
"Anywho," continued Grim, turning back to the one who had questioned him. "Yeah, some shopping maybe, just for stuff I can't find near my home town. But then again, we're all here for the whole 'Astral Tower' fiasco," Grim continued, although he was rambling on a little. "So we'll probably have to deal with that first."
That was as fair a response as anyone could really ever get to the question. Plain and simple. Atunick pushed himself up and rubbed his eyes viciously, but still rather cautiously due to having pincers for hands.

• Steve was on the helicopter, selected for some mission, mostly all he had gotten was they were helping a legendary and that it would be his first big mission since joining the Legends Guard. He gave a quick look-through of the people on the helicopter and returned to staring blankly out the window, wondering how his first big mission would turn out.

• Miharu closed her eyes, trying to remember what the mission entitled. She really hadn't been paying attention to what Hunter said, it was a bad habit of hers to tune out droning voices. It was something she perfected and it was a skill that she was proud off. Suddenly, the little bits of the mission that got stuck in her head were coming back to her.

Kimuto...Something tower, er, Astral Tower...something about Dialga...

Miharu opened her eyes as she remembered that. This mission is something about legendary pokemon! You would think Dialga would stop getting into so much trouble, but of course not. It has been a few months since I had seen Dialga last...I just hope this does not end with a trip to the Distortion World again. That was just crazy, walking upside down...I lost all faith in science. Although it was fun trying to figure out the maze. Although I was lost there for a pretty long time. Why did I join again? Oh right, I was bored of the battling scene. I should have been a coordinator instead, because that would have so worked. People would have wondered why I was so bad at coordinating when I was such a good battler. Plus, I am pretty sure that none of my pokemon would be good show pokemon. Well, maybe Eevee that has yet to be named could be a good show pokemon. I should have just stuck with battling. Less much of a headache anyways, minus the evil teams that magically appear like fungus. Or dandelions. Except uglier than fungus or dandelions. Way uglier.

• Late Arrival

-Raike had been the last onto the helicopter, choosing to stand rather than sit down. Some would say he looked slightly out of uniform as his jacket was open to reveal a red striped black shirt, and he wore dark jeans instead of the usual pants. His electrike, named Surge slept soundly on Raike's head. Surge's colors are not really normal, as instead of the usual green, his hair color was black, and his eye's were colored red. He didn't really know anyone on the craft, besides Hunter, the mission admin.
He had been told that he, and the rest of the group were on their way to Astral Tower, to aid the lord of time, Dialga, but he wondered why a legendary like him would need help against anything? Let alone a human. "Oh well" he thought "this will be a fun trip, who knows? Maybe Surge will even evolve? As of late we've been training hard, and no one knows what moves he knows." Raike couldn't wait to show everyone that he was not just a newcomer, or rookie, but for now, he held his peace, listening to the blades of the helicopter slice at the wind-

[Sorry for being a little late. I've been a bit busy with school and just now got time to put something together.]

The beating of the helicopter propellors greeted Grey as he walked up to the other members of the Guard chosen for this mission. He didn't recognize many, however quite a few seemed to recognize him. The only explanation for this would be because of his former profession: a Gym leader. He had traveled the world and had become a gym leader in a few cities. He had battled many and that could also explain why he doesn't recognize many of the people surrounding him. Meeting so many people coupled with his age generally leads to Grey's current predicament.

Grey tried to listen to what their Mission Leader, Hunter was telling them but ended up tuning him out. Grey thought about how tired he was, and also pondered how well his only Pokemon companion would handle the challenges he was about to face. He has so many Pokemon but was told only to bring one, and for some reason his choice seemed clear: his newly hatched Hitomoshi, Hyto. Earlier he had checked the Pokedex entry for Hitomoshi and hoped that Hyto would be well trained not to suck the lives out of the Guard. Either way, it was a bet he was willing to take because he was very keen on getting to know this mysterious Ghost and Fire type Pokemon, mainly because of his two previous gyms those were his choice types. The Pokemon was already well attached to him, so he needn't worry about his sole being stolen.

Eventually he noticed the people around him boarding the helicopter. He followed, and decided to spend the ride playing with Hyto, who he sent out of the Pokeball and into his lap.

