Fiiiiiinally I'm done with Expert Emerald! Frankly, nothing too exciting happened, so I won't bother with a detailed update. Since it is a hack, the increase in difficulty definitely left its marks, as I had to grind up my team at several points in the game (which my final play time might make obvious...). Rapidash with Drought was undoubtedly one of the MVP's, and Bellossom also did very well. Flygon was a slight disappointment, mainly because of the physical/special split in Gen 3. I can definitely recommend this hack though, it was great fun playing it. Also, I tried to record the champion battle, but the file got corrupted.

My next game will be a Sinnoh hack. I'm thinking either Bloody Platinum, Platinum Enhanced Edition or Flawless Platinum. My team will be as follows:
I suppose I'll just post again...
My game turned out to be Sol Platinum, so none of the ones I originally planned.
♦ Started up the game, and chose Turtwig as my starter. I named it Grasstoise, because I originally thought about keeping it (since I get to pick a Grass Pokémon), but I eventually decided against it.
♦ Beat up my rival and battled some trainers up to Jubilife, after having received the Pokédex and Poké Balls.
♦ Went to the Trainer's School, and then got a Pokétch.
♦ Challenged my rival on Route 203. He was very tough, but Grasstoise eventually brought him down.
♦ My first official team member, and encounter on Route 203, was a Magby. I named it Gunther.
♦ Used him for a lot of the remaining trainer battles.
♦ Against the gym, I had to grind him up to Lv 20 in order to win. Low Kick was of great assistance.
♦ Moved on to Eterna, beating up some Galactic Grunts in the process. Also infiltrated the HQ, where Gunther made great use of Will-O-Wisp against Mars.
♦ I tried getting a Wurmple to appear from a Honey Tree for several days, until I just assumed they weren't found there.
♦ Went up to Eterna Forest, where I encountered a Dustox instead. Since it was my planned evolution for Wurmple, I decided to catch that instead.
♦ Named it VacuumLuna, and then made it out of the Forest.
♦ Battled Gardenia, where VacuumLuna was great with Nasty Plot and Gust/Psybeam. Gunther had to help out too, though.
♦ I had received Cut from Cynthia, so I decided to go to the Old Chateau and see if any Misdreavus were there.
♦ As it turns out, they were! I found one right away, and caught it. Named it MissMarple.
♦ Trained her up a bit in the Galactic HQ in Eterna City. Eventually faced Jupiter, who was quite difficult, but went down in the end. I believe Gunther evolved after the battle, or he already had shortly before. It was around this point, anyway.
♦ Got a Bicycle, and used it to continue south on Cycling Road.
♦ Explored the route under it for a little bit, hoping to find a Seedot - the Pokémon I chose for my Grass-type. I didn't have any luck, though.
♦ Continued east to Hearthome City through Mt. Coronet, avoiding as many trainers as possible. I was already overlevelled.
♦ Made it there, and challenged Fantina after having met her in the Super Contest Hall. She was not a huge threat, thanks to MissMarple and Gunther's Faint Attack.
♦ Earned my badge, and then moved on to Solaceon. Met my rival along the way, whom I defeated.
♦ Avoided as many trainers as possible on my way to Solaceon, as well.
♦ Went north to find a Seedot, which I did! Caught one and named it Gandalf.
♦ Trained him up on all the trainers I had previously avoided. He evolved after only one level into a Nuzleaf.
♦ Went through the Lost Tower, and then trekked to Veilstone.
♦ Took on the gym, mainly with VacuumLuna, but everyone except for Gandalf played a role here.
♦ Maylene also required a team effort, but wasn't too hard to beat.
♦ Currently saved in the gym, about to exit.
