  • The stupid aspects of pokemon...

    Animal cruelty?
They make creatures fight 'till they just can't do it anymore. After they get owned they ahve to be rushed to some sort of hospital. Does that make any sense to you?

  • Well with the big trading machines i always thought that the person kept there own ball just the pokemon inside switches so for example:
If Richy was to trade a pokemon he would still get his pokeball just not his pokemon.
And with the 10 thing i just think they just said ohh yeah just make 10 it is a milestone kind on number and if we make 18 the show might not really pull kids

  • What people seem to forget is that the anime is aimed primarily at children. Therefore the main characters aren't going to be 18+

I think it would be cool if they did have a "older" anime with some more "mature" elements. :D

  • You beat the Champion. You are crowned the new Champion. Then you go back to beat the Elite Four again and guess what? You ain't the Champion anymore. The person who used to be the Champion has, using ninja stealth, reclaimed the title without you even knowing.

I've always suggested that if they wanted a 5th battle at the Pokemon League, why not make it a randomly generated trainer who wants to dethrone you instead of recycling the old Champion. Maybe that former Champion should take a role like Red or Steven in Emerald for the post-game.

  • In regard to Team Rocket (as well as other evil organizations) in the games,

I love how whenever you defeat a grunt or admin, they just stand there.

My favorite line is from the original RBY or in the FR/LG remakes when you're in the Celadon Game Corner's basement:

You defeat the one Rocket Grunt and he's just like, "Oh no! I dropped the Lift Key!" and he just lets you come up and take it. Hahah.

I also love the rate at which Pokemon evolve (in the anime and in the games). Best anime example would be Ash's Charizard. I love how in the games you're like a 10 year old kid and you can have every Pokemon in existence at their fully evolved stages. Not to mention you're a 10 year old kid who brought down an evil organization basically by yourself and became the Pokemon League Champion. LOL.

Here's a question; if the professor of a region is supposed to give the first Pokémon to new trainers, why is it that only a handful of trainers end up with starters? And how do the rest of them get their first Pokémon? Ok, maybe some of them have them handed down from their parents, but what about the rest?
Next: why does Pikachu always downgrade at the beginning of each region? He's trained long enough to be quite powerful by now, yet he loses to easy opponents.
Next: why does the Pokémon in the games work exactly opposite to the one in the anime? In the games, the dex automatically generates information as soon as the Pokémon is caught; in the games, it can be used before that. Plus, it doesn't just give some useless trivia, it also gives some useful info, like it's learnable moves, it's type weaknesses, etc.
Next: How do trainers earn money? In the games, everyone you defeat in battle, even your best bud gives you money; in the anime, no such thing happens...
Next: what role do the elite four play in the anime? Atleast 3 different members have been shown on screen, but every Pokémon league featured (barring the Orange League) involves a tournament against other trainers who also have gym badges, and that's it...
Next: Pokémon like dugtrio and magneton, their dex entries claims that they're formed when three diglett or magnemite fuse, yet one single diglett is seen to evolve...

  • The same reason that there seem to be no weapons, people never found a need to develope them because Pokemon did it for them. For Flash, flashlights are confirmed to exist in the Pokemon World, but it's probably because flash works so much better. Instead of a 2 foot wide 10 foot long beam of light, flash illuminates either the whole area(Gen. 1 and 2) or about 30 feet all around you(Gen. 3 and 4)

There are weapons in pokemon. They just dont show them much. Here are vids to prove it.

  • One weird aspect I found is how humans can exist in the Pokemon world, If there are no real animals in the Pokemon world, then how did humans in the pokemon world get there, they could not have evolved from apes, so, did they come from another planet or something..... Or.... Maybe they are Pokemon themselves, but do not know it..... yet....

I wonder if the Pokemon world has cartoons with Pokemon characters talking, you know, like those cartoons with the anthropomorphic animals and inanimate objects that can talk, walk, and whine

There's fish in the early episodes and a dog in a later one.

Yeah, but soon, they replaced those with Pokemon too, It's like nintendo thinks that no real animal should exist, no cats, no dogs, no blue hedgehogs that can run very fast, no foxes with two tails, only Pokemon

Luck sorta did my job right there, so thanks for saving time.

    I'll leave ya with this:
The funny and unrealistic aspects of Pokemon - Discuss!

    Akamaru, is that you?

Anyways, back on topic, what about religion, we see the Pokeball insignia everywhere, do People in the Pokemon world worship he Pokeball and Pokemon, and actually, how can sucha large pokemon like say, Wailord, or even Pikachu, easily fit in a sphere that is 10 inches in diameter, maybe science and math are hundreds of years ahead of the real world in the Pokemon world

Also, It seems like People use Pokemon for everything, even for movie actors in place of human beings at the movies, I don't see the point in thet, with a movie with no english or Japaneese dialouge, only creatures that say only their name 1.5 billion times in one years.

Transportation, we barey see any cars in the Pokemon world, and where are the highways, how do people get from one place to another, even if they don't have any Pokemon at all.

Government and Military, who runs the country, and does the military only use Pokemon, if so, there would be no crime, the world must be overpopulating with humans if there is no murder or crime, or even simple bank robbers, the bad guys only steal the Pokemon, not caring about murdering someone or even rob a bank.

