As many of you know, regionals are coming up very soon. I hope we all do well in our area, :) but unfortunatly, only 1 of use can win in each region in each division. I was planning on doing either a Spiker/Stall team, or a rush team. This is my Stall/Sandstorm Team. Here we go! (V Gen Pokemon ONLY)

    Haxorus @ Choice Band
    Role: Sweeper
    Nature: Jolly
    Ability: Rivalry
Move Set: Brick Break - Outrage - X-Scissor - Night Slash
    EV's: 252 Attack - 252 Speed - 4 HP

    Excadrill @ Air Balloon
    Role: Sweeper
    Nature: Adamant
    Ability: Sand Rush
Move Set: Rapid Spin - Sword Dance - Earthquake - Rock Slide
    EVs: 4 HP - 252 Attack - 252 Speed

    Zoroak @ Choice Scarf
    Role: Sp. Sweeper/Roarer
    Nature: Modest
    Ability: Illusion
Move Set: Extrasensory - Flame Thrower - Dark Pulse - Shadow Ball
    EV's: 252 Sp. Attack - 252 Speed - 4 HP

    Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
    Role: Mix Wall/Spiker
    Nature: Sassy
    Ability: Iron Barb
Move Set: Leech Seed - Thunder Wave - Power Whip - Stealth Rock
    EV's: 172 HP - 168 Sp. Defense - 168 Defense

    Crustle @ Smooth Rock
    Role: Wall/Spiker
    Nature: Impish
    Ability: Sturdy
Move Set: Spikes - Toxic - Sand Storm - X-Scissor
    EV's: 252 HP - 252 Defense - 4 Sp. Defense

    Jellicent @ Lum Berry
    Role: Sp. Wall
    Nature: Calm
    Ability: Water Absorb
Move Set: Recover - Toxic - Scald - Ice Beam

The only things I can say is that I don't have any coverage on ground-type attacks, but none of my Pokemon get super effective against it.
Tell me what you think. And constructive criticism is accepted.

  • This is a Sandstorm team, yet there is no Tyranitar?

    Use this;

    Tyranitar @ Leftovers
    Trait: Sandstream
Brave Nature (+Atk, -Spd) / Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    Evs: 252 HP / 88 SpA / 168 SpD or 252 HP / 6 Atk / 252 SpD
    - Stealth Rock
    - Crunch
    - Fire Blast / Pursuit
    - SuperPower

Replace it with Crustle, but make it your lead.

    Excadrill want's this;

Excadrill @ Air Balloon / Life Orb
    Trait: Sand Rush
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
    Jolly Nature (+Spe, -SAtk)
    - Swords Dance
    - Earthquake
    - Rock Slide
    - Return / Rapid Spin / X-Scissor

Why does it have Razor fang? ~_~

    Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
    Trait: Iron Barbs
    EVs: 252 HP / 48 Def / 208 SpD
    Ivs: 0 Speed
    Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spe)
    - Spikes
    - Leech Seed / Stealth Rock
    - Power Whip
    - Gyro Ball / Thunderwave / Protect

That's the standard Ferrothorn set. Why does your's have Giga Drain? |:

    Jellicent @ Leftovers
    Trait: Water Absorb
    EVs: 252 HP / 172 Def / 84 Spe or 252 HP / 252 Def / 6 SpD
Calm Nature (+SpD, -Atk) / Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
    - Scald / Surf
    - Recover
    - Taunt / Shadow Ball / Ice Beam
    - Toxic / Will-o-Wisp / Taunt

    Standard Jellicent set.

I'm gonna let someone take over now, because -- this is just. -__-

    A few notes;

Why does Haxorus have a choice band with Dragon Dance?
Zoroark is to frail to use roar.

I was just thinking of that as well.
Zoroark is to frail to use roar.

    My reasons are in Bold.
I kinda figured it would be bad though.

  • Ferrothorn can't use Giga Drain effectively thanks to its poor Special Attack. Your best bet is passive healing with Leech Seed, which may force switches.

Mold Breaker >>> Rivalry on Haxorus because it lets it ignore Levitate when it uses Earthquake.

    bottom no

havent you ever seen cb rivalry haxorus ohko even a doryuuzu

by the way, using only gen 5 pokemon is a bad idea, theres not enough pokemon to make a decent team.

That's true, but Rivarly is a very situational ability, IMO. Plus, Haxorus may need Mold Breaker to get through Levitators with Earthquake.

@xDreaming: Does your regional allow only Unova Pokemon or Pokemon from all regions?

The Regional tournaments only let Unova Pokemon in them for a Reason. All Unova Pokemon except the Tao trio and Victini are allowed.

V Gen only. Not even Pokemon in the game that are from other regions.