• It seems we're all here!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
'
Well, I'd probably get some kind of shopping done, and then I might-' Grim replied, but was interrupted by his Gligar. It began to squirm a bit in his sleep on Grim's shoulder. 'Atunick, knock it off.'
The Gligar, apparently named atunick, opened an eye, apparently so tired that it could only growl 'Gli...'
'
Anywho,' continued Grim, looking back at Set, 'Yeah, some shopping maybe, just for stuff I can't find near my home town. But then again, we're all here for the whole "Astral Tower" fiasco,' Grim said, starting to ramble and trail off 'So we'll probably have to deal with that first.'
Set nodded.
Everyone seemed to have gotten on, except for Farrah Blanchard, who had canceled due to medical problems (OOC: Retcon!) and the blades started spinning.
Set looked round, a few people were asleep, and a few playing with their pokemon the others just sat there, waiting.
Set took out Futa's pokeball and looked throu
gh the transparent half.
Sure enough, there was the little otter, sleeping.
Set let him out and Futa slept on his lap as the helicopter took off.
They flew past the forest, then past the capital.
Tahjo was a smaller, less advanced region than Kimuto, but it's capital was still as big as Kimuto's second largest city.
They flew past the large island, with the smaller island next to it.
Set had never seen the obelisk on the island in real life before, only in pictures.
It was raised as a memorial to the great 'Kyurem' mission.
They were now flying over open sea, towards the Kimuto region.
Set noticed Hunter looking out to the sea, then walking over to Miharu and asking her something. He only caught the word;
'Bishamon,'
But shrugged i
t off. It would only take about an hour now, as they passed a few islands, (OOC:Maybe that's the Philippines?) about halfway there.
Set could finally spot Kimuto in the far distance, and woke up Futa.
They waited for the time they arrived.
• Miharu closed her eyes when she felt the helicopter's rotors moved. It must have been a few minutes when she felt someone stopping in front of her and looking at her. She opened her eyes and saw that it was Hunter.
"Do you still have Bishamon with you?" asked Hunter.
Miharu wondered if anyone would think it was weird that the mission admin was talking to any of the newer recruits. "Yes, I do. But I know the rules, emergencies only."
Hunter nodded and walked back to his seat. Miharu rolled her eyes, she had a bit of disdain for authority figures, and closed her eyes again. Although she was paranoid enough not to fall asleep in a place full of strangers, it didn't mean she couldn't rest her mind, so she let her mind drift into the endless sea of thoughts and songs.
• OOC: I'm bored of this helicopter!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The copter slowed down, and the blades stopped spinning.
Hunter stood at the front. 'OK, come on, we may be late as it is. As you know, Kier is trying to kill Dialga. Normally, Dialga would just squish any human that tried, but Dialga is currently weak, and Kier has found a way to make Dialga become a mortal, human form.'
Set was astonished.
Was that even possible?
'Please leave the helicopter and proceed to the tower, then go up and wait for Kier, so as to arrest him.'
Set did as told.
He put Oshawott in the pond while they quickly ate.
After, he picked him up and walked over to the entrance.

• Steve got off the helicopter, the trip had seemed to take a long time but he was ready to catch whoever this criminal was. A stray thought came upon him "Why do they need so many people to catch just one guy if they know exactly were he is and what hes doing" he shrugged it off as paranoia and continued on to the Tower entrance.

• ((OOC: I've been bored of this helicopter when we first went up in the air. XD))

Miharu stepped off the helicopter, automatically checking her surroundings. It would be the second time seeing Dialga again, and she wondered how it got from his universe to this universe. She even knew what Dialga was weak from, Cyrus trying to control Dialga and Palkia to create a new world, and he nearly succeed as well, which was why Dialga was possibly so tired.

Miharu sighed. Meeting Dialga for the second time! Hopefully it would be better. Actually, with her luck, it would probably be worse.

• -Raike yawned a bit, stretching his arms. No one told him the ride was supposed to be that long, and he seriously hated being in one place for too long. He then stepped off the helicopter, taking the yawning Electrike off his head, and begging to follow the rest group. He had heard of the man named Cyrus who had tried to control Dialga, and it was not too long ago, so Dialga must still be weak. Raike had a friend who had a more personal connection to Dialga, although he didn't even know it..."

• Nathaniel listened intently as Hunter explained the mission. "Someone trying to kill Dialga? That's terrible!" he said to himself as he grabbed his cubone's pokeball. He could remember hearing about a man called Cyrus trying to take Dialga for himself to make a new world. He'd been sick in bed for a week at the time which gave him plenty of time to do nothing but hear about news from the outside world. Well, that and study.

However, that wasn't important. As soon as he managed to get out of the helicopter (and stop the world from spinning) he tossed his pokeball to the ground and said, "Come on out, Kenelm!"

After explaining the situation to his battle-ready companion, they followed the others up into the tower. As he climbed ever higher, he began to feel dizzy. He thought it was just pre-battle nerves and managed to shake the feeling off. Completing the mission was his number one concern.

• OOC: I'm sorry I was away, I'm just gonna kick this off again. Also, Astral Tower's Theme Music:

...................................................................................................
Set was beginning to feel tired, the party had been climbing this tower for 3 hours now, and he needed a break. He reached in his backpack and got out a Cheri berry muffin, and started eating. He gave half to Futa, and caught up with the group.

The interior of the tower was strange, just many floors of brown stone, but Set was beginning to notice, each floor's stained glass windows were different. He walked up to one, depicting the shadow of a pokemon, in the stars, surrounded by unkown. Set couldn't recognize the shape, but ignored it and continued up the next staircase.
