INTRODUCTION
Who are we? We are Pokemon hackers who express our miscontent from the original Pokemon games in our own, modified hacks. What I miss in Pokemon games is often a decent storyline. It's always the same old story with some slight adjustments. That's why I want to break this habit and deliver a hack with an interesting and intruguing storyline. One that's not even small enough to fit into one hack, but needs three. The first one we'll make is

Music: Found this on my old computer after a little searching: See Attachments.It's basically a remix of the old R/B/Y Trainer Battle music. Did this some time ago.


Motivation: I want something to do right now. I'm just waiting to get my thread approved in the Team Discussions forum. Hopefully my hack will become something one day. Ok back on topic, I really like spriting/making banners/making music and I'd love to make something for you.

1: I think so. Give me a sketch and I'll figure it out.
2. Yes. I'm not as experienced on that as in making normal sprites, but yeah, I can make OW's.
3. Sorry, no. I could watch a tutorial and figure it out but at this moment, no.
4. Well, add me at MSN and I'll listen. Your preview of Final Destination sounds good.

One thing, I attached an old version of the R/B/Y remix to the other post. I have the new one lying around here if you want it.

• Proof of work : NOTHING related to ROMs.

• Motivation: Well, you said you guys wanted to make a great story and well, I agree, Pokemon games are boring because they lack any real depth.

Okay, I am not good at this Rom Hacking thing (yet). I have never been good with Pixelation of sprites. I don't like mapping. However, I do like writing, and what I like even more? Editing. I have been a semi-professional editor for years working for Zines, magazines (Navy related), and more. I have written at a Senior/BAA college level for years (sadly my editing Expertise is probably in Poetry). However I have edited manuscripts ranging from dry mechanical text to in depth novellas. Of course one can always rely on the red and green squiggly lines, but Windows Checker doesn't know much about english to be honest, and errors always get through and it's embarrassing to see a ROM that can't use your/you're/there/their/they're correctly.

And of course, if that's just too useless on it's own, I can always beta test XD.

Either way, credits or no credits. I will play this effin' game!

There's another 4 page document i can send you if i decide you can help us out xD

It's an ambitious project! But i think it could get a bit more support!
Just a few members to fill a few spots and we can get moving. For now though we've got a nice but of the story planned out and some tiles in mind

Okay it's currently 6am where i am now. I've been doing a lot of work on a few different things so when i wake up again i will let you know the extent of how you are involved xD

hello. i want to help in storyline making. My proof:

In this part you've stranded on an unknown island. The professor in
the intro is actually Chestnut who explains you what happened in POD
and what you've done: You've saved the world from Arceus and Team Xenos.
However, he forgot your name and his own name. Apparently you've been in a
shipwreck along with some other scientists who were heading towards
the Nagoroh region. You've never reached it, though because of something you
don't know in the beginning: the ship's been hijacked and you, along
with the professor and some others have been held hostage. You, however,
managed to escape and swim to a, currently, abandoned island. Your
Pokemon, however, were not so lucky. Even your Eevee didn't make it.
So there you are, standing on the beach, without a Pokemon, without
Pokedex. Without anything. When you walk around a little on the beach
you notice there are, again, two roads to choose. One to a light side
and one to a darker side of the beach. On the light side you'll meet
a Plusle who'll accompany you. On the somewhat darker side you'll meet
a Minun who'll stay with you. However, you can't catch both and each of
the Pokemon holds 1 PokeBall, which you can use to catch another Poke
mon. The Minun and Plusle are both in level 5. Furthermore, on the
isle you'll find another survivor; a Team Xenos member: Your
friend/rival in a Team Xenos uniform!!! When you adress him he tells
you to mind your own business and it seems like he doesnt even know
you anymore. Apparently he couldn't come over the fact that you're better
Exploring the island even further you come to notice that it is completely
uninhabited, but it has not always been that way. You see cave drawings
from very early cavemen and carved pictures depicting Mew. You delve
deeper into the woods to find a place full of Unown texts and even a hole.
When you want to enter it your friend stops you: Hold on! I think someone's
been here before! Look at this rock. It's been smashed earlier, but by
who? On the other side of the hole you enter a paradise. Flowers flourish,
the water sprinkles, but there were no Pokemon. Then, suddenly from
out of nowhere you saw it for one second: Mew!
You wake up inside the house of an old lady. She says she found you outside
in the desert, being delirious. Desert? You were pretty sure you were
in the jungle. Did Mew do this to you? If yes; Why? You appear to have
stranded in an old village, with an awful lot of rocks. I think you should
check the desert, shouldn't you? In the desert you find nothing but some
weak Pokemon, some crypts and tombs and an area where you need Rock Smash.
Behind the Rock Smash area is a sandstorm going on, so you can't go there
yet.
So, you go down to Coastreef Village, where you can obtain Rock Smash

GavZ, you really shouldn't judge anyone by their posts. To make a good storyline you don't need to be a "veteran" on these forums or something like that. But, I don't think we need a storyliner right now since we've got Sophidius... Well, it's your choice.

Well i just like people to know how things work before they sign on. And anyhow i have had 2 storyline requests before that. So i have 4 options for storyliners and none for tile inserters. Which is what i need most. So i said come back once he has 100 posts so that by that time i may have a tile inserter and i may need another storyline editor. Make sense?
