As long as it's only linking to a patch and not a full ROM file, I don't believe there would be an issue with it.

I know about the the whole patch thing. So just to be sure, I can post a download link on my signature without a thread? If so, this sounds stupid but I've never done it before so...how do you do it?

I've never seen anything in the signature rules against this. So, as long as it doesn't link to anything illegal or obscene, I can't think of anything that would be directly wrong with doing so. You can place a link in your signature by just, well, linking to it? [URL][/URL]

I'm assuming mine's within the limits? On top of each other, both images are only ~260 px, whereas the banner is 425 px wide, so they're well within a 500x300 square.
