Britney Spears is correct about how Adamant is inferior to Jolly.

Jolly Tyranitar after a DD has 364 Speed.

Adamant Tyranitar only has 331 Speed after a boost.

Jolly Tyranitar outruns even +Speed 115 Base Pokemon after a DD, while Adamant ones can only outrun neutral 115 Speed ones after a DD.

oh, I thought that trick was a psychic type move?

is there any efficient way to absorb a trick?

Here's something I've been wondering about for a while.

Say you have a Scarf Medicham with Skill Swap and a Slaking on your side of the field in a double battle. If you use Skill Swap, will it successfully give Slaking Pure Power?

Im pretty sure this works, yes.

One thing I found is that most Trickers these days use Specs or Scarf. If you can birng a Poke that can use either of these efficiently, it should work. Heatran, Gengar, and SpecsMence are some better ones. Although my Specs Kingdra got in a war with a Trick Specs Gross yesterday... lol

or... you could just use taunt.

Now we all know Salamence has always been a dedicated massive threat to the entire metagame. But people are unaware of the new MixMence threat that has been running around, dominating teams as of late. I've seen people switching this guy in and easily netting them +1 kills every single time.

It's time I feel as if though I must share this particualar Salamence set with you guys so we can discuss it and hopefully come up with a way to deal with this monster.

Salamence - Life Orb
Intimidate
Rash/Naughty/Naive - 252 Sp. Atk, 252 Spd, 6 Atk
~ Draco Meteor
~ Flamethrower/Fire Blast
~ Earthquake
~ Dragon Claw/Outrage/Dragon Dance

Discuss people.

Tentacruel can be a good counter to ludicolo, it is immune to toxic, it resists both surf and grass knot and can possibly OHKO him with sludge bomb/poison jab.
And it can return starmies attack with mirror coat, but i dont know if starmie´s t-bolt OHKO tenta.

Standard Spinner Starmie (132SpAtt) will do 31-37%, which fails to 2HKO standard support tentacruel (204HP/172SpDef), and may even fail to 3HKO it. However mirror coat will in turn only manage a 2HKO, and starmie won't be keen on t-bolting you again when it realises what you're up to.

I hear alot of hype from Rotom-H, how good is Rotom-G? Or 'Mowtom', if you will.

The only differences between Oventom and Motortom is their appearances, and the fact that Oventom gets Overheat, while Motortom gets Leaf Storm. I would say that Motortom makes a good check to bulky waters, especially Swampert. Leaf Storm should be able to OHKO pert if you put some Spa evs in. None of the other forms can do that much to Pert.

Quick question;

Does Blissey w/ Thunderbolt provide a good check to Specs Star? (some people still use it >_>)

Any blissey is a 100/% counter to any starmie, it doesnt need Thunderbolt lol. Seismic Toss counters it fine really.
