Relatively good animation in this one. Quite enjoyed the fight in the beginning.
Finally someone mentions the Soul Chain again. WHY DID THEY NOT TRY THAT ON AIZEN. I was starting to think Byakuya just made stuff up all those hundred episodes ago.
...AND THE STRAP THAT NO ONE CARES ABOUT BUT KON AND APPARENTLY ICHIGO. CATCHING IT BEFORE IT HITS THE GROUND IS NOW MORE VITAL THAN DEFEATING THE BAD GUY.

WE INTERRUPT THIS ARMAGEDDON FOR FAKE UKITAKE STORYTELLING TIME.

That's a suckish way to die. Can't say I didn't think of that possibility though. Using deus ex Machina on the huge inpenetratable threat AND killing off all the fake guys we will never see again, in one go. That's effective storytelling.
And Nozomi commits suicide, too. That way we get rid of all of them.
