    he's not, there is a 50% chance of it being a shiny, although i've never got a shiny out of that egg before
    I think my first pokemon out of the egg was an Elekid(yay)

    • Uhh lemme remember... I got a Cleffa in my Crystal and my brother got a normal pokemon too. This was before we knew about the shiny chance so I bought another Crystal to get a shiny Igglybuff and 2 shiny Elekid.

    any1 know if you can do the lil cheat in crystal to get all starters like in gold and silver (its basically done the same as clone cheat). k thanks.

    I don't actually own the game, but when I played through it on an emulator I got a shiny Elekid out of it and because Electabuzz happens to be one of my favorite Electric types, it naturally became a team member.

    not only was i lucky enough to get a magby..it was also shiny!

    Well, back in the day when I had a Crystal, I believe I got a Tyrogue, not sure whether or not it was shiny, but I still attempted to clone like I did all the time on my Silver which is probably lost in the dumps right now, and BAM! My file was erased and I gave it to some random guy for free, leaving me with a Gold on which I NEVER cloned from then on. EVER. Hell, I never even used the Emerald Cloning glitch, despite knowing of it for years.
