Today I started testing my offensive team, some 20 battles in to version 0.3, I had a battle that I had to log.

My Format: I know nothing is high lighted. It makes it look more attactive at time, but I can't figure out what colors everyone would like, and what colors would work with the skin for pokecommunity your using, so I'm not coloring. I'm using Images.

    100%.......................100%..............100% -> 33 %

    vielIeis sent out Jirachi
    shadow sent out Azelf
    Jirachi used U-turn.
Azelf lost 67% of its health
    vielIeis switched in Scizor

    Azelf used Stealth Rock.

Standard first turn for me. Azelf sets up SR for my sweepers. I get banged up pretty bad by U-turn.

    ----

    Turn 2:
Now I'm staring down the barrel of scizor. Not my favorite place in the world, unless I'm gonna pull my magnezone out. But I don't have that, So scizor should pursuit, and since I'm not gonna switch I'll fire blast on the hopes that I'll survive.
    Testing Testing 1,2,3

    Testing Testing 1,2,3

    .......100%..............33% -> 0%

    Scizor used Bullet Punch.
Azelf lost 33% of its health.
    shadow's Azelf fainted.

Well that sucks. I wrote this one off on my newness to the game. In retrospec bulletpunch was the simplest choice, why risk anything when you can KO it. Really I didn't mind to much, its called suicide lead for a reason.

    Score 6 - 5 (him)

    Turn 3:
My Gyarados works well as a Scizor check, the treat of setting up a earthquake normally gets scizor to leave the feild.

    vielIeis switched in Jirachi
    Pointed stones dug into Jirachi.
Jirachi lost 6% of its health.
    Gyarados used Dragon Dance.

Not the worse turn. Gyarados vs Jirachi, and I have a DDance under my belt I should be able to go places. I mean Jirachi is steel and I have earthquake

    ---

    Turn 4:
Gyarados with a DDance, and Earthquake vs. a Steel. I'm hoping for a switching, but I'm stilling using Earthquake, it won't power something up and It makes one hell of an entry hazard.

I celebrated this turn. I have a DDance, and a Choice Scarf, locked in earthquake. That rocks, waterfall lock would be better but I can live with EQ.

    shadow switched in Porygon2
    Porygon2 traced Salamence's Intimidate!!
    Salamence used Dragon Dance.
Salamence's leftovers restored its health a little!

Gyara can't hit Salamence, but Porygon2 can. He DDances, and sets himself at neutral attack.

vielIeis: not this.-.- (love for porygon)

    Turn 6:
Porygon2 destorys Salamence, end of story. So he was going to switch. So I went for toxic, hoping to damaging the incoming poke.

Rotom-h's leftovers restored its health a little!

Managed to hit Rotom pretty decent this turn. The Thunderbolt doesn't do much, but toxic will add up soon. I am not happy about the Choice Scarf is this guy handing them out to every pokemon. But really I shouldn't hinder my porygon2 that much, he normally just switches in boltbeams, and jumps off to a sweeper.

    Pillow Talk
    Spoiler:

    Review:
I made of ton of bad choices. Most of it I blame on inexperience, but the 4 turns I spent eq scizor were just pointless. Overall I enjoyed the battle, it was challenging and entertaining. Once I finish my testing I will post a RMT that should be firmly rooted in the offense that this team builds on.

    MVP:
    Testing Testing 1,2,3

Tyranitar. This guy helped me power past salamence, and Latias after my dragon counters (porygon2) death. Choice banded STAB attacks from Tyranitar cause massive damage, to most creatures, so just switching in on him is hard. Not to mention the SpD bonus that he picks up from the Sand storm that he casts when he enters play.

    LVP:
There wasn't one; (now I'll tell you why)

Gyarados did basically nothing this match, at first glance, but in the end his ability/trait allowed him to lower scizors attack two stakes allowing for infernape to survive bullet punch and get the win.

Azelf died in the 3rd turn, but then thats what it does, if it gets Rocks up it did its job. If it gets a KO & rocks up then it shines.

    Closing Notes:
I know it isn't color, this is to prevent compatablitity issues with one skin of the pokecommunity forums vs another, and to stop the pointless, Nice log but I don't like the color it hurt my eyes, couldn't read it ect. I hope the picutes will cover the lacking of color.

I know I'm a noob. I have been playing on shoddy battle for a total of 24 battle since stopping from playing in August of Last YEAR.

Firstly if you don't want to use colour then bold it, make the commentary stand out so we can find it easier. Anyways your commentary was decent but it can be improved elaborate more on your thoughts and tell us what you were thinking and considering.

    The sandstorm rages.
Latias is buffetted by the sandstorm!
Rotom-h's leftovers restored its health a little!
Stuff like that can be omitted from logs, we know when Ttar comes in they're be a Sandstorm so yeah =)

This is just for future reference, try this site for sprites next time if you want. They have all 493 so it's convenient.

Good formatting, decent battle. It was overall, a good read :x

i love that suicide risk move that you took to get azelf out. Ha, it was epic how /jirachi fainted lol

    :t354:TG

My play style has never been conservative, or careful. Thats why I have a love/hate relationship with purely offensive teams, they play directly into my style of play so I play them even more hardcore and end up losing...

Some sort of score board would have been nice. Especially at times when your pokemon attacked his and you didn't show how much it did so we constantly had to refer to the precariously positioned percentages above. >_>

It was an okay battle, if there was better formatting then it'd be much more enjoyable. Some of the prediction was really awful, I'm sure there were better logs you had elsewhere, but it wasn't bad. :)

At the bottom I think I mentioned that this one of my first battles in while, so most my older better battle logs were deleted, Also I am working a new type of formating that will take in effect all of the changes you made.

    Here is an example

    Turn 5:

I really didn't care what happened this turn because this turn was made up as an example as future format for people to comment on or about

It was alright, the battle wasn't all that great and the commentary could've been much better though.
