I never really got the appeal of Mega Man games

I like being able to shoot in eight directions, grab ledges and actually avoid taking damage

Metroid > Mega Man

Playing on an emulator sucks horribly. You've got to play it on a SNES to really appreciate the excellent platforming and level design. X was my favorite and still is one of them to this day. I think it's the best Megaman to date.

Also Metroid and Megaman are two totally different kind of games.