To me, it seems like people are using Pokemon as slaves to do their bidding, and would'nt their be an organization like PeTA or some animal rights activist group that protests on public rights for Pokemon, this also leads to what People and Pokemon eat.

Also, since Pokemon are animal like creatures, would there be a furry fandom in the pokemon world, hopefully not.......

Presumably since you didn't stick around to beat challengers, you gave up your title.

I love how whenever you defeat a grunt or admin, they just stand there.

    They don't always.

My favorite line is from the original RBY or in the FR/LG remakes when you're in the Celadon Game Corner's basement:

You defeat the one Rocket Grunt and he's just like, "Oh no! I dropped the Lift Key!" and he just lets you come up and take it. Hahah.

Maybe because you have Pokemon and his are all unable to battle? I don't think he could take them down himself.

I love how in the games you're like a 10 year old kid and you can have every Pokemon in existence at their fully evolved stages.

Well, you have to work for it. They don't just not evolve when they reach their requirements because you're a kid.

Not to mention you're a 10 year old kid who brought down an evil organization basically by yourself and became the Pokemon League Champion. LOL.

    Pokemon != by self.

Here's a question; if the professor of a region is supposed to give the first Pokémon to new trainers, why is it that only a handful of trainers end up with starters? And how do the rest of them get their first Pokémon? Ok, maybe some of them have them handed down from their parents, but what about the rest?

The handing down thing is probably common. Getting given eggs and stuff too. Or maybe how Wally got his in RSE. There'd be plenty of other ways too.

Next: why does Pikachu always downgrade at the beginning of each region? He's trained long enough to be quite powerful by now, yet he loses to easy opponents.

Maybe a side effect of that electric zap thing from the Pewter City episode.

That's not exactly opposite... Better technology?

Next: How do trainers earn money? In the games, everyone you defeat in battle, even your best bud gives you money; in the anime, no such thing happens...

    Normal jobs.

Next: what role do the elite four play in the anime? Atleast 3 different members have been shown on screen, but every Pokémon league featured (barring the Orange League) involves a tournament against other trainers who also have gym badges, and that's it...

    Probably nothing.

Next: Pokémon like dugtrio and magneton, their dex entries claims that they're formed when three diglett or magnemite fuse, yet one single diglett is seen to evolve...

Bad graphics. Maybe someday some other Magnemite might surround your Magnemite when the evolution animation is triggered. And Dugtrio is formed from the one Diglett:

Dugtrio's Ruby and Sapphire Pokedex Entry said:
Dugtrio are actually triplets that emerged from one body. As a result, each triplet thinks exactly like the other two triplets. They work cooperatively to burrow endlessly.

One weird aspect I found is how humans can exist in the Pokemon world, If there are no real animals in the Pokemon world, then how did humans in the pokemon world get there, they could not have evolved from apes, so, did they come from another planet or something..... Or.... Maybe they are Pokemon themselves, but do not know it..... yet....

There are other options than the Theory of Evolution.

I wonder if the Pokemon world has cartoons with Pokemon characters talking, you know, like those cartoons with the anthropomorphic animals and inanimate objects that can talk, walk, and whine

Not shown in Pokemon Channel, but maybe.

Anyways, back on topic, what about religion, we see the Pokeball insignia everywhere, do People in the Pokemon world worship he Pokeball and Pokemon,

Some people with the Sinnoh Myths. And Noah('s Ark) was mentioned in the anime. There have also been references to other religions I think.

how can sucha large pokemon like say, Wailord, or even Pikachu, easily fit in a sphere that is 10 inches in diameter, maybe science and math are hundreds of years ahead of the real world in the Pokemon world

    They're converted to energy.

Also, It seems like People use Pokemon for everything, even for movie actors in place of human beings at the movies, I don't see the point in thet, with a movie with no english or Japaneese dialouge, only creatures that say only their name 1.5 billion times in one years.

Don't they have both humans and Pokemon for that?

Transportation, we barey see any cars in the Pokemon world, and where are the highways, how do people get from one place to another, even if they don't have any Pokemon at all.

Most people have Pokemon presumably. Otherwise, escorts, bike paths, trucks, ships and trains all exist. Sure they might not be as common as in the real world, but I guess people don't travel as much.

Government and Military, who runs the country, and does the military only use Pokemon, if so, there would be no crime, the world must be overpopulating with humans if there is no murder or crime, or even simple bank robbers, the bad guys only steal the Pokemon, not caring about murdering someone or even rob a bank.

There is crime, lots of it. Police and random Pokemon trainers tend to deal with it. Nothing on the scale of a war (in modern day times) has been shown yet.

To me, it seems like people are using Pokemon as slaves to do their bidding, and would'nt their be an organization like PeTA or some animal rights activist group that protests on public rights for Pokemon, this also leads to what People and Pokemon eat.

Possibly. And people and Pokemon eat non-meat products and Pokemon. This has been referenced lots of times.

Also, since Pokemon are animal like creatures, would there be a furry fandom in the pokemon world, hopefully not.......

    Possibly.
