Finally got round to watching the Lightning Thief today. It is pretty different from the book but I did like it because it meant that I didn't know everything that would happen in the film. Sure I had a good idea of the general direction and the main events that would transpire but it was nice that the film went about doing some things in different ways to keep me on my toes a bit more.

The funny thing is I watched "I am number four" immediately before and the guy who played the douchebag football jock guy is the same actor who played Luke in the Lightning Thief. Some actors never change eh cause in both films they start off friendly then become douches as the film progresses.
